There were a few initial hiccups with the room (maintenance and standards) but the staff were all very attentive when I pointed these out and resolved the issues by moving us to a better room. It was unfortunate that the 2nd room they moved us to also had problems (Shower not working and some lights not working) but they moved us again and the 3rd room was fine. The staff members who helped make our stay so much better were Mouna and Ali on reception and Mohammed and Muina on concierge. Jaafar in the restaurant was also great at Breakfast.

Issues with maintenance and up keep need to be addressed. This hotel is described as 'High luxury' on Booking.com but this was not reflective in the maintenance of the rooms. However, Hakima did help in making the rest of our stay as comfortable as possible by upgrading us after the issues with the room.

Location is safe, central and close to restaurants and about 20 mins walk from the main square. Staff were excellent and very helpful. The concierge Abderrahim was great with organising trips and restaurants for us. Hakima in Customer Relations gave us a lovely welcome and a tasty Moroccan tea as a welcome drink. They were both always happy to help. It’s much appreciated. Sofia and Karima in the spa were great. The massage was lovely. I would definitely recommend this hotel. All of the staff went out of their way to make the stay relaxing and enjoyable. The swimming pool area was great. The breakfast was a very good mix of fresh fruit, hot dishes, pastries, roasted vegetables, salads and more. The currency exchange is on site so very convenient.

The hotel is in a super location and within walking distance of the medina, mall, restaurants etc. The staff at this hotel are exceptional, especially Hakima, guest relations manager. She went out of her way to make our stay very enjoyable, even leaving rose petals and fruit in our room to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Her warm and caring personality was evident from the moment we arrived. Also, Abderrahim, the concierge was extremely helpful in organising all our trips, taxis, booking restaurants etc. He was great to deal with and gave us excellent tips and advice too. The breakfast at this hotel is fabulous, it’s very varied and something to suit all tastes. Also the food is very fresh. The staff are exceptional at ensuring everyone is catered for. The food in the Skybar is very good quality too. Overall I would heartily recommend staying at the Hivernage hotel and we’ll certainly be returning.. thank you for making our holiday so enjoyable and relaxing 😊

I stayed at the Hivernage Hotel & Spa in Marrakech for three nights and four days, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were outstanding—incredibly helpful, kind, and genuinely welcoming. A special thank you to Abdelafit, who checked me in and out with such professionalism and care. He patiently answered all my questions and went above and beyond to help me find directions to the fabric markets at Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, a must-see in Marrakech. The spa experience was another highlight of my stay. Sofia and Salma made me feel so comfortable and helped recommend treatments that were perfect for me. I had my first hammam massage with Sadia, which left my skin unbelievably soft, followed by a deep tissue massage and facial with Asma—both were exceptional and left me feeling completely relaxed. I also visited the salon at the hotel, where Mohammed gave me a fantastic shampoo, cut, and blow-dry. He styled my hair beautifully with soft layers and bouncy volume—it looked and felt amazing! A real treat during my trip. The restaurant staff were also fantastic—always attentive, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Every meal was served with a smile and high-quality service. The hotel itself is beautifully located—close to all the major sights but still offers a peaceful, luxurious retreat. It truly lives up to its 5-star rating in both amenities and service. I highly recommend Hivernage Hotel & Spa and will definitely be returning!

We had an exceptional experience at the Hivernage Hotel & Spa. The location is perfect, the pool area isrelaxing, and the services provided were top-class. But what truly made the difference was the outstanding support from Mr. Abdelrahim. We are incredibly grateful to him. After arriving in Marrakesh to find ourselves in a very disappointing accommodation elsewhere, Mr. Abdelrahim went above and beyond to help us—even though the hotel was fully booked at the time. Thanks to his dedication and kindness, he managed to find a solution for our family during a stressful moment. His professionalism and genuine care made us feel truly welcome and taken care of. Thank you, Mr. Abdelrahim—you turned our stay into a wonderful memory!

Lovely hotel. Very nice room. Excellent breakfast and used the restaurant twice in the evening and the food was superb. 10 minute walk into the old town. Staff friendly and welcoming. Used the gym which was good. Would recommend.

Pool was very cold as the sun doesn't heat it as nearby buildings shield the view. Some building work next door and you can hear some noise in the day. To be fair, it doesn't start until 9.30am and finishes around 5pm. Didn't affect the holiday too much.

Traditional style with amazing service but still modern, breakfast is amazing very complete any request they respond really fast. Everyone speaks English so it is very easy to get any information. police is always around the property so feels really safe. Transportation: property is in Hivernage is a more high-end neighborhood but really close to La Medina. For us was amazing to be able to be close to La Medina but without being in the middle of the super busy Medina. For around €10 you can get into the airport

Great location in a nice area away from the Medina madness. Hotel staff were very attentive together with an excellent client service manager who could not do enough to make our stay so enjoyable.

La Table du Marche (next door) - interlinked with the Hivernage had great food but some of the staff had a poor attitude and were not very customer service focused (some exceptions). X3 got our order wrong, no apology - not good.

I had a wonderful stay at Hivernage Hotel & Spa. The location is ideal, walking distance to Gitex Africa and also close enough to the Medina to explore, yet peaceful and relaxing. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, always making sure everything was perfect. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated with that signature Moroccan touch. I especially loved the rooftop views. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Marrakech who wants a mix of luxury, comfort, and authentic hospitality.
