A wonderful unique independent hotel. Absolutely beautifully decorated, charming, spotlessly clean, and so pretty. Very friendly staff, breakfast is very good. We only ate in the restaurant one evening and it was very good as well, but it is very high end pricing for their food.
I expect to have an extra water bottle in my room if I ask for it. This was very disappointing as I drink a lot of still water to keep hydrated when I travel. I have never known a hotel to say when you ask for an extra bottle of mineral water in your bedroom ' you have to pay for that'. We said we were happy to pay for the additional water, but each evening they still only left one bottle in the room, so we had to keep asking them! We booked a walking guide with the reception, and the guide Mohammed was a little disappointing, and we felt he was only taking us to the shops where he was getting a cut of what we bought, and we didn't see all the sites as advertised on the hotel guide. Just 2 minor points, but worth noting.

The hotel building is an architectural gem with beautiful gardens and greenery. The pool area is incredibly pleasant even at 45 degrees temperature and the staff make sure that sun beds and towels are always fresh. The beds are comfortable and the living space, decoration and amenities in the room made it a very relaxing stay. Al fresco dinner was great with beautiful music being played and the hotel kindly gave us complimentary drinks as it was our wedding anniversary. Despite not being big, the hotel invites you to stay and spend time in. It somehow feels like you're not in the city. We would definitely come back to stay.
Though beautiful, the bathroom could do with a bit of sprucing up: new taps, working drain plugs. A newer toilet would add points to the room too. The hotel could strive to make it easier for guests to move around Marrakech without having to brave the constant bargaining and arguing with taxi drivers. Accessibility to reasonably priced transport arrangements in well maintained air-conditioned cars would make the stay more pleasant. The hotel could be a bit more accommodating to checking out guests with late flights (in providing facilities to wash and change clothes before a flight).

Marrakesh’s Hidden Gem: Dar Rhizlane Is the Moroccan Fairytale You’ve Been Dreaming Of… If you’ve ever wondered what it feels like to step inside a Moroccan dream — equal parts palace, private estate, and romance novel — allow us to introduce you to Dar Rhizlane, Marrakesh’s best-kept secret (though we’re almost reluctant to share it with others). From the moment we entered, it was clear: Dar Rhizlane isn’t just a hotel — it’s an experience. A masterclass in attention to detail, where nothing is left to chance. Think: intricately carved archways, glowing Moroccan lanterns cleaned by hand (yes, every single one), and beds dressed like they were touched by angels — each drape of the sheets perfectly placed as if choreographed by royalty. Peace and tranquility reign here. It’s romance in real-time. From the serene pool surrounded by whispering palms to the dreamy breakfast area where bougainvillea blooms hang like nature’s chandeliers, this place hums with intimacy and soul. The trees themselves — over a century old — wrap the building like a protective, flowering hug. Even fallen petals don’t stand a chance. The grounds are so immaculately cared for that you’d swear the bougainvillea drop their flowers on cue, just to be swept away with grace. And then… there’s the service. Oh boy. Other hotels, take notes. Muhammad at the restaurant deserves a Michelin star in hospitality. By our second morning, he knew how we liked our coffee (strong), our eggs (runny), and our lives (spoiled). He was always one step ahead, yet never intrusive — the kind of intuitive care you can’t fake. And let’s talk about the barman, who should have his own Netflix cocktail show. He whipped up a spicy margarita so spectacular — laced with chili, harissa, and Chinese five spice — we nearly wanted to take him back to London with us. A fiery, fragrant elixir that deserves international recognition. The reception and front office team? First class. No request too small.
Nothing much to complain at all, apart from one plug socket not working in the room, but was fixed immediately.

Fatima on reception was very helpful and friendly. Pool good and warm enough to swim in. Location a nice 20 minute walk away from the city and there are many good restaurants around to choose from. Lunch outside was nice as too a drink by the bar before bed.
Breakfast offering not inspiring (eggs and continental) especially if you are staying for more than a few days, restaurant food hit and miss on the plates, some excellent, others less so. Had some large dining groups using the restaurant during our stay and the noise of them leaving fed through to our room/woke us up.

Wonderful choice! Like a small paradise within the vibrant city. The oriental suite was even too big for our needs, but it was perfect! The staff is taking care of the room few times a day, which is outstanding, we haven’t experienced such a big attention to details. They always greeted us with a smile either it was mid of the day or 4am when we departed to the airport and were ready to answer to anything needed. Excellent choice of the breakfast which is served from 6-11AM and the pool was our favourite place every day right after travelling around the city in the first half of the day. Thanks to Fatima and the whole Dar Rhizlane team!

We had the most magical stay at Hotel Dar Rhizlane. Our room, with its own little garden, felt like a dream—beautifully designed and incredibly peaceful. The hotel itself was spotless, with a charming pool and lush gardens that made it feel like a hidden oasis. The staff were warm, welcoming, and impressively well-trained, always ready to help with a smile. Breakfast was a true highlight—abundant, delicious, and offering everything one could possibly wish for. Despite being just a stone’s throw from the Medina, the hotel was remarkably quiet and serene. There’s a truly special vibe about the place, and the location couldn’t have been more perfect. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

Dar Rhizlane Marrakech offers a truly exceptional experience, blending relaxation with luxury in the heart of Marrakech. From the moment you step onto the grounds, you’re greeted by lush, well-maintained gardens that create a tranquil atmosphere perfect for unwinding. The property is impeccably clean, with every corner exuding attention to detail. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and provide a peaceful retreat from the bustling city outside. The pool area is amazing! The service is top-notch, with staff going above and beyond to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible. If you’re looking for a serene escape with incredible surroundings, Dar Rhizlane is a 5 Star must-visit destination.

An Oasis in Marrakech. We loved this hotel. From the minute you arrive to the minute you leave, you are made to feel welcome. It truly is a great place to stay. The staff are all attentive, and nothing is a problem to anyone. You will feel relaxed from the moment you arrive. It really is one of the best "hotels" you will stay in - I say hotel, it's more of a home. The guest services are so friendly, the rooms are great, food is good and it's spotless. A huge recommendation from us.
Very little to dislike - we didn't use the gym as it was downstairs. It was a very nice gym but it would have been nice to have been somewhere in the gardens where you can enjoy the light and view - this is so minor as this is such a beautiful hotel.
