What can I say that I haven’t already said in previous reviews. It is hard to improve on perfection. If I could put forward one request to make this beautiful hotel even better, it would be to increase the offer in the superb Rivayat (Indian) restaurant. I know not everybody staying would eat there every evening, but I would. The food and presentation are wonderful but a couple or three main dishes more would keep me going most nights. Also, there are some good and quite exquisite Indian wines available which I’m sure would complement these creative dishes so well. I know this is a “1st world problem” but I have NOTHING else to suggest which would make this wonderful hotel better. As I have stated before it’s not just the location, (20 mins from city centre, 25 mins to the airport) or the magnificent grounds, the spacious and well-appointed pool rooms, (all 5* hotel have this!) more than all of that, it is the quality of the staff. It matters not what they do, its how they do it. And they do it so very well. From the always available management team (including Rohan the GM) right up to your ‘Housekeepers’ and your ‘Pool cleaners’ not forgetting the hotels chauffeurs, meet & greeters, concierge, (above and beyond) reception staff and last but by no means least the waiting staff. The politeness and professionalism are a credit to them, and the management team that trained them. So, thank you again for a truly relaxing stay (try the spa! OMG) I’m looking forward to seeing again in September.

Having to leave. This hotel is truly wonderful, as are the grounds and all the staff. If you are looking for a quite and relaxing stay with very good spa facilities and an out of this world Indian restaurant, chouse The Oberoi Marrakech, you wont go wrong.

One of the most beautiful hotels in Marrakech must visit! Everything was perfect: spacious rooms with attention to every detail, even for kids. They had child-sized bathrobes, slippers, a kids club, and a fun donkey ride with the famous Sugar and Brownie. The welcome was exceptional, with all staff greeting us warmly and gifting the kids small donkeys. The hotel manager, Mr. Raghun, personally checked in daily to ensure everything was perfect. Special thanks to Rizk at breakfast for his kindness, and to Essam and Mohsen, the friendly golf car drivers who made getting around so easy. The staff overall were incredibly warm and helpful. The Michelin-starred Indian restaurant was amazing, and the room A/C was so good we forgot how hot it was outside. Highly recommended – I’ll definitely return!

Gorgeous new property in a scenic setting - close enough to the city to do activities BUT trust me when I saw you won’t want to leave once you get here. Comfortable rooms, fabulous spa, warm pools and the food was varied and fabulous.

The breakfast buffet was diverse and delicious. The staff were not only helpful (they insisted to take my plate to my table for me while I continued to browse the selection) they informed us of and offered us local specialities including a local nut spread, tea, coffee and local breakfast breads. We were celebrating my birthday and they upgraded us to a villa with a private pool decorated with rose petals, balloons and gifts. So many gifts! The set menu at the indian restuarant was a culinary experience with lovely staff and beautiful (and tasty) food offerings. Additionally we booked a hammam experience at the spa. Again, we were treated like royalty. No detail was left unattended. Thank you very much to the two ladies that attended to us - it was a unique and indulgent experience! And to all the staff - thank you for my generous birthday gift. Every staff member we felt lucky to work with but a special mention for a few of them: Mamdouh Milad, Mahdi and Insaf were at the top of their game. Thank you so much for making our holiday to Marrakesh absolutely unforgettable! Extra special mention to Zakaria... he took care of us for the majority of our time at the Oberoi. His humour and intelligence were a delight to accompany our meals and leisurely cocktail hours. Perhaps next time we can challenge you to that card game! Literally nothing cloud have been better.

We have just returned from a 6 day trip to Marrakesh and we were lucky enough to have booked the Oberoi for our stay. As a travelling family of 5 we were taking the trip to celebrate an anniversary and my mother’s 75th birthday. In summary, Wow! What an amazing place to stay. Many other reviews have mentioned the quality of the property, being in a picturesque Olive garden, and the outstanding, understated luxury of the rooms and beautiful architecture of the main buildings. They were not wrong on this. Other reviews mention the outstanding quality of food. We ate in all of trestaurants, some a number of times and the Chef and his team does an amazing job. I could not fault any dish that was served. They were all excellent, with a special mention of the incredible Indian cuisine. Having travelled India extensively we can attest that it is second to none. The hotel is peaceful and tranquil (you would never tell that it was 90% capacity when we were there!), very conveniently located only a short shuttle or taxi from the medina, has an excellent kids club, huge main pool and other activities such as paddle and tennis. However, above all the excellence and grandeur by far the greatest achievement and memory you come away with is the amazing quality of the people who work there. Oberoi is generally outstanding but this resort is like Oberoi ++ when it comes to service and guest attentiveness. Always greeted with a smile and ‘hello’ from gardeners to waiters to room service. Nothing is too much trouble whether is arranging excursions, providing baby items we had run out of or making sure we celebrated properly with things like welcome flowers for my mother’s birthday. Absolutely out of this world and way above and beyond a ‘5 star’ experience. My mother felt she had not experienced such friendliness and thoughtful service in a long time.

Faultless. The staff, the facilities, the food, the attention to detail were utterly superb. We felt like we were treated like royalty for the entire time. It was my husband’s birthday and the staff had arranged for a bottle of champagne, cake, decorations and an upgrade with rose petals around the room and bathroom. Such a lovely surprise and we are so appreciative for the time, effort and creativity. We would highly recommend this hotel and all of it’s excursions. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff genuinely want to help and it comes from the heart.

The food was good, but it needed a bit of a flavor boost. It was slightly bland, which prevented it from being truly great. With a bit of seasoning and spice, I'm sure it could really shine. Overall, a good effort, but room for improvement

"My stay at The Oberoi Marrakech was exceptional in every way. The staff were outstanding, always going above and beyond to make us feel at home. There wasn't a single request they didn't fulfill with care and attention. The spa was incredible, the olive garden was breathtaking, and the complimentary bikes made exploring the vast 190,000 sqm property with its 3,500 olive trees an unforgettable experience. Breakfast, which was included, offered a great variety and was a perfect start to the day. It's the ideal destination for couples looking for relaxation and serenity.
