-The room furnishings and availability of requirements -the river view is relaxing and inspiring -The left(elevator) system is organized -The Centre is easily accessed by walking and the ferry -the bed matrix is comfortable and the windows blackouts is great for day sleep 😴

-When i arrived there was only one receptionist , she spent long time with one of the guest explaining trains and routes options till it was my turn to do check in!! -The basin is in the room, outside the toilet - the tea making stuff in the container looks not renewed for long time !

The reason why I decided to choose this hotel is because 1) has an elevator, 2) air conditioning, and 3) it’s location. We wanted to stay somewhere close to the Amsterdam Centraal because we were taking the train to Paris. Hotel was easy to get to via train from airport. Ferry from the centraal to hotel was quick and easy even in the rain with luggage. Hotel staff and property were amazing. Rooms were small but we were barely there so we were fine with it. The decor and record player in the room were neat to see. First time in Amsterdam and had only 24hours there. From our hotel we’re able to walk around most of Amsterdam and had a great time.

Even though it's across the water it's easy to get to. Buzzing vibe. Right on top of a nice restaurant. Cool decor in the room

Little bit expensive, and then they won't even give you a free bottle of water!

I booked this hotel for my parents 40th Wedding anniversary for a couple of nights! They loved the location! You are right next to the city without being in the middle of the city with the noise at night! They had a corner room which was beautiful views over the canel and the city from multiple angles. The staff very friendly. The ferry to and from the hotel was short and free! The food options at the hotels restaurant were good! Very clean! They even got a personalized note and some small gifts for their anniversary which was very a thoughtful and nice touch! My parents loved it and based on my parents recommendation we'll also stay here in the future! Thanks for a great experience!

The only thing was that it wasn't super clear if the minibar items were included or not! They might have just missed the info!

Ventilation should be better since the windows don't open. Even on the max setting It barely does anything. I want to feel the wind. No swimming pool. The Butcher restaurant tried to add a 10% service charge "because we are American." I've lived in Amsterdam for 10 years and this is the first time I have seen this, it was quite the shock. They removed it when I complained. This is Amsterdam, not Las Vegas, be sure to check your bill.

The Sir Adam Hotel was a quirky and fun hotel in an excellent location - an easy ferry ride across the water from the train station. While the rooms were small, there was enough room for our luggage and belongings. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. Our view looked out over a park - and was quiet. Having the music theme and a record player in the room was a fun touch in the decor. The bathroom and shower were quite nice. The hotel felt very security conscious - which we appreciated. Breakfast had many choices, and was very tasty food. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The wifi was available - although it was not secure. All in all, this was an excellent hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Their positive energy is contagious, and you leave the front desk feeling even better than when you arrived. And then there’s the room—an absolute dream for any music lover. The design is effortlessly cool, with guitars on the walls and a vinyl player stocked with records, adding a personal, nostalgic touch. And let’s talk about the bed—so ridiculously comfortable that I sleep like a baby every single night. Honestly, the only reason I’d ever stop coming here is if it were fully booked. The fact that one can find it only in Amsterdam!

Very quirky hotel, loved the lifts one disco and the other karaoke made it fun. The rooms are lovely very stylish, clean and the bed was so comfy. The vibe in the hotel was brilliant, the butcher restaurant served fantastic food and we ate there twice. Transport on the ferry boat was every 5 minutes we mwver had to wait very convenient. We did not go to the swing or club but we could see how popular these were as it always looked busy. Overall so happy with our stay we extended by one night due to out flight being cancelled and the staff were very accommodating- recommend you book this hotel

The staff will go the extra mile to make your stay fantastic. Clean and very modern all over. Super cool elevators, both technical and design. Breakfast is one of the best I've had at a hotel. The restaurant is well visited, so book a table to be sure not to have to wait to be seated. Amazing food. Ordering is made with QR code at the table. The ferries are a few minutes walk from the hotel and will get you over to the centrum in no time, free of charge, with departure every 5-6 minutes.

Really nothing to complain about. I don't even have a suggestion to make anything better.

We liked the sky view from the top bar, the rooms were nice and comfortable with their rock industrial style. We had three rooms, one of them was a deluxe room. It was the best one. The rooms were clean and the showers were fine but…

The standard rooms bathrooms were little. In one of them we had the feeling of showering in a cupboard… not a great idea to separate the shower and the sink actually. The restaurants were not offering great food (but this is quite common in Amsterdam)
