The location was good - not in the center but close, with a pub and supermarkets right in front. Easy access to the center and the train station by tram. The hotel bar was great, good cocktails that were above average. The staff was lovely and the free drinks in the room a nice extra. the building itself is very interesting and the decor and overall vibe was good.

We had a room with windows on two sides and it got insanely hot - the sun heated the room up very much and at 7am it was too hot too sleep. I don’t want to complain about the good weather and it’s not the hotels fault - they provided a ventilator - but if you can, ask for a room facing the back or not exposed east. Opening the window was t an option because if way quite noisy outside. Again, not the hotels fault but something to consider.

Just love Hoxton's style. Comfort, cleanliness, and freshness always top! Staff was helpful and thoughtful too. If you absolutely need to or like to stay in a city center, this isn't your hotel. However, if you love Amsterdam but needs some peace and quiet to rest, this is the best choice. Right by the water, well connected with public transport, and has nice cafe and super market right across the street. Super convenient. I also really liked their terrace and the food and drinks there. Staff is always super nice across the hotel, restaurant and bar at Hoxton. Congratulations on such a high quality place, always!!

My room was on the second floor facing the main street and has a view to the sea. It was nice though beware if you're sensitive to noise or needs to open the window - then I'd recommend asking the staff to give you a room not facing the street. It could be facing the back of the hotel which I imagine would be a little quiter.

The staff was very welcoming & Informative. We came here to celebrate my husband's birthday and on our arrival there was a bottle and a card waiting in our room for him ❤️. How thoughtful of them and really started off our stay feeling good. Our rooms were just like the pictures online. The kids loved their bunk bed and they have a curtain that separates the rooms for a lil privacy which the kids decided to use 😂. The restaurant downstairs their food is delicious. We only had dinner there once, but it was worth every penny. Rooms were cleaned daily and the fridge restocked which was nice. WIFI very strong No disturbances as the area iss very quite. 3min walk to the tram which takes you straight into Amsterdam Centraal 7 or 26. We would definitely book here again

Location is lovely, and a great area for dogs. It‘s about 20-35 minutes from Amsterdam Centraal, depending on what type of transport one chooses - on good weather it makes for a great walk. Bed was comfortable and the AC worked great, keeping a pleasant temperature in the room. Tea and water in the room were replenished. I travel with my small size adult dogs and one of the things I liked the most is the fact that a lot of the staff loves dogs, you can see it in their care and attention for them. Most of the staff is friendly and helpful. The dogs received a small present at check-in and, for the duration of our stay, we had a dog bed in the room which was very comfortable and my dogs loved sleeping on it!

Room was rather small, with a very small window and no closet space to put things away. One person from the breakfast staff was noticeably less helpful and less friendly than the others, which was painfully obvious in contrast with the others.

Totally loved our stay at the Hoxton! One of the coolest hotels we’ve stayed in. Clever design. Staff very helpful, beds so comfortable. Free access to bike a bonus. Just outstanding de the old town in a quiet neighbourhood. Supermarket nearby along with restaurants. Tram stop moments away. Food in the hotel restaurant also excellent. Highly recommend and we will return someday for sure!

Loved everything about our stay - welcoming and friendly staff, beautiful hotel (the historic building is stunning and our bedroom was so stylish) and really liked the area too. Felt good being out of the centre but there are a couple of trams just nearby so can you zip everywhere in record time. The outside terrace was lovely in the sunshine and nice touch having bikes to hire. We rode to Broek in Waterland and highly recommend. Definitely going back to this hotel - it’s a gem!

It was all fab - there was nothing we disliked. The comments about housekeeping on here are wrong - they asked us if we’d like our room cleaned so it’s untrue to say that they are not done!

Absolutely amazing stay. By far our favourite hotel in Amsterdam and we’ve stayed in many as really love the city. The room was huge and very comfortable, the bed was very good. The hotel has a great design, with attention to detail. We travelled with a dog and the dog kit was lovely, again with attention to every detail (including calming biscuits, toys and dog soap). The staff was super friendly and nice (when we had to wait we were given free drinks from the bar). The location is just three tram stops from Amsterdam Centraal, very lovely and quite area with plenty of shops and useful places nearby, including areas where we could walk our dog

Absolutely nothing! The building is old with a real character, so there are a few steps to climb to get inside. Wasn’t a problem for us, but if it is the stuff is super friendly and ready to help with the luggage if needed

A very stylish hotel with excellent attention to details. The room was big but cozy! I arrived early so that the room wasn't ready but the personnel promised to call me immediately the room was available and they did. I felt seen! The location is a bit outside of the city centre but the tram line from Centraal was very easy and fast.

The breakfast buffet was quite mediocre and could use more people working, now nobody had the time to tidy the tables. If it wasn't included in the room rate I'd probably skip it and have a breakfast in a cafe. The temperature in the room could't be adjusted and I found it just a bit too warm.

I loved my stay at this hotel. The building itself is beautiful, and the design inside is just as impressive.. stylish, full of character, and definitely not your typical, generic hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful the entire time. My room was super comfortable and had everything I needed. It just felt like a place that was really well taken care of. The location was good too; easy to get to by public transportation. And the breakfast buffet was excellent! Overall, a really lovely hotel with a great vibe. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for something a bit more special than the usual hotel stay.

Super friendly staff, beautiful building, quiet, felt safe, amazing food. Lovely outdoor terrace. Will stay again for sure.

Only issue was that we stayed on the very top floor and the lift just went to the 4th floor.
