Loved the Hotel, Better than staying at my Mothers, It's a Better beer at the Grouse lol, Was there for 8 days, I had a car, but left in on the hotel carpark most of the time, Bus stop out side the hotel door, $4 into Christchurch Transit centre, From there you can get to anywhere.

Room was comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great location, was a bit worried about noise from the bar but the double glazing was great and the bar didn't stay open really late.

Us Wellingtonians found it quite hot overnight, fan was great but A/C would be nice.

It has maintained the charm of an old pub but with modern, comfortable facilities.

It's minor, but if had to pick on anything breakfast wasn't till 10.00 which was a bit late given I had a meeting at 10.30. There are other options in the village and I was offered coffee.

Every Thing, I Liked where the Grouse Hotel was (Lincoln, great little town, Bus stop right outside the door, jump on to Christchurch Central, from there you can get a bus to anywhere you want.

I had to Leave, when holiday finest.

Convenient location for a nearby event. Although above a pub there was very little noise disturbance in the room.

Check in was at the busy downstairs bar. I arrived on a Friday night so it was quite busy and a bit overwhelming after a long drive. But not a major.

Highly recommended. Very quiet even with live music and the rugby in the bar. extended our stay to three nights bc we were so comfortable. Meals are recommended and the staff treat you like a guest in their own home. Massive thank you Brooke and Noah ❤️

Room was spacious and comfortable, used restaurant room service for a meal or 2 which was handy following an early morning flight. Food was reasonably priced and plentiful.

A single fan in the room when the weather was 30 plus degrees a couple of days during my stay wasn't really sufficient.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was comfortable, and the shower was excellent.

The only minor issue was the need to carry bags some distance from the hotel carpark. However, there was a public carpark close to the entrance that could be used for the purpose.

Regular making beds and restocking tea/coffee supplies. Was a bit poor.

Loved the so big bed. Liked the quiet, non-disturbing time we had. Glad for the jug & coffee facilities. Awesome shower, water was great pressure & plenty of hot water.

Nothing came to mind.
