I booked a queen room unit that had all the necessary facilities for cooking, along with a private bathroom. I brought my parents from India, and they felt at home every time we returned to the motel. The staff, especially Vivian (a special thanks to her), were very sweet. Since mine was a 2-week stay, I was initially concerned about the housekeeping, but they exceeded my expectations. They cleaned the unit almost every day and restocked everything promptly whenever it ran out. Overall, both my parents and I had a wonderful experience here. I highly recommend this place, and I will definitely choose this accommodation again in the future. 😇😇 P.S.: They also offered laundry services at a very nominal rate. And Warehouse was right opposite to the motel making our purchases easier. Our stay was a complete package, and we truly had a great time. 😇

It was a spacious room and had a fully equipped kitchen,, sitting area and bathroom. The location was good, on a bus route and 2 cafes close by. There was a major shopping street a few blocks away with lots of restaurants and a shopping mall. The staff were friendly and helpful.

I would have liked a few more electrical outlets especially near a mirror for drying my hair. In the kitchen I had to unplug something and plug something else in. The TV didn't have good reception and when it rained it got worse with the picture breaking up.

I was not going to arrive until after 8.30pm, on arrival they had left a light and heater on in the motel room for me, it was a very thoughtful gesture and greatly appreciated. Although this motel is the slightly worn, it was spacious and clean. With an attractive main room housing an extremely comfy and clean bed/bedding, suitably equipped bathroom and kitchen. Plenty of heaters, if required, in wardrobe. Sky tv was also unexpected.

My only fault, which is purely due to my personal preference, is that they only had sachets of chia tea and I would have liked to have had English breakfast tea.

Host Vivian and her husband were very gracious and helped us in every aspect to make our 7 nites' stay very comfortable. The accommodation is spacious, spotless clean and has everything necessary in making it our Home away from Home. Location is great, with a 1 minute walk to the bus stop, a large supermarket and also.very near a pharmacy, and major shops for food and all sundries . We highly recommend Classique Lodge to everyone!

Everything was perfect.

Host friendly & accommodating. Beds comfortable, spacious living room, bathroom clean. Kitchen needs updated, was suitable for our needs. Bed comfortable Restaurant & bar in walking distance. The Warehouse small shopping centre across the road. Classique Lodge Motel is good value for money, would be happy to stay agin when visiting Christchurch in the near future.

Kitchen needs updated. Rooms decor needs updated. Insufficient power source through out the rooms. I do hope these upgrades are taken seriously into consideration as it would make this motel a gem.

Very good price. The kitchen is small but has everything you need if you want to cook for yourself. The bathroom is small but also has everything you need. I like the hot shower water and the ceiling heater. There is an iron & board in the cupboard. Sorry, I forgot to take a photo. :) Thanks for turning on the heater. We feel warm when we arrive on a cold night.

It was perfect for my family of 3. Close to the train station for our arrival on the Tranz Alpine train. Also close enough to our commute to the airport the following day. Great value for money. The most friendly staff. Even a txt message reminder of daylight savings on the evening of our stay. Highly recommend.

A few noises of traffic at night. Nothing major. But still slept right through the night. So did my 6 year old. Bonus.

Friendly helpfull staff.Room service was good. Rubbish bin got cleaned out every day. Clean towels every morning. Had everything we needed. Clean and warm room. Definitely stay there again.

Only thing was the traffic in Blenheim road. Made it difficult getting out. Lodge sign wasn't visible at night. Need a better sign

Upon booking it said free parking was available, we had 2 cars which there was only parking for 1 small vehicle and ‘free street parking’ down the next block - I think it should be stated before booking that only space for 1 small car

The motel was easy to find and close to town. The room was warm, cosy and comfortable. The host was lovely and very accommodating. Perfect place for us staying overnight.

Parking was a little difficult as we were travelling in a ute but the host found a car park for us to use overnight still in the motel complex which was awesome. It wouldn't be an issue if travelling in a car.
