Our room was on the 3rd floor, and they have a lift. I read reviews on here about parking being tight, but we didn't find that as a problem. We didn't hear any traffic noise at all. Our room was large and roomy, and the bathroom was great with 2 different shower heads. There were wrapped toothbrushes and shower caps for you to have. The bed was super comfortable. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone. There was a Westfield's shopping centre just down the road (walking distance). There was no iron or board in the room. They will bring one to you, which was good. We stayed 2 nights and wished it was longer.

Very convenient location to easily visit family and friends across the greater Christchurch region plus all the local tourist spots. Very handy (and appreciated) having a cafe located in the foyer who made amazing coffees!! And dining/grocery options were all within walk distance. The hotel itself was warm, comfortable and quiet. The staff were amazing, super helpful and always accommodating to any request. Great, comfortable stay!!

If I had to find a negative it would have been the lighting in our particular suite. Lamps/bedside reading lights would have been handy.

I loved the amenities, the kind helpful staff (particularly the older gentlemen who often worked out in the carpark and the lovely receptionist lady), how tidy it was and how quiet the rooms were

The carparking availability. Not so much of a dislike but more of a suggestion, I think It would've been very helpful to have a booklet that explained all the check in and out times, what number to call reception and phone costs, the house rules (I.e cooking, alarms, where to assemble in case of a fire) off site carparking options and food and leisure options nearby, I feel this would be of extreme help to those who are visiting christchurch and may not know the area well.

The room is spacious and comfy. It is quite modern and clean. The beds and pillows are comfy. The TV also works really well. The lift is handy when needed, but there's also stairs too. The receptionist was also very professional and helpful. The Vietnamese cafe on the first floor also is quite decent. Having a free carpark also is quite convenient. The location is also quite convenient with shops and restaurants around

A bit nitpicky, I guess, but in the one bedroom apartment, we couldn't find a heater for the bedroom. There's a heat pump in the living room, though, so we could open the bedroom door to let the warmth in, and there's a spare blanket too. But it would be nice even if there's a small oil heater there, so we can close the door and have more privacy.

It was clean and comfortable, and we were given a free upgrade to a bigger , 2 bedroom unit on the top floor, which had nice views over the rooftops. Great kitchenette. Bed was comfortable. Lovely shower and beautiful toiletries. Cafe was good. Handy location, lots of eateries and on good bus route if you didn't have a car.

Quite a bit of road noise and noise from the air-conditioning units on the roof next door. The bedroom was small so became quite hot as we couldn't have window open due to noise, we therefore had to leave the door open to the lounge where the air conditioner was.

The room was comfortable, quiet & exceptionally clean. Nice modern kitchenette & bathroom with great water pressure.

The Bathroom fan was a bit noisy & came on automatically with the light switch as it would having no windows in the bathroom. The room was very clean it’s a pity the reception area was not to the same standard of cleanliness. There was dust on the floor & cobwebs under the chairs, the rug also needed a good clean & vacuum. The plants needed watering some were limp & had dead leaves. The fish tank had a few large fish in it but no stones, plants or anything just the poor fish swimming around :(

The staff were very welcoming and accommodating, especially when my flight was delayed and I ended up not being able to arrive for my first night's stay. The accommodation itself was beautiful, more like an apartment than a hotel room! Had everything you could need and more! Everything looked brand new and super clean, bathroom was amazing and amazing rain shower, bedrooms were great with very soft beds and pillows. The kitchen area provided all.anemitiea you could require and lovely lounge area too with netflix installed on the TV which helped greatly with the jetlag!!

I want to express my gratitude for the exceptional service provided by the staff during my stay. The gentleman who assisted me during check-in was extremely helpful and attentive. Although my room fridge was missing milk, the night staff promptly brought six packs to my room, going above and beyond to ensure my comfort. Not only did he provide excellent service, but he also offered valuable recommendations for Christchurch attractions and helped me with my room TV, demonstrating patience and professionalism throughout. Even during my early morning checkout, around 4 a.m., the reception gentleman graciously assisted me, despite it being outside of regular hours. I truly appreciate his dedication and hospitality, making my stay more enjoyable. A big thank you to the reception gentlemen for his outstanding service.

I noticed that the toilet paper had been used before my check-in, which made me feel quite uncomfortable.

Respectful and polite receptionist, clean and spacious rooms. Has access to TV entertainment . Enjoyed our one night stay. Clean and tidy 😊

I made the mistake of thinking I booked a room with 2 double beds in one room by looking at the photos and when we got there the bed was in a different room . Needed to be in one room with my toddler and baby. My mistake for not asking to change rooms. Nothing about disliking but a technical problem for me.

We made our own breakfast. However, we had lunch at the on-site cafe, Ngon Ngon, which had excellent food and service. We thank the welcoming, courteous and friendly staff who were very helpful.

Being elderly, a handrail in the shower would be appreciated. We think all showers should have handrails. As the extractor hood over the stove protrudes out it is easy to hit one's head when passing or using the cooking space. I did so a few times. That said, we were impressed by the high quality and solidity of the building, furnishing and fittings.
