A warm welcome, the staff made me feel like I was at home. The service and housekeeping was amazing. Free Nexflix, free milk. I stayed for 10 days, and not a single day I had to ask for what I needed because it was already there. Vic (The manager) was great, understanding and so were all the other staff. If you guys are coming to CHCH, trust me choose this place, the staff and the rooms won't disappoint! Once again highly recommend this place to all... Thanks! Vita Nova ! Love you guys!

To be honest, nothing! My stay was very comfortable. The place is near a lot of shops and near from city center. Liked every day of my stay.

Very friendly staff. English second language. Took me to my room, which I appreciated. Clearly hard- working couple. Go the extra distance to ensure guests are comfortable. Modern, very clean, quiet unit. Well equipped. Great value for money . Good selection on tv. Car park easy. I would stay again and definitely recommend this place. Location close to hospital.. Wished I had stayed there every time I went up to chch for my course. More superior than other motels nearby!! Well done, and thank you for your hospitality.

Perhaps an alarm clock. Can't always relay on the cellphone for alarms. Apart from that, nothing.

I like the location, because the location was not only visible and easy to find just beside the road, but also it was very convenient to where I want to go. The shoppings and other services were close by and just easy to walk to and fro. Also, I like the room, it was clean and very comfortable and inclusive by providing a smoking area for smokers with a table and chairs, were a guest of two can have a cuppa tea or alcohol, etc... My family loved it. The kitchen, bath, living room, internet and others were lovely and comfortable.

Very clean and well presented. We requested a quieter room away from the road and this was honoured. Although on the main road, the room was quiet. Decor has been nicely painted and upgraded. The welcome by those on the desk was very friendly and even the offer to take our suitcases up the stairs to our room . Although we declined, the offer was appreciated.

A lot of external stairs for carrying large suitcases/bags and even inside the units have stairs to the bedroom. Bedrooms are small.

Just want to thank the lovely family who manage the Vita Nova Motel for a great stay. We landed at midnight and we were able to arrange a late checkin. The unit was really clean, bed was so comfortable, Netflix to chill out at night, had all the necessary amenities and great service. Daily house keeping was excellent, she was thorough and showed great attention to detail. Laundry facilities were useful. Location was great, central to everything. Would definitely stay again. Thanks again.

Well-appointed unit where space is used cleverly. Clean tidy rooms, comfortable beds, no complaints! Would definitely stay again. The host was friendly and actually escorted us to our room to ensure we would be happy with it. This was a nice touch and rare these days. Most recently, I've been given instructions to find our toom and left to it, so I appreciated the extra effort at this motel.

I booked a two bedroom, one bath apartment for three of us. The picture shown included upstairs bedroom loft, bed downstairs apart from living area, large bathroom! When we walked in, the size was REALLY small! Too small for three of us. When I spoke to the owner about it, she said I booked the “compact” unit😲 She would have moved us but there was no availability for the regular “apartment”. She was very kind and wanted to help us out but she was booked. If you book here, make sure you book the right room. There is an apartment, a compact unit, and a regular one bed room.

Everything was clean and tidy, friendly and easy check in, perfect for our weekend requirements. While the particular room we had was quite compact for 4, it was exactly as we booked and had everything we needed.

A wee bit noisy on the first night (Friday) but unsure if it was other guests or neighbours. But that's always a possibility staying in a motel so we weren't too worried

Located along Riccarton Road, the property is easy to find and has off-street parking. The room was very quiet and traffic noise is not an issue. The room was clean and comfortable.

There is nothing the property managers can do but noise from neighbouring rooms is an issue, especially if they decide to sit outside and chat loudly in the early morning hours. Seemed odd that there is a hotplate in the room, but no cooking equipment.

I really enjoyed my stay at Vita Nova Motel. The room was clean and tidy, and the location is great—nice and close to town. I really appreciated being able to park my car off-street, which made things easy. The guy at reception was super friendly and flexible about check-out time, which I was really grateful for. Would definitely stay again!
