I was greeted by a very friendly Motel owner. Check-in was a breeze. My room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The room also had all of the facilities that you would expect from a Motel. It was very reasonably priced and I felt safe. It was right across the road from a major mall, which was handy. When checking out, the owner offered that I could leave my car in their car park if I wanted to go across the road to do any shopping. I appreciated that. I would most definitely stay here again and am happy to recommend to others.

Location was perfect, near the airport and right opposite riccarton mall. Round the corner is riccarton saturday market. Owner was a really friendly man too, gives a pack of milk upon check in. Bed had heaters and the in room cooking facilities had everything we required to make a simple meal.

The shower heater ia a bit tricky, had cool water most of the time and short bursts of scalding water. Stayed on two different occasions and were given different rooms each time. Both rooms' showers had this same issue. Other than that, perfect stay!

The property Manager went beyond expectations. He was so friendly helpful and kind. Location was perfect across from Riccarton Mall. Thought it might be noisy but it wasn't. The beds were comfy.

We were there 7 nights and the room was not vacuumed in that time. They changed the towels, took out the rubbish and refilled the tea. They only changed our sheets when we asked. The place is a little tired and needs some TLC inside and outside.

The room was immaculate and the kitchen well stocked with teas, coffee, even filter coffee. The manager couldn't have been kinder and we were given a carton of milk on arrival as we didn't check in until very late. He held onto our luggage the following day and told us the best way to return to the airport later that day. The bed was large and comfortable, and the TV an added bonus. You can also make calls free from the room and there is a discount code applicable with certain cab companies. There was a really comprehensive information folder. Highly recommend

The motel owner went out of his way to reassure me all would be well If my train was held up (and it was). He said he would wait up for me. Gave me an upgrade and could not have been kinder with assistance. I'm getting on in years and I so much appreciated the kindness.

It could have been a little warmer in the room. But sorted that once the heater was cranked up.

The team at Deans Bush are warm, welcoming and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. They give great advice when asked. The location is exceptional, with easy access to the mall and supermarket, and buses (if needed). The rooms are warm and comfortable. It's great value for money and we'd happily stay there again.

The owner was super friendly and very helpful. It was great that my family member was able to sign in and use the carpark when visiting. The room was very clean and tidy and was exactly what was needed for my stay. My room had everything i needed for my stay there. Will definitely stay again when visiting Christchurch

We stayed here while sorting out a flat for my uni student son. We had to extend our stay as it took longer than expected. The motel was very accommodating in extending our stay. The manager Song was very helpful. We will stay here again when we are back in Christchurch. The location opposite Riccarton Mall is also handy.

Location was great due to being across the road from Riccarton Mall, the room was good and warm. The cleanliness of the room was to a great speck. The staff was so helpful and friendly and have good knowledge of the area and eateries

When booking, just to be advised if the room is on the upper level and whether there is a lift. It would be helpful to know if you are elderly.

Great location. Clean with a comfy bed and in a great location with soooo many great Asian food places within walking distance. The laundry is well priced and the drier they have is probably one of the best (and quickest) I have encountered at a motel ever! The chap at the front desk is a total delight

Just a heads up that room 7 has a staff smoking area at the back and a public smoking area at the front so ciggy smoke can permeate the room if you don't shut your windows.
