Jan was an excellent host. Friendly and helpful with information about the area. The rooms were a lovely size and the breakfast provided was great, lots of choice and fresh. The garden area around the property gives great privacy and there was no noise from the road at the front. The off road parking space was really helpful. Nice and easy to walk into the centre of Christchurch and the beautiful botanical gardens are just a stone's throw away. We had a great stay!

A peaceful location in easy reach of Christchurch walking through Hagley Park. Jan is a treasure, very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was perfect - separate bedroom from the living area, very clean and very comfortable. We stayed for two nights after 26 hours of traveling and it was the perfect place to be.

Jan was an excellent host with a great knowledge of what to do in Christchurch. She recommended the Botanical Gardens and Mona Vale Gardens which were just lovely. DuxDine restaurant was only 7 minutes walk and we dined there 3 times. The older style accomodation was cosy and comfortable with the bonus of a separate sitting room. About 15 minutes from both the airport and city central, we stayed there on our arrival in NZ and departure 3 weeks later.

Lovely English style, beautifully furnished cottage with a very comfortabel bed. Table is already set for breakfast with good selection of tea, coffee, toast, jam, joghurt, etc ready to be used at your own convenience. Jan is a wonderful host and you can feel she puts a lot of love and care into her cottage in order for guests to feel at home. The location is walking distance away from a large choice of restaurants and the park. Also short ride with public transport to downtown Christchurch.

Wonderful, quiet neighborhood only a 20 minute walk from the CBD. Great restaurants nearby and lots to see in the city. Host was very gracious and helped us with a few logistical issues of ending a 55 day tour of NZ.

Lovely little place set in beautiful garden. The two rooms are spacious and well equipped. It's about half an hour walk to the town entre, but a nice walk through the park. Jan was an excellent host and very helpful. The bed was very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.

The only minor issue has been that the traffic on the road (even though it's a residential street) is fairly fast and hence a bit loud.

This is a great place to base yourself for a stay in Christchurch. For a B & B you have a lot of privacy and it is quite roomy. I would happily stay here again.

Perfect location, great dining recommendation, plenty of breakfast items and fresh fruit. Jan was lovely and we would highly recommend the property.

Having breakfast was brilliant for me and my partner not to rush around looking for somewhere to have breakfast… we were attending a wedding within walking distance of the accommodation, The accommodation had a personal touch which we loved better than an hotel.
