We had a 1 bedroom unit and it was larger than I anticipated. The location was good near the park and walkable to Riccarton for food shopping, places to eat and the mall. We took the 130 bus back and it stopped right outside the motel. Place was clean and the staff helpful.

No outside seating. Despite having a kitchen we only had an electric frypan and a microwave it would have been handy to have a two burner stove top. Also would have been good to have more than two each of the cutlery and crockery.

I slept really well in my bed, and I normally have difficulty getting to sleep in beds that aren't my own. The location was excellent; just around the corner from Riccarton Road, just across the road from Hadley Park, and just a couple minutes drive to Christchurch City Centre, VERY convenient! They have laundry facilities too, available between 7:30am and 9pm. Shower pressure was excellent, and there was plenty of towels, The free Wi-Fi was excellent, and the price of the stay was good value.

The view was nothing to write home about, just the parking lot and other buildings of the hotel, although to be fair I was ground floor. Nothing really else I can think of to criticize about my stay.

Cleanliness of the room, staff, value for money, water pressure in the shower and location were all superb. Really quiet too.

This is the second time staying and we were given Room 212 (I think it was). The room directly at the top of the stairs. Outside this room for all guests is lighting for the stairs. Light that gets into the room in and around the black out curtains - a lot. First world problems I know and I hesitate mentioning it, but I hope this is seen as constructive criticism when I also provide a solution of maybe as a thoughtful gesture, this property could allocate eye masks to guests staying in this room.

All staff were absolutely amazing and so helpful. A "Do Not Disturb" sign for the door would've been good.

The parking situation was suboptimal. Two nights in a row they were parking spaces that were inaccessible due to idiots parking very large vehicles across two spaces, and a motorbike taking an entire car space. WTF? The ability to park a hire car off the street was one of the reasons I selected Towers on the Park. This made things very difficult I'm going to have to reconsider whether I would book again because of this.

The rooms where spacious and clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay!

When I booked my room on booking all the images of the rooms are pretty much the image of the executive room (I didn’t know this until I checked after) but that’s not the actual room you are booking or will get upon arrival - they really need to sort this as I turned up thinking I’d booked a nice big room but in fact it was a smaller one. Kinda like false advertising. I did mention this to the guy at reception and he very kindly gave me the room I thought I had booked based on the images. Really appreciative of this. He was aware of this as said it shall be changed.

The space, the kitchenette, the spa bath, the location

We weren't able to open our curtains for privacy because the curtains in the bathroom, toilet and dining area didn't have netting. Had to close the curtains and turn the lights on in dining area. Advised we could leave our bags in the main entrance foyer, which seemed a bit risky for us - but was okay?

Staff were very friendly on arrival, we had a trailer on and they went above and beyond to help us with parking spots. My husband also forgot his greenstone necklace and the staff were very helpful with finding it and making sure they keep a hold of it till we can get back to pick it up.

A bit of noise coming into the room from outside, either from people walking up and down stairs or the road but nothing too bad.

We like the location; it is handy to all the things and places we need to go to when we are in Christchurch. They have a very friendly crew of cleaners.

Some of the lights were not working and neither was the heated towel rail. The light from the traffic lights is very bright and you have to shut the bathroom door to keep the room dark. You get a lot of noise from the traffic too.

The location in relation to my meeting as well as to the town was great. It was easy to access restaurants and other sites in Riccarton. The room was very comfortable and the heating worked very well. I felt safe as a tourist travelling for work alone.

There was only one thing I did not like. Due to flights landing much later than 9pm, the accommodation charged a fee of NZD 150. I expected that there would be someone available to check me in and that was what the additional fee was for, however there was just a key placed under the mat and a letter left on the reception door.

Rooms were very clean and comfortable and great location for the hospital. They were very accommodating for us to be able to leave car there for as long as needed

The room we were in had the bathroom window facing to car park and other rooms unfortunately there is no window covering so when in the bathroom everyone can see everything. The window was a bobbled pane of glass but when you had a light on you could see everything.
