Great location as it’s right across the street from the mall, 24 hour Maccas and loads of nice restaurants. Arrived at a later time when reception was closed and came into a beautiful tidy room with the heat pump on low to warm up the room on a very chilly night. Great overall restrictions on noise which pretty much every other room followed. Loads of tv channels with a medium sized tv. Bed was very comfy and had heated blankets! Staff were friendly and welcoming. The parking was easy and was downstairs right outside the room. The bathroom was very clean and amazing shower. A very affordable choice for what you get. Will stay again!

A larger Tv and maybe a bigger bin but other than that it was great!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The unit was very clean. There was plenty of parking available both times we visited. The location, over the road from McDonalds and Riccarton Mall was perfect. We were close to a lot of restaurants and loved Joyful for excellent Chinese food and Drexels for breakfast. We had a lovely morning at Riccarton House with the a superb guided tour followed by a walk through Christchurch Botanic Gardens.

The beds are quite narrow and there's not really a lot of space for suitcases but the rooms are priced accordingly so we were glad to stay there twice, once at the beginning of our holiday and once at the end.

The Motel is very well located, just in from of Westfield Riccarton and near to Bus Stops. The room had everything we need; the kitchenette is very convenient. The Staff is very kind, friendly and helpful. It offers the laundry service at a reasonable rate.

The room could be bigger for three persons. We would like to get the beds done every day but that was not the case. The Conditioned Air System of our room requires maintenance. The shower is not properly isolated so after the shower, the bathroom floor gets wet.

We checked in quite late due to road closures caused by the weather, but Bob made the process incredibly easy. He ensured everything was ready for us, and walking into a warm, welcoming room after a long day was just what we needed. The room was spotless, and the bed was so comfortable, we had the best sleep! Bob was very friendly and accommodating. We’ll definitely be coming back. Thanks again, Bob!

Always enjoy my stay. Good accommodations for the price and convenient to the locations I need to be in for work

No much to say here, other then personal preference and just that I don't generally sleep well when not in my own bed. Would just say that when sleeping, body temp is hard to manage due to the duvet, but not a major as most places i've stayed have similar issues for me.

Everything about the unit was great spacious and warm. Everything i needed was supplied. Also fantastic location straight across the road from the mall and offsite parking is a bonus. I will definitely stay here again.

My only criticism would be the 2 beds pushed together and I could feel the gap in the middle of the bed. It could do with something over the top of that gap for padding.

Close to supermarket and restaurants

We almost missed our train to Greymouth. The reception staff at the motel made a taxi booking for us the night before we were due to travel. They assured us that the taxi would arrive and not to worry. But the taxi did not arrive. Our train departed at 8.15am but reception did not open until 8.00am. We had no way of resolving this problem ourselves.

Close to mall, modern and friendly staff

The only thing I really didn't like was that there was no saftey latch on a window. We were in a two bedroom apartment on the second floor and my young son kept looking out the window/opening it, to my surprise there was no window safely latch, a child could easily fall out and as we were on the second floor it was just not ideal, they also have a rubbish bin close to a child could easily get them self up and out the window. ( I did try to upload some photos to give an example of how wide the window opens and the rubbish bin right next to it but it won't let me) The second thing was not a major but when we got to our room there was what appeared to be a used tissue kind of tucked into the side of the couch which did put us off a bit.

A great place and location to stay. I stayed in Room 9 (upstair) which is awesome and quit. I hardly hear any traffic in front of this accommodation. The bed is so comfy installed with an electric blanket. A well equipped little kitchen and the bathroom is so clean with a spa! Get the bubble soap from the Body Shop across the road and soaking in a nice hot tub is a pain relieve after a long flight. Opposite a big mall and bus stops are just across the road that will take you everywhere! Very friendly staff and helpful.

This property excels in every category, from the staff to the facilities to the cleanliness to the comfort to the value to the location. The location is very good, across from the mall and in walking distance to many restaurants of every ethnicity. The room is clean, comfortable and well organized with everything I needed. Really exceptional.
