location was good , close to a great Thai restaurant and Thai masseurs also. Air con in each room they worked and smelt fresh and clean. The property presents well and is well maintained

lighting could be improved. but that is a common problem with motels and was no worse than most motels. need international switchboard charging switch board/ usb power supply or induction charging lamp for cell phones That is an easy fix once host settles in.

The location was great for a walk to Hagley Park and local shops, restaurants. The hosts were very welcoming. The room was just right for my partner and myself. The unit was very clean, tidy and a good size for our three-night stay. The bathroom was really spacious too. We would highly recommend!

Extremely comfortable and well equipped including smart TV with Netflix included. Wanted for nothing in terms of cooking utensils (microwave/fridge - not full kitchen). Great proximity to lots of highly rated food choices to the west of Hagley park but still close enough to walk to the city centre or lots of bus choices on Riccarton Road including to and from the airport.

Although there were good block out curtains, my room had several carpark spots immediately adjacent so I couldn't leave curtains open at all for privacy reasons - room No 3. I don't think other rooms would have this issue.

This is a very clean and comfortable motel that is a short walk from the Christchurch CBD and gardens. The room was spacious and Karen did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. We stayed twice during our trip around NZ south island.

This was our first stop when landing in NZ and we did not look anywhere else when returning to Christchurch for our flight to Auckland. Loved our breakfast patio, the hosts were great and location near park was ideal. Highly recommended.

Where to start! The Owners were so lovely! They bent over backwards for me this weekend it was amazing!

Nothing we didn't like.

This place had everything, even a washing facility available 24/7 which was our bonus. You wouldn't think it's located off a busy main road, surrounded in everything we needed.

Worrying about the alarm potentially going off from the bathroom steam.

Spotlessly clean. Incredibly comfortable bed! Great location. Close to railway and botanical gardens. Owners and staff are amazing. Felt right at home. Room cleaning every day. We just could not be happier for having found Roma on Riccarton .

I used to live Riccaton Road as long as traveling to Christchurch. This hotel is above my imagination. Especially convenient location and great room suites for a family. Mark and his team’s service made our accommodations cozy and tidy everyday. Strongly recommended Roma Riccaton.
