Our stay at King's of riccarton motel was very comfortable. We traveled from Ireland to visit family and booked this motel because of location close to family living in the area. Shopping mall across the road was a bonus and public transport right outside. We felt safe at all times and any questions or requests we had were dealt with immediately in a friendly manner. I would recommend this motel

The service was very good and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is wonderful; it's not only close to the shopping mall and downtown, but also close to a wee park. We thoroughly enjoyed the trees and birds outside our window. It was reasonably clean and comfortable.

The fridge needed a bit more clean. The electric blanket was not working well in the bed. May need some improvement.

Breakfast was excellent. Location was excellent as close to mall and other shops. Includes public buses also.

Staff coming in the room and we were not aware or told about this. Came when we were out. Just would like communication when arriving about this. As I know staff have a job to do. Couldn't sort apps because issues when signing in.

Staff had forgotten to provide any towels, face cloths, bath mat, hand towels or any tea towels/dishcloths. Also the provided shampoo/conditioner etc were not refreshed, had to use leftover stuff from half bottles from previous guest(s).

This is a great location for using the buses into town and easy to get to from the airport. Comfortable bed and powerful shower, friendly staff and good to have a washing machine and dryer I could use. Room at the back of the motel had lovely view of Riccarton Bush.

I was there for a month and I was quite surprised that they only did one full clean during the time, although they said I could ask for more.

I was staying here for 4 nights for a Conference at University Canterbury. I was greatly benefited with the location of this Motel. everything you need (supermarket, fast food restaurants, bus stops, restaurants square) mostly is walking distance. Uber can just find the location of the motel easily. The facilities are just enough if you are needed room equipped with everyday essentials, cleanliness is top notch and the staffs are very helpful

Probably one minor thing was the blanket not really comfortable but I was staying during summer time so it didn’t bother me that much.

I have stayed here multiple times, and it's a very convenient place with a great location, just a short distance from Riccarton Mall. The Managers are excellent to deal with. The facilities are spotless and tidy. Beds are lovely and comfortable.

Bedroom was very quiet and comfortable. Daily cleaning was very good. Room was always serviced to a high standard overall very happy with my stay there.

Sofa was not comfortable at all. Parking was an issue for the last night I am guessing for the Foo Fighters. Think there are 10 units and 9 parks for it.

Fabulous location to shopping beign only a 3 min walk to the Riccarton Mall. Its is on a main route for buses, a short ride into the city center and you can go anywhere from there. Very central to travel anywhere in the city by car. Friendly staff and very nice, good speed wifi and clean room.
