Check-in: we arrived after the office was closed and they have made provisions for us to enter the room. The rooms were clean and neat. Basically, we arrived, unloaded, showered, slept, and checked out early morning before the office was open again so literally a stop-and-go stay which suited our needs perfectly. We were travelling with a pet which the property allowed to stay over with us which was a huge bonus. Also enjoyed the filter coffee supplied.

We were in and out so no complaints as it suited our needs perfectly.

This was an excellent stay right from when we arrived to a lovely warm room as staff had turned the heater on. Perfect location and friendly, helpful staff. Room was great. Real milk (x2) and lots of hot chocolates. Locking bathroom door and extra toilet paper, big soft towels and a dark blue face cloth. Shower pressure was awesome and a great extraction fan and a window which kept the decent sized mirror fog free and no condensation. Comfy bed with a choice of soft and firm pillows and plugs on both sides. It's the little things that really count and this place ticked all the boxes. Definitely stay here again...thank you 🙂

The beds were comfy and the layout is good, with heating an all rooms. Nice little kitchenette with everything you need. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Good location.

Bathroom is outdated, but clean and functional. There was a spiderweb in the room, looked to have been there for a while, but luckily no spider.

Host was really good & approachable. Location was perfect as our Son, his wife & new son live in a small flat 15minutes walk away. While our apartments decor was extremely dated & past its use by date, the unit was comfortable & warm. Fresh towels everyday is a lovely touch. We plan to use this motel when we visit again & we will be recommending to the wider family as well.

Decor was very tired, grout in bathroom around shower going mouldy. Kitchen facilities were below par for a motel. Having to do your own dishes, while not a real issue, it's something I've never come across before.

The motel was very nice Location was quite convenient.

We were offered transportation to the train station at the end of our trip. Unfortunately, they did not remember that they had offered it to us, We ended up having to arrange for transportation ourselves at the very last minute as otherwise we would’ve missed our train. So be warned. Apart from that, we had no other problems.

Nina, the owner, met us at the station and drove us back the following morning. Not only that, she drove us to a nearby area so we could find a restaurant to get a late dinner. She was an absolute delight, doing all she could to make our brief stay comfortable and happy. Our unit was impeccably clean. Thank you Nina.

Great parking and well priced in a central location. The staff were friendly and the room was excellently presented. We visit a lot of family when we come to Chch and this motel is our pick for price, place and pleasant staff.

Lincoln Road, Christchurch, is noisier than where we live normally, but the layout of the units seems to shield most of the noise.

- We arrived early yet the room was ready for us. - Reception staff went out of their way to help us and always friendly and smiling. - Helpful eg. our bags hadn't arrived on the same flight. They were delivered to the motel office late (after when they should have been shut) that evening and staff contacted us immediately - thank you! - Comfortable, clean and tidy motel. - Ample parking

-Although there were pots, frypan and cooking utensils in the unit, there was no hotplate in the kitchenette to make use of them. We made do with the microwave over the days we stayed. (Didn't want to ask as we felt we'd already pestered reception enough asking about local directions and suggestions). - Sadly the Netflix option was out of action. We understand this was being looked into.

Clean and spacious unit. Heater warmed the room well. Very comfortable bed. Friendly reception.

Unfortunately for us (elderly, poor mobility), the shower was over a bath without handles, so couldn't use it. Not their fault, I should have checked.
