The owners of this property went above and beyond to help us when our next night's accommodation could not be reached as the road was closed due to bushfires. The property was also being used to house the fire fighters. We were able to stay another night at Addington and then set off the next morning on a slightly different route. The owners at Addington also provide a drop off and pick up service free of charge to the station for travelling on the Coastal Pacific and Tranzalpine. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants within walking distance of the motel.

Nothing to dislike

Crystal went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. She's friendly and the little extras she included, (small bottle of milk and fudge at reception), all added to the experience. Would recommend this motel, especially if you're intending to visit the Court Theatre. Thanks, Brian

The selfish people below me who seemed to be arguing at 3am! Not Crystal's fault, but guests should have more respect for their fellow guests!

Really great stay! We were in Chch for the hozier concert, so the location was perfect. Wasn't expecting much because its really affordable but we has everything we needed and it was super clean. Cleaning staff are super attentive too. The reception staff (I'm guessing the owners) were so accomodating. Crystal (unsure of spelling) accomdated us for both a late check in and a late checkout, and was also very welcoming when we arrived. Highly recommend this place!

Very comfortable unit, with everything needed. An excellent unit for those who are elderly or with mobility issues. Crystal is a great hostess and went out of her way to make our stay a really good one. Shuttle service provided to & from the Railway Station, even with very early starts. Shops & cafes within a couple of blocks. Excellent bus service a couple of minutes walk away. Peter & Kerry

They also provide a wonderful pick up and drop off to the station for anyone catching the Coastal Pacific or Tranzalpine trains. They are extremely friendly and helpful. Thoroughly recommend Addington Court when in Christchurch.

Location to Addington Raceway was perfect as within walking distance (5 mins). Staff were very friendly, rooms were clean, comfortable, good size and standard, value for $$

Even though rooms are a good standard, bathroom cabinetry is a bit on the tired side, shower however was good. Road noise at night could be a factor for light sleepers as is right by the main road and traffic doesn't seem to stop.

Close to train station and town. Nice one bedroom unit. Good facilities, kitchen, bathroom. Free shuttle was definitely a bonus and much appreciated.

Lack of blackout curtains and lots of outside lighting meant the room wasn’t dark at night. Property is getting somewhat dated and worn. Lounge chairs weren’t comfortable to sit on.

Location is great to be near but not in the city. It's on a sort of main road, but barely heard any traffic. The unit is amazingly insulated and warm. It was a very cold night, and we didn't even need heaters etc! Crystal is very friendly and welcoming. Nothing was an issue!

Andy and Crystal were superb hosts. Couldn’t have been more obliging. Location ideal for places to eat nearby and for the station. Also easy to get into town.

Orange isn’t my wife’s favourite colour (but it’s only on the outside, so that was OK)!

How close it was to the concert we were attending. 5 minutes walk. Brilliant..

The people in the room above us were stomping around and banging on the floor. The shower rose kept sliding down, which made it very hard to wash our hair and upper body.
