Great hosts! I had a late check in and they had the heater on in my room, as I didn't have a car, I also arranged for a small grocery order to be delivered, not only was it put in my room for me, the drinks etc had been put in the fridge too! Those little touches mean a lot!! It was close enough for us to walk and have a good choice of cafes for breakfast, then just walk across the road to the stadium. PERFECT for what we wanted. Thank you Thank you Thank you!!

Look, its no 5 star motel, but it is very clean, it is tidy, it has great location and GREAT KIWI HOSTS!! It is all you need if you want to me close to the Stadium, we stayed 2 nights and it was perfect for us and what we needed on this trip. Nothing not to like - we will be back!!

The location was perfect for me. I had a conference being held at Addington raceway and it was literally a 5 minute stroll away. Owner was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy.

In the scheme of things these are minor. The shower is a bit weak. Not a huge water flow. A couple of window latches broken so I couldn't close the small window in the bathroom so a bit chilly in there. It was only open a crack. Not major issues

After having plane issues we were very late getting to our accommodation. I phoned the office and they were very accommodating and told us our room number and he would leave the door unlocked for us and would put the heating on so it would be nice and warm for us when we arrived. We really appreciated this as we did not arrive until 10.50pm and the weather was very cold,

Everything was ok

It was walking distance to shops and restaurants. The room was nice and clean and the beds were really comfortable and we were given a complimentary shuttle to the train station. Andrew was great to communicate with because our flight was delayed by over 6 hours so the office was closed when we arrived.

The room was a little bit dated and being near a main road there was morning traffic noise.

manager was just so can-do and helpful, accommodating me despite my major booking error and the lateish hour. and good shuttle service to the train next morning too.

not having bedlamp for the single bed: there was no powerpoint for one to plug into either. and cool white lights not the greatest especially in winter - warm white much more user friendly i think.

The unit was well set out and had all the conveniences of home. Clean and spacious for my friend and I. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was well equipped. The unit was a welcome respite from the severe weather battering the Canterbury and Christchurch regions endured during our stay.

We don't have anything that we didn't like about the unit.

We stayed at this motel for one night and we found our stay comfortable, the staff was super friendly, the facilities were great and the location perfect for us (we had to take an early morning train and this was a 4 min drive and 15 mins on foot to the station). The motel provided a free drop off to the railway station so really happy about that (as we had intended to walk down). It also wasn’t far from the botanical gardens, riverside market and the highlight for my family was kayaking down the Avon. We had a good time!!

The location for shows at the Canterbury arena is perfect! Also so close to Tower Junction so that’s even more helpful. The rooms are a great size and warm up so quickly especially in the chilly winter. Also it’s really easy to find! Great parking so that your off the road.

It was really only little things and it didn’t make the stay bad. It would have been nice to have some wine glasses in the rooms, extra blankets especially in winter. Our 2nd room had a hairdryer but our room didn’t have one so we ended up sharing. Been down stairs close to the room made it quiet nosy at nighttime. However still such a great place to stay!

I like that it is pet friendly , and the location for us was good.

The shower was broken. It is so difficult to make work, bathtub it wasn't cleaned properly, there is no amenities (shampoo or proper soap), in the service didn't replace the towels, no hairdryer, is a basic Motel and expensive. The bed you can feel the separation between the 2 singles making a king bed, so much difference together one was higher than the other.

Lovely site facing the sun, on the corner of a a main road and a small side street.

The WiFi falters being slow, and insecure. My laptop complained about the connection which only improved when I was beside the window. This is simple to upgrade which Arena should do because its should be the preferred motel for the Addington area.
