Convenience for airport, friendly and helpful staff. Good, well priced restaurant. Clean and well equipped rooms. Great to see the manager working on reception, helping in the restaurant and even driving the courtesy bus to the airport! Easy to get public bus into Chrustchurch for just 4 NZD and if you don't want to eat at hotel, there are alternatives next to the hotel in a small shopping centre. Reception staff, so welcoming and informative. We stayed in same hotel at Auckland airport and had a very similar positive experience. Well done to all the teams!

Was a little bit more expensive than Auckland, but we booked later and had free courtesy to airport which we had yo pay for in Auckland

directions to find the room not east to follow i walked around entire building back to reception desk with my bag after a long trip when people are tired ots good to check clarity for the guests. Sometimes when ataff know a place will small pieces of info get left out- especially when staff have to repeatedly direct people to rioms. The staff were all lovely- just the directions were a bit misleading ( turn right around the corner. I asked “ through that glads door” and was told ‘ yes’. which was not correct.

Hotel Sudima is a modern, very comfortable hotel conveniently located in a small shopping plaza just a 5-minute shuttle drive from the airport. Upon arrival, we simply called the hotel, and their shuttle picked us up within minutes. The staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly, ensuring a pleasant stay. The breakfast offered a variety of delicious options to cater to different dietary needs. It was the perfect choice for relaxing after our two-week New Zealand trip and before embarking on a long flight back to the States. Highly recommended for comfort and convenience!

The whole experience, staff were friendly and helpful. Bit of a walk to room next time will ask for a room nearer reception because of our age. I am sure we would have got assistance if we asked for it. Enjoyed happy hour and meal and slept very well in comfortable bed. Pillows were a bit hard for us but again we could have asked for another set and I am sure they would have obliged. Breakfast was smashing and we asked for a shuttle to the airport and this was immediate.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Sudima Hotel, and I am delighted to share my positive experience. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, attentive, and eager to assist with any request. Their genuine hospitality and professionalism were evident throughout my stay, making it an unforgettable experience. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, with clean and comfortable rooms that offer all the necessary amenities. The location is also convenient, providing easy access to the airport and local amenities. Whether traveling for business or leisure, Sudima Hotel offers a perfect blend of comfort, and top-notch service.

This may be a little farther from the airport but their free shuttle service to the airport was on demand and very convenient. I did not stay at the other hotel which was more expensive but I imagine that it might be noisier, being nearer to the airport. Sudima was quiet and as a bonus there is a Woolsworth supermarket and Spitfire Square with plenty of food options. The room was stylish and modern and luxurious and clean. I had a comfortable night before my flight the next morning.

My booking did not include breakfast but the staff told me it did. So I had breakfast there before my flight. Later at check out another staff wanted to charge me NZ$40 for the breakfast. Fortunately the staff who said breakfast was included admitted he told me so and then they did not charge me. I wouldn't pay NZ$40 for breakfast. The variety was adequate but not great. The pastries were not crispy nor tasty. I noted this as I have had fantastic pastries at most hotels for the trip.

Everything was top notch, and every single staff member we encountered was happy to be there, and that shone through to their respect and courtesy to us, anticipating our needs. Absolutely appreciated. Although it's minutes walk from the airport, the 24/7 shuttle (no booking necessary) was much appreciated because it's still an intrepid walk for some with disabilities 👌

Asked front desk staff for a shower cap as most hotels supply them. Man at front desk said we don’t have them. I said how annoying as have a very early morning flight to catch. Then on return stay, asked the cleaner if she had any as had another early morning flight, she said sure do I will get you one, which she did. Also we had no remote for our tv so couldn’t watch anything while trying to unwind from an overnight/ morning flight. Lovely man got us one in the morning.

Being an airport hotel, we needed convenience for our departure and arrivals. The transfers were efficient, and easy to arrange. Also loved the blackout curtains - perfect for sleeping in when jet-lagged!

In our room, the fridge was off because the power cord couldn't reach the point. We had to remove it from the cupboard and plug it in, then it blocked our hallway / entry. Also, the second room was not as well laid out as the first we had under a separate booking.
