The location was great, we did not eat at property but could easilly walk to a range of eateries from its central location. The room was clean and tidy and had everything we needed for a very reasonable price.

I was a bit unclear about parking arrangements. There was a limited variety of hot beverages in the room, only green tea black tea coffee & hot choc which is OK but I would have loved pepermint tea or camolmile. I do understand you cant have everything! I would have liked less small plastic containers for things, soap, shampoos, milk a disppensor or small bottle would have felt less wasteful

The staff were the best people, friendly and supportive, The receptionist helped me with room payments and I appreciated the non-judgmental way they looked after me The Chef made me awesome breakfasts and he peeled my oranges for me The room cleaning ladies were accommodating with times and communications on servicing Thank you, thank you

miss communication from staff on last day of stay over our late check out, had asked for a late check out was told it was fine then received a call to the room an hr earlier than agreed check out time saying we needed be out within less than half and hr we were part way through our breakfast that had been ordered to the room night before, his made leaving quite stressful when we had thought we had time to enjoy our meal and collect the last of things at a leisurely pace .

I loved my stay, my stay was a spur of the moment needing somewhere to stay so I had only a few things with me, so I loved that there was plenty of shampoos and a cute little shaver pack. The room was exactly what I needed and felt like a relaxing home away from home. The staff where friendly warm and welcoming. The bed to my surprise was actually comfortable to sleep on and the breakfast was so yummy the bacon was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend and will definitely be back to stay again.

The only thing I was a bit bummed about which isn't even a major was there was no bubble bath I got excited thinking the wee tube were bubbles but it was more shampoo which isn't a bad thing either. Maybe you could offer a bubble bath of some sort as part of the room. Otherwise I can't really fault my stay at all...

We really loved staying at The Kelvin. It was right in the central city. We walked into the city to get dinner. We enjoyed staying on the third floor. Very comfortable and warm. We loved that we got free parking in the Wilson’s carpark next door as guests. Loved the fridge freezer in the hallway we could use to keep our ice packs frozen. Loved the water filter in the hallway to fill up our water bottles.

The fridge didn’t have a freezing part for our ice packs, but there was a big fridge in hall way with a freezer we could use.

Room was very spacious, clean and well appointed. Great value for money. We had dinner in the restaurant and the meals were good portions and cooked wonderfully. We had the lamb and Venison loin very yummy! We also ordered a side of onion rings and truffle fries and the portion sizes were very generous to the point that we could not finish the fries and we had been hiking on Stewart Island for a week. Thank you for the awesome stay we will be back.

I can honestly say I can not think of one think that I didn't like.

We had a corner room and the sun 🌞 we got late afternoon was awesome. The tap in bathroom hand basin needed fixing but nobody came. Shower was great but hard getting into. Everything else was good great location could just walk to shopping mall and restaurants. Bed was really comfortable as were the pillows 😌.

Couldn't fault it there was nothing not to like. Plenty of TV channels to choose from.

The room was spacious and well appointed. It had two double beds, we only needed one. We were on the 6th floor accessed by lift. The bathroom was big, suitable for wheelchair access, again not needed. We had dinner in the Tappis bar which was OK. The free parking was a short distance away around the corner in the next street

We had an adjoining door to the Neighbour's room which wasn't very soundproof and we could hear the activities next door.

Location of the property with supermarket and eateries close by. As there were road works on the street, there were limited car parks however the hotel provided free parking by collarorating with Wilson.

Ventilation of the room was not great. The room was super hot the day, we tried to air out by opening both windows and turn on the not so great fan unit. It was still really hot.

It was the first hotel I've been in since the start of the trip, so it was nice to have elevators and less chaos immediately outside my room. The shower was wonderful, the bed comfortable and the room perfect for what I needed.parking was a small distance away but secure, which was nice.

The pillows were either too fluffy or too flat, nothing in between. My room had a door to join with another room, and while I did not use it, it made me a little worried that someone would just enter my room that way.
