The nice warm room (important in Invercargill), the very comfortable bed, the excellent shower, the kitchen facilities, the best sports channels on the TV and the great location right in the most convenient area of the city. We didn't avail ourselves of the breakfast delivered to your room, as we could prepare the same things for ourselves in the room using the full kitchen facilities. Of course you have to get a few supplies to be able to do this, but a large supermarket was not far away.

There was nothing to criticise really, although sachets of decaf would be a good addition to the range of sachets and teabags provided.

I loved that the room was toasty and warm when I arrived. Much appreciated as it was a mid-winter stay in cold wet weather. The hotel was in a converted old office building so the ceilings were high and the stairs had a history to tell. But everything was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Right in the centre of Invercargill at the crossroads of the main streets - perfect for shopping and navigation - with off street parking. Thank you for an easy stay!

The reception area was a bit cramped - needed a revamp for staff as well as guests. The only food available in house was in a snack dispensing machine by the lift. But the reception staff were helpful and friendly.

So unbelievably grateful for Quest. With a last minute change in plans, my partner and I decided to stay in Invercargill instead of travelling 5.5 hours at home. Beyond grateful that they were able to accomodate such a lovely room for us. It was really warm and welcoming, the receptionist was the most lovely lady I have met and was so helpful with helping us find a park for our car and trailer. In an ideal spot in the city, just an all round great place to stay. Highly recommend!

Loved our deluxe room! clean and had everything we needed. Bed was great, shower was awesome, toiletries provided were high quality. Nespresso was fantastic. Washing machine and drier a very handy added bonus. Room was spacious. We have zero complaints. We’ve stayed at 10+ hotels in the last 6 months and this had by far the most helpful front desk staff - in fact some of the most helpful we’ve ever experienced. The lady we had at check in was fabulous as was the next lady we had when checking out. Cannot fault our stay here and would stay again and again !

Have used quest hotels a number of times. this place had quite a bit of character being an older building. good location and parking was free and close by.

having stayed in quest hotels a number of times we found this one to be a little tired by comparison. very tight to get into the wardrobe. couldn't figure out how to turn the microwave on. had an isolation switch which we had never encountered before. staff helpful in sorting this though. needed another sharp knife, only one paring type knife provided.

Bed comfortable. The room was good to work in on the table. The washing machine and clothes dryer were both in very good working order. The Samsung television set was easy to watch from two very comfortable arm chairs.

The limited carparking next to the Quest building off The Crescent was on a first come first served basis. The car park was always almost full. Once we were very fortunate that a patron was departing in her motor car, just as we were arriving, so that we could take the last spot available.

Friendly and helpful greeting at reception. We were able to check in early. The hotel location is probably best in the city, easy walking distance to many restaurants, cafes, bars, and shopping. Even the Reading Cinema directly across the road. Room very comfortable. Coffee/Tea provided were excellent. Well lit room

Two small things - 1. Some outdoor noise (nearby construction site) early in the morning. 2. Toilet needed a good deep clean. (Shower and rest of bathroom all OK)

Always know that I am going to get good facilities at Quest apartments. Comfortable king bed, quiet room, kitchen facilities perfect for a lazy breakfast and decent shower. Front desk staff were lovely and really helpful. Internet was good enough to be able to work from room when needed.

Minor minor issue. Squeaky floor in bathroom meant creeping to use loo in night trying not to wake up partner was a challenge 😊 Payment was taken before arrival which I had not authorized but there was no issue refunding so I could pay using a different card.

THE STAFF ARE FANTASTIC! Friendly and super helpful. Dee (sp?) was so lovely about helping me out with laundry last minute which was a huge favour and great deal (5 dollars). Everyone we interacted with during our stay was great. Also great included amenities, especially generous with the hot bevvys. We felt very taken care of. Beds were comfortable, shower was hot and had fantastic pressure. Everything was very clean. Easy walk to the downtown shops. Can't think of anything to be improved on!

The room was super clean and fresh. Great shower water pressure. Everything you could want. Great historic building, well purposed for accommodation. Were accomodating when we asked for an extra for an extra bed to be in the living room.

The only negative was the cars on the street. But even then, it's hardly worth a mention. It's beyond their control.
