Stylish and sophisticated accommodation. Fantastic views of the Pacific in front and mountains behind. Quiet and peaceful location a few minutes drive from the town and all facilities. Perfect oasis for tired travellers with all our needs met including laundry facilities and great coffee machine. Beautifully planned accommodation which showcased the views. We even saw the Milky Way from the deck at night and dolphins swimming past early morning. We wish we could have stayed longer.

We enjoyed being there so much we asked if we could extend our stay. Sadly, they were booked so we were unable to. However, due to how much we enjoyed our time there, we are hoping to come back next year and stay again. The cottage is so comfortable that we cancelled our dinner reservations and grabbed food at the local grocery and ate in both nights. With the ocean on one side, mtns on the other, why would you want to be anywhere else? Extremely well equipped with everything you could need. Comfortable, relaxing, and beautiful setting all rolled up in one. Thank you for all the special touches included in your cottage. Our favorite place in NZ so far.

This is simply a stunning property made even more special by the amazing location, sandwiched between snow-capped mountains on one side and the Pacific ocean on the other. The chalet is one of three, purpose-built for travellers and equipped with almost every 'mod-con' you could think of. The blinds to the floor-to-ceiling windows are motorised, there is a large living room with TV and deck to one side, plus another TV in the bedroom that has it's own deck and a view of the ocean from the bed. The kitchen is fully stocked with fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, barista coffee machine, microwave and even a small dishwasher. Nothing was left to chance at this property and the vast bathroom had a full-size, statement bath and walk-in, wetroom shower with double basins. This property was breath-taking in every sense and the hosts could not have been more accommodating, while also totally unobtrusive.

That we only stayed here for one night!

Everything! Beautiful location, very secluded, which was also desired on our part, as we wanted to relax here for 5 days / 4 nights before our return journey. The furnishings are very high quality, kitchen well equipped, TV with app function. The bathtub is amazing. Saw dolphins twice from the bed with the telescope (also available in the house). The terrace at the back is quite sheltered from the wind, I could even sunbathe at 16 degrees and I wasn't cold. A clear recommendation!

What didn't I like?! This cottage was amazing, the facilities were very high end and the view on either side of the cottage was just breathtaking! My partner and I will definitely be back and I will recommend to friends and family.

Feather blanket under duvet which we didn't notice and both have allergies too.

This is a lovely place to stay, but you need a car. It is a bit of a walk to the beach and you must drive to get to any shops. We were happy to stay there. It is spacious and comfortable with beautiful views.

Living in Europe, you get used to seeing people everywhere, so I did feel a bit nervous out on a walk/run by myself.

We couldn’t have asked for a better start to our NZ holiday. With so many special and thoughtful, touches to the accommodation - right down to the chocolates on our pillow’s and arriving to the heater on and the place was lovely and cozy - it really was magical. One night was definitely not enough and I would highly recommend booking longer. We will definitely be back and spending more time. No matter where you looked out there was an amazing view.

There was nothing not to like apart from the fact that we had to leave!

Gorgeous place to stay for a couple of nights and relax! Such a great place to come back to after busy morning out and relax! Easy location close to town Amazing bath looking out to Mountain View’s and when the sun did shine looking out to sea on the front patio was brilliant!

I had been in the South Island for 10+ days and this is the best stay I have had - spacious, clean, spectacular view, good facilities (bath, stove, BBQ…etc). Location is fine which is just few mins drive from the centre. Superb value for money and the host is friendly.

Hard to think of one really.

Awesome mountain views at the back and ocean views at the front; Elegant and contemporary interior design; Super clean; Very private and quiet.
