I recently stayed at this wonderful studio and couldn't be happier with my experience. The place had everything we needed throughout our stay, making it very convenient and comfortable. The location was fantastic and very close to everything. The room itself was very cozy and had lovely mountain views with snow-covered peaks. Having the keypad lock system, which meant we didn't have to worry about carrying a key around, was a bonus. The communication from the owners was excellent, making the whole experience smooth and stress-free. Overall, it was an all-around good stay, and I would definitely recommend this studio to others.

Room was spacious, clean and comfy! The rooms all seem to be recently renovated and are quite modern. The owner kept in touch during the stay and kept us informed about some work being done during our stay. Location wasn't central but still really handy! We also loved being able to see the mountains from our room.

The only complaints I have are pretty minor, the windows for the studio aren't double glazed, and the one in the bathroom has a little crack between the latch and the window, so it gets quite chilly at night, however if you keep the heatpump on and the bathroom door shut it's fixable. I also didn't realize until too late afterwards, but the motel is situated on state highway 1 so it can be a little noisy for a very light sleeper, but we slept fine.

Stayed 2 nights at Kaikoura Peaks emotel. The room was clean, comfortable with a high ceiling and lots of personal touches. The bathroom was modern with an excellent shower ! There is a New World Supermarket across the road & coffee stops on a walking route into the town centre which takes about 30 mins. We had great communication with the owner throughout our stay. We loved our short stay at Kaikoura.

Room was really well set up with everything you'd need. Only stayed for a short night stopover but for that it was perfect. Location was fine, bit of road noise but nothing major, nice view of the mountains which was nice! Host was super responsive when we had to park our car somewhere else.

Car ports were a little bit short, we couldn't fit our tall ute + canopy and roof racks in. But the host replied super fast with other suggestions on where we could park :)

Loved the modern feel and the way you can tell a lot of time and effort has been put into the property!! Communication from host was great, customer care is a 10/10 from us. Was perfect for our relaxing getaway

Only downside was the lack of an extractor fan and a fan in the bathroom - was concerned about setting the fire alarm off when cooking especially since it was out of reach to turn off if it has started

Such a lovely and spacious motel. Great to relax at and make yourself feel at home. Good facilities with kitchen, microwave, sink and dining table + coffee table and couch. Easy to access with a keypad lock, no need to carry key.

Would’ve been better if there were Fly screens so we could open the windows more to air the place. Bathroom smelt a bit funky when left for a while - I liked opening the windows but then it was fully exposed to the elements.

Such a lovely place, from the very start it felt like home - clean, specious and comfortable. It did get a bit cold overnight and in hindsight we should have turned the heat pump on but the beds had enough blankets to keep us warm.

The property is on the main road so you get a lot of road noise, I do recommend getting some earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. The only real downside was the water pressure in the shower, it was either strong but cold, or warm but very low.

The view of the mountains from the room stunning. The room was clean, easy location to drive to town. The shampoo was good.

Our room was dirty when we checked in which was a shame as our first impression but after calling the number to tell them, someone was sent to the property to clean it. The pillows were flat and the mattress not very comfortable either, resulting in a really bad sleep. At night all you can hear is trucks on the main road driving by all night long. Very noisy.. don’t stay here is you are a light sleeper.

Netflix is a nice surprise for the kids. A spacious 2-br-apartment

1. Shower water current can be a bit more bigger 2. Two rooms but only 1 heater, 1 more will be great. 3. Lighter didn’t work so couldn’t get the oven to work. 4. Our room is next to the main road so there was occasional noises when car passing by. Winter is low season so not a big issue but could be worse during summer. 5. In the small room the power sockets are hidden behind the wall, making it difficult to have phones next to the bed while being charged during night. 6. The table game is missing pieces, better get a replacement.

Lovely property, well decorated, clean and nicely finished.

The parking spaces are a little tight for a small SUV but there is options for larger vehicles. The WiFi was really terrible, which may have been resolved by restarting but we were not there to benefit this. We had also thought from the pics that there would be an oven but maybe this is only in one room, not all.
