This was hands down one of the best accommodations we stayed at on the South Island! The entire studio was spotlessly clean and smelled amazing. We really appreciated the use of reed diffusers—it gave the space such a luxurious and welcoming touch. The shower gel provided also smelled incredible, and both my fiancé and I truly enjoyed using it. Unlike many other places where bedding can be dusty from disuse, this place felt fresh and extremely well-maintained. No dust, no hidden grime—just pure comfort.

The only minor issue we encountered was the kettle, which had a thick build-up of limescale. We had to scrub and boil water three times before it looked clean and safe to use. It was a small inconvenience but worth noting.

I recently stayed at this wonderful studio and couldn't be happier with my experience. The place had everything we needed throughout our stay, making it very convenient and comfortable. The location was fantastic and very close to everything. The room itself was very cozy and had lovely mountain views with snow-covered peaks. Having the keypad lock system, which meant we didn't have to worry about carrying a key around, was a bonus. The communication from the owners was excellent, making the whole experience smooth and stress-free. Overall, it was an all-around good stay, and I would definitely recommend this studio to others.

Room was spacious, clean and comfy! The rooms all seem to be recently renovated and are quite modern. The owner kept in touch during the stay and kept us informed about some work being done during our stay. Location wasn't central but still really handy! We also loved being able to see the mountains from our room.

The only complaints I have are pretty minor, the windows for the studio aren't double glazed, and the one in the bathroom has a little crack between the latch and the window, so it gets quite chilly at night, however if you keep the heatpump on and the bathroom door shut it's fixable. I also didn't realize until too late afterwards, but the motel is situated on state highway 1 so it can be a little noisy for a very light sleeper, but we slept fine.

Stayed 2 nights at Kaikoura Peaks emotel. The room was clean, comfortable with a high ceiling and lots of personal touches. The bathroom was modern with an excellent shower ! There is a New World Supermarket across the road & coffee stops on a walking route into the town centre which takes about 30 mins. We had great communication with the owner throughout our stay. We loved our short stay at Kaikoura.

The room was clean, comfortable and cosy. The bathroom was clean and had plenty of room. The bed was comfortable and the room was warm from the sun during the day and there was air conditioning. The room was perfect for our needs. The location was close to New World for groceries and even though it was on a main road we were not disturbed by the street noise.

Room was really well set up with everything you'd need. Only stayed for a short night stopover but for that it was perfect. Location was fine, bit of road noise but nothing major, nice view of the mountains which was nice! Host was super responsive when we had to park our car somewhere else.

Car ports were a little bit short, we couldn't fit our tall ute + canopy and roof racks in. But the host replied super fast with other suggestions on where we could park :)

Loved the modern feel and the way you can tell a lot of time and effort has been put into the property!! Communication from host was great, customer care is a 10/10 from us. Was perfect for our relaxing getaway

Only downside was the lack of an extractor fan and a fan in the bathroom - was concerned about setting the fire alarm off when cooking especially since it was out of reach to turn off if it has started

The furnish style is gorgeous! And everything is clean and host very considerate and friendly, easy to find driving along the beach road, and from the glass door can see snow mountains far away, good view

One of the bathroom window can't be completely closed but it's totally fine, only a small gap left and barely any cold air come in

Such a lovely and spacious motel. Great to relax at and make yourself feel at home. Good facilities with kitchen, microwave, sink and dining table + coffee table and couch. Easy to access with a keypad lock, no need to carry key.

Would’ve been better if there were Fly screens so we could open the windows more to air the place. Bathroom smelt a bit funky when left for a while - I liked opening the windows but then it was fully exposed to the elements.

Lovely property, well decorated, clean and nicely finished.

The parking spaces are a little tight for a small SUV but there is options for larger vehicles. The WiFi was really terrible, which may have been resolved by restarting but we were not there to benefit this. We had also thought from the pics that there would be an oven but maybe this is only in one room, not all.
