The location was fantastic, we were able to walk to restaurants, shops and the wharf. The hosts were friendly and shared their local knowledge, which was a great help. The room and facilities were very comfortable, and both well appointed and very clean. The outlook from the room was picturesque, looking out onto the lovely pool area and the beautiful bushland. The breakfasts were delicious and substantial, there was plenty of choice , and we loved the freshly baked friands that we took with us on our journey each day.

Nothing, a perfect getaway.

Such a perfect haven for a few days. Surrounded by native bush, bird calls, no insects or bugs, only minutes away by car from the commercial area and beach or a 20 minute down hill walk. Wendy and Phil are lovely hosts, relaxed, understated, and very welcoming. Plus full of information on things to see and do, getting around. The room is spacious, restful with wardrobe, small fridge, coffee capsule machine, good bathroom and comfortable bed. Breakfast is delicious - fresh fruit salad, home made muesli, and commercial cereals, yoghurt, different types of bread for toasting, jams, your choice of eggs and sides, tea and coffee. Breakfast takes place at a large square table set for up to 8 people. This is a great way of meeting fellow guests and exchange information about things to see and do in the area and around the rest of the country. We were only NZers staying at the time; other guests were from UK, Canada, and the US all doing a tiki tour of the country, so conversation was lively and fun.

Beautifully furnished accommodation in a tranquil setting. Our hosts, Wendy & Phil, were so welcoming and provided a delicious breakfast including fresh fruits, cereals, yoghurt, juice, toast, pastries and freshly cooked omelettes. Very comfortable bed, large ensuite, and lots of little extras to make our stay complete. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet retreat in beautiful Paihia.

Nothing to dislike...just superb!

Wendy and Phil were fantastic hosts and true professionals. Their warm and friendly hospitality made us feel right at home. The house was welcoming, the food was excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed chatting with both the hosts and other guests. The accommodation was comfortable, the location was perfect, and they were incredibly helpful throughout our stay.

Lovely property 10-15 minutes easy walk away from the waterfront. Didn't have a lot of time to appreciate the outdoor deck and pool as we were out and about around the Bay of Islands. The room was very comfortable with a great shower room. Breakfast was amazing - good coffee and loved Wendy's muffins. Good conversation with both Philip and Wendy, and they very kindly made us a packed breakfast on our second morning as we had to dash off. Thankyou.

Wonderful B&b in Paihia with all comfortables you need. The breakfast was amazing, made directly by the hosts who is a very nice couple :) they took care of us and they left us a lot of raccomandation about the best thing to do. Really appreciated! Suggest it.

What a wonderful place to stay. Our hosts Wendy and Phil went the extra mile in accomodating and helping us. The breakfast was superb. We loved our unit and the stay was quiet and serene.

The hosts are exceptional- very nice people who made you feel at home. The real I’m was very clean, spacious and had all the amenities. Quiet location with a neat view of the Bay. Breakfast was perfect and provided an opportunity to meet the other guests.

Excellent from arrival, Wendy and Phil are lovely welcoming hosts, beautiful spotless home with great views and excellent facilities, comfy private and spacious rooms and bathrooms plus communal lounge area, outdoor seating, fabulous breakfast with lots of choices made to order homemade baked goods, jams & marmalade all delicious. High on the hill overlooking the bay a little out of town but that adds to the attraction. Highly recommended, you won’t be disappointed.
