Perfect location, very close to markets and shops, on arrival, was able to check in early and found the room to be very clean and spacious. Loved the deck at the back with 2 cute palm trees, nice big modern TV, bathroom was very clean and tidy, same as the carpets, couch, and all bedding. Absolutely loved the mattress which wasn't too soft, so was perfect for my back. The kind owner/manager came to room to greet at checking time, was very pleasant and respectful. I will definitely be coming back.

The place was very clean and well kept. The furniture was new. In the room, we found a kettle with plenty of tea bags, coffee, and hot chocolate to use. In the fridge, there was a small bottle of fresh milk. The bed was super comfy, and there was also a fantastic electric blanket. It is a modest place, but you will have everything you need.

We stayed in the superior studio which was light and airy. Had everything we needed and was lovely and modern.

Parking is limited, someone took our park which we thought was designated. Not to much of a big deal though. The bathroom is modern and spacious but they need to up the cleaning. Plug holes and suck we’re black and mouldy and there was hair in the drawers.

staff were friendly, room was a decent size, large bathroom and cooking facilities met our needs. perfect location, walked into town to cafes, pubs and restaurants. an easy 15 minute walk to buffalo beach. Supermarkets were a short car ride away. lovely and clean accommodation, we would easily stay here again.

Everything. The room was very spacious and super clean ( the surfaces in the kitchen and the bathroom were glowing ), the bed was very comfortable, and the TV in the living room had, apart from the NZ channels, also satellite channels. Finally, the location was only a short walk from the main high street of the town of Whitianga.

Great location! Only a wee walking distance to shops and beach (within 10 minutes unless you want Woolworth/Warehouse then drive 5 mins). Great space in rooms, clean and tidy. Gives a classic Kiwi motel vibe :) Friendly and helpful owner who is just a phone call away. Rooms were clean, cooking facilities were more than adequate. Parking right in front of our room.

An older building but in very good repair. Very spacious with a very comfortable bed and good linens Kitchen is well equipped. very convenient parking

The only downside was it is on a fairly busy road but still very quiet at night. Very close to the marina and restaurants but further from the beach

Large clean family room. Beach towels and shovels provided for hot water beach! Proper stove, microwave etc.

Room was very hot. No Aircon but some fans were provided (although cables too short to be able to face them towards the bed). Didn't like the unexpected 3.5% extra fee for using a credit card to pay... I looked back and it's mentioned on Booking.com but as a tiny footnote, it wasn't at all obvious.

Perfect for what we needed and a safe location for our truck with tools inside, the room was nice and clean and the wifi was fast, i would stay here again in the future.

Not enough plug points in the room for charging phones and laptops ect.

The room was clean, excellent value, close to town and had all the extras like coffee and milk and Netflix.

The WiFi was quiet unreliable. It wasn't just a problem with being slow, sometimes connections would just drop. That made it hard for me to do some of my work and my kids to play online games.
