The location was very good. There were a few bars and restaurants to the top of the street, but Aker Brigge is only a 10 minute walk. The tram is five minutes away either way so its very conveniently located. The superior room with a balcony was fine, but the balcony was very small. Always request a balcony with views of the fjords. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choices but like every European hotel, the food is only warm. A lovely bar open every night except Sunday. Staff very attentive especially the Breakfast staff.

Aircon was ok, but no idea if it could cope if the weather was any hotter than 25c.

Scandic Solli is located just few minutes walking from the National theater train terminal and tram stop, very convenient to go to the center and to other locations. The neighborhood is very nice, quiet, safe and clean. Loved the sauna - you need to turn it on yourself 20 minutes to heat up- gym is with the right equipment. Breakfast was amazing, they have vegan options as well as gluten free. The shampoo has a fantastic smell. Great view from the room.

I actually booked it thinking about using the bicycles offered on booking.com but they don’t have any. That was a huge disappointment. Beds are way too soft for my liking. More hangers are definitely needed and a kettle with coffee and tea would be a great addition. Other than that, I think it’s a great choice.

Really good value for money! Rooms are comfortable, the location is very central and close to all public transport spots. And the breakfast gives plenty of choice for good food. There are a pharmacy and a convenience store just on the same lane and some restaurants around.

The iron in the room had a broken cable. Working though, but I was afraid to get a shock. However that was the only complaint I can have about this hotel.

Goods first! Breakfast was excellent! Everywhere drawing pencils, papers were available for kids (very swedish) so it was nice for them. There were only bathtubs so for elderly people it was very high to reach and they did not have an option to take a bath without the bathtubs. Parking was super small and narrow entrance, very dirty feels almost spookey. It was cheaper than the nearby parking so we did not have much choice!

Location – close to the center, nice area for walks, delicious breakfast 🥞 We ended up in this hotel due to not the most pleasant set of circumstances. And we definitely had a nice experience. Thanks to the Scandic team, we really enjoyed our short stay at this hotel. ___________ Prehistory: Due to unexpected reasons – the host of another booked in advance prepaid accommodation didn't host us and didn't answer the phone calls and messages, so we found ourselves without accommodation in the late evening of Saturday after travelling the whole day from another country. After several calls to the Booking com support, we were told to book another accommodation with the compensation. The prices were really expensive at that moment and there weren't a lot of available options to book. So we decided to choose the closest available option to the previous one.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Good sized room. Breakfast was very good. Great location, very central. The parking garage was not big, but I got a place anyway. Parking was expensive at around 30 Eur per night, but parking is expensive in Oslo generally. There was room temperature control.

There were stains on the roof of the bathroom as if someone opened a drink and it splashed on the roof. This could easily be cleaned. The dark curtain was short, so sunlight still seeped through and brightened the room quite early. The beds have legs with wheels and the brakes on the wheels are broken. This made the beds move around if one is not sitting very still on them. The beds were surprisingly comfortable though. The remote in our room was partially broken as the off button doesn't work. We had to pull out the cable when we wanted to sleep.

The staff was super friendly. Breakfast was good and it was great to relax in a sauna after a busy day in the cold

I found children’s dirty underwear under the couch and that was kinda off putting and showed me how well the rooms were cleaned. I told the hotel about it(they offered switching rooms but what’s the point), but it (someone else’s underwear) stayed there throughout all the cleanings and might still be there haunting new guests.

We stayed in a twin room. It was quiet and clean with daily room service and the beds were very comfortable. The staff team were professional and approachable. We had a view of Oslo Fjord from our window. The main attractions are within walking distance and the tram stops nearby. The breakfast is amazing. I'm vegetarian and was spoilt for choice. Oat milk is available. I would stay at this hotel again.

I would have liked tea making facilities in the room. We purchased a snack from reception and found it over priced.

The hotel is nice, a bit used but not much. It is clean, has a nice sauna and gym and is situated very very close to everything. The breakfast was really great.

It is unclear how and when the cleaning of the rooms is done. I used the tag to clean my room and that day it was not cleaned. The other day without a tag it was cleaned, but one of the three beds was not made up. It was a bit strange but I didn't care that much. The staff was very helpful except for one I do not want to name in public, who was unkind, unhelpful and passive-aggressive at the check-out.

Good room with nice view, good breakfast, convenient location with good public transport options. Luggage storage facility. Helpful, friendly staff.

Corridor was a bit shabby and needed vacuuming. Small lift. One of the two lifts did not have a working button for our floor (5th). Asked for room to be cleaned but did not happen on the second day.
