The hotel reception staff were extremely helpful and informative, and the breakfast room staff were very friendly..... definitely service with a smile first thing in the morning. We had a very comfortable room, with all we needed. This hotel is just on the perimeter of the harbour area, filled with fantastic restaurants, just a short walk and you're in the heart of Oslo.

Unfortunately, our visit to Oslo coincided with the building work within the hotel, so it was very noisy from early morning, and again in the early evening. However, I do recognize that the building work has to be done for the improvement of the hotel facilities, and it will be a magnificent addition when finished.

Very nice comfy room, quite large for a hotel room. Really close to Aker Brygge. A bus stop is right in front of the hotel while the tram station is few minutes walk. The breakfast was fine with plenty of options to choose from, although we couldn't find any marmelade to our surprise.

The hotel offers parking which is much cheaper than the others available nearby. But, the instructions we got from the reception were so bad that we couldn't find where the entrance was and ended up leaving the car in a really pricy parking opposite to the hotel. The hotel's parking entrance is just on the side road, really it was so easy to give proper instructions.

Fabulous breakfast buffet, large room with large bathroom that had two sinks, room well appointed with extras such as small refrigerator, wall safe, hairdryer, plastic bags and dispenser for sanitary products, kleenex dispenser, they were able to adjust the room temperature to our liking when asked, they provided directions when asked and their taxi reservation system was unexpected surprise and very efficient. All of the staff were pleasant, efficient and represented their company well.

The hallway carpeting was multicolored and garish. The hallway and room walls were also garish. The colors were cheap looking and more suited for a nursery or primary school than a hotel with classy lobby and well appointed rooms.

While I think this hotel is very good for people who aren't necessarily looking for a bar or restaurant, the breakfast was in a class of its own compared to many other hotels my husband and I have stayed at. Particularly appetizing and well presented, in addition to the fact that the staff were very pleasant and clearly cared that people felt comfortable and felt almost like they were at home. For us the location was good. You can walk to the city center, take the bus or tram. Easy and good. I recommend this hotel for the above reasons.

We liked everything

Excellent location in Oslo. Easy to get to from airport on express train Flytoget. You get off at National museum and is a 8 minute walk. We stayed in superior double room that very comfortable with a couch and chair. Nice bathroom with 2 sinks. Buffet breakfast was good. We liked location by Aker Brygge for walking and exploring Oslo. Lots of restaurants close by. Close to buses and metro which easy to use with app Ruter

Nothing for us but some rooms a long way from the elevator and could be an issue for some with mobility issues. Our room 320 a fair walk from elevator

The hotel is located in a walk distance from the train station and the ferry harbor. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet offered a large selection, everything was very good and fresh. Room was comfortable and modern.

The only downside during my stay was the ongoing renovation of big part of the building (rooms were not affected), but it should be finished soon.

This hotel is probably at the best location in the city. basically, everything, and I mean everything is a 30 minuta walk away. Staff was very friendly and helpful, bathroom is exceptional, plenty of light in the room. Selection at breakfast was incredible. Rooms were simple, yet modern looking. You even get an umbrella to use.

At the breakfast buffet, it's written what the food is, but only in Norwegian. If you don't know Norwegian, only options are to ask someone, use translator apps, or take a risk. Inclusion of the food items in English would've been nice.

1. Location was , for us, excellent. Readily accessible by car, close to many restaurants near the sea, supermarkets, design shops, etc. You are essentially next door to the Nobel place and the Design Museum. Walking distance to Parliament, King's palace, main shopping streets etc. 2. Hotel is modern, rooms are large. However, in our room no closet? There was a coffee machine which is nice. 3. Breakfast was abundant, staff very nice (Especially the guy from Philipines, dont know his name...) 4. The hotel is part of a building complex which includes offices and even a private highschool, which makes it very lively. Cofee is available 24/7 at the reception area, but not milk (why?) Overall - an excellent hotel that will benefit from better training to the front desk staff! (Will you refund me the 660 NOK?)

Lady in Reception on aour arrival was less than accurate in her parking arrangement explanations, which cost us a totally unnecessary 660 NOK fine. The Hotel Garage is NOT a hotel parking, rather a public parking monitored by the city as if it was "street parking". While we understood we pay to the hotel - you actually have to prepay at a machine near the entrance (If you saw it...) So we are NOT PLEASED! BEWARE innocent tourists! No milk in the free coffee area 24/7 limits its applicability to black coffee only. It would be more considerate to add milk.

When the desk is not maned, there is a poster with a number to call on it - however no one answered it When we checked in, we were told breakfast was from 6am on Monday, in the room and lift it was again advertised as open from 6am It wasn't and there didn't seem much interest in resolving that - so instead of a nice relaxing morning, we had to rush, not at all how we wanted the day to go

The lady at reception was the nicest person in Oslo, no doubt. I had a problem with my door, as my key didn’t work and I couldn’t get to my room, and she very kindly got it sorted with a very good attitude.

I wasted almost 20 minutes because on the check out day the door key stopped working before 12:00 (wrong process, it should stop working after 12:00, not before), and I had to go to reception three times until someone got it sorted in the end, so I could get my baggage from my room and check out.
