I had a great stay at Hotel Filip! This hotel is a self service hotel, meaning there is no front desk and you check in online and get a code to access your room. Also the rooms are only cleaned at the end of your stay. I had a small problem with my first room when I got there and send an e-mail to Hotel Filip and they were extremely quick to answer and come to my aid. I was able to change rooms within minutes and I am really happy with the quick and good service. The rooms are beautiful, well equipped and clean. The location was great for us, very close to Aker brygge which has many wonderful restaurants and bars. It is also in walking distance from the center, but also close to buses and only 10 minute walk to the metro that takes you to the airport. I would definitely consider staying there again.

Great location, in a building with character. Very comfortable bed, useful kitchenette with sink, oven, hobs, and a reasonable size fridge. Dishwasher machine was a bonus, and there was a sufficient quantity of tableware to survive between washes (the hotel gives tonwash tablets each time they service room, so it means you wash dishes every other day).

We stayed during summer, and there is no building aircon, so after hot days, there are hot nights. The two windows, when opened, make it possible to sleep but still a little on the warm side, so be warned. The gym area has sufficient equipment for a workout, but the space is a little cramped and would not easily support more than a couple of people in there at a time. There is a sauna too (infrared) but we didn't try.

The shower was good, the water temperature was stable. The location is OK close to Aker Brygge not too far from the city center.

We sent a message to the hotel that we will arrive in the morning to drop the bag and will come back later to check in. When we got there, we couldn't get into the building as you needed code to unlock the front door. We called the hotel and the guy asked me to go back to the train station which is 10 mins away to keep our 2 big luggage in the locker.🥺😒 He also told me he couldn't help me.😤😤 I have to called again before the manager sent Balneda to help with luggage. Thank you very much Balneda, sorry if I spelled your name wrong.

This property was in a wonderful location. Easy walking distance to the waterfront and very walkable to town center. We came in on the ferry so we took a taxi to the hotel since we had so much luggage. The hotel was clean and it great condition. We had plenty of room. We felt very safe in the area. The hotel is very private and just far enough away from the noise and business of the city.

We came in on the ferry and there is no luggage storage at the hotel so we had to pay for storage in the city center and then go back to the storage area, pick up our luggage and take a taxi to the hotel at checkin time. It was self checkin which made me a little nervous as what would I do if I needed someone. I didn’t and once I figured out the self checkin it was an easy. Checkin reminded me more of checkin at an Airbnb. Not what you expect from a 4 star hotel. Otherwise fabulous and wonderful stay.

Great location, nicely furnished rooms, very comfortable beds. Washing facilities great.

Remote door entry system is great when it works - but we arrived late and only one room was accessible. Also despite requesting rooms close to one another (we have 4 children) we were placed on different floors. All was sorted the next day but we had to do so by calling a local number as no online help available. Local cleaner/property manager very friendly and helpful though Rooms could be a little bigger, and very limited space for clothes the only other small downsides.

Simple yet stylish accommodation with a great price. Our original room had issues with the AC and we were moved to a lovely large and quiet room with a kitchenette which was perfect for our stay. Location was great, Akker Brygge is a cool area and also within walking distance or a short bike ride to most other neighbourhoods/sites. We found the online key system straightforward, and the lack of staff / concierge was not an issue for us.

Such a small issue but the bathroom facilities were a bit small - sink was tiny, and there was no shelf or ledge to keep toiletries. Also important to keep your phone charged as it's your entry into everything! Without it, i'm not sure how you'd get into the building/room...

Prefect location for the port, hop on and off bus. Walking distance into the centre. I got a bus to Oslo train station within a 2 minute walk. The hotel manager recommended the VY app to book my train to Bergen. He also gave me the ‘#’ app to book my tickets either on the tram, boat, metro or bus. Super helpful indeed. He also recommended a super lovely pub called ‘forest and brown’ which did lovely food and great beers! Had a great sleep over my 2 nights. No noise. Black out blind/curtains! Super great hot shower and heated floor. I also had a very lively window autumn view. I have already recommended this to friends and family and I will be returning for sure!

Nothing! A little cold in the main bedroom but I used the heater. The 2 single duvets were cosy but a big duvet is always nice because it saves losing one off the bed. But this is a very minor suggestion.

A really great little apartment hotel close to the city centre, Akker Brygge and public transport links. Nice to have proper facilities in the room - fridge and dishwasher, hob and coffee machine, a table to sit at. Communal facilities include a garden, sauna and gym. Check in is really easy and efficient. The room was clean and simple. The manager was extremely helpful and responsive, when the weather was hot he brought us a fan and then moved our room to the cooler side of the building, and sorted out moving our luggage while we were out for the day. A really nice place to stay in Oslo, would absolutely stay here again.

The property is by a main road and roundabout, road traffic can be noisy at night, and without air con it’s too warm to keep the windows closed in summer.

The location is great. It is walking distance to the city center. Great price, and the rooms are freshly renovated, comfortable and nice. I'm very happy I stayed there with my family. check in and out was automatic and easy.

There is no parking from the hotel, so you must consider this if you are traveling by car. Although there are many parking houses nearby. The staff was super nice to recommend a few, so this made it easy. But this is the only thing I would say was missing. But I loved this place and i would definitely come back if I visit Oslo again.

Hotel Filip is a apart hotel very modern, clean and in a strategic position close to restaurants and Pubs. Furniture, matress and pillow are very good. Room is spacious. The price is very competitive. Bear in mind there is no staff on site, all is automatic and you can talk with the staff on phone on or message. They are very help ful. The check in is based on a web link you must activate before 1500. After this activation you can enter inside using your mobile phone browser. Just be sure to allow the browser to activate GPS function.
