Nice location in a lively part of Frogner, at approx. 5 minutes walking from the back entrance of the Nationaltheatret train station. My room had a small kitchen, with coffee machine and microwave. The curtain was good enough to keep most of the early morning light out in summer.

This is an apartment, not a hotel - so no cleaning was done during the four nights of my stay (towels were changed once, though). I didn't see services such as bar, gym, breakfast etc. (but there is a laundry). The room was not well suited for working: a round table, sockets few, not near the table, and hard to find (WiFi was fine, though).

The room was clean, the bed and duvet were really thick, warm and absolutely comfortable, I absolutely LOVED how comfortable the room was. The view from my room is facing Skoveien street, which was lively, especially on Friday nights. On other nights it was quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful. And most importantly, there are a few tram stops which are just around the corner (Niels Juels gate, Solli Plass, Riddervolds Plass). Would absolutely come back and stay here if we visit Oslo again 🖤

The lighting in the hallway and in the room is quite dim. The shower space / area is very small. Also, there is no microwave in the kitchenette area.

Location is great, but the street noise kept me awake. Since there is no air-conditioner, I have to keep the windows cracked open, and I can hear street noise, people talking etc. sometimes it lasted until after midnight. Room is spacious, I traveled alone, but booked a room for two people, so my stay was comfortable.

Checking in: I arrived after 11pm, so there was no one at work. Getting into the hotel at night, trying to input my reservation code into a machine, so I can have a room key and room number. These are very "foreign" to me. In the United States, it doesn't matter how late people check into a hotel, there is always a front desk staff to assist. A/C: I know it's an old building with no A/C, but if you could provide window A/C, it will be much better than no A/C. It's pretty humid and hot in the summer, and it's not easy to stay in the room even after 6pm.

Great location and facilities. Frogner House Skovveien was a great base from which to explore Oslo on foot. Public transport was also conveniently available in front of the door. The flat was equipped with everything necessary for me to enjoy some quiet downtime with a nice snack that I could prep in the kitchenette. I visited during a heatwave but it was sufficient to pull the curtains and close the window while I was out during the day so that the flat didn’t get too hot. The laundry room came in handy too! The Frogner team was very polite and professional. Everyone seemed to be doing their job with a smile. Thank you!

Having a single power socket wasn’t the best.

Great apartment with all you need, automated check in with clear instructions, very nice (though small) breakfast you get in a bag every morning - eg super fresh croissant / cinnamon bun, fresh squeezed juice, a fruit sand a sandwich, nice area with cafes/groceries around - and walkable distance to city center (and to the sculpture park btw)

IMPORTANT - the doors do not lock automatically when you close them. So when you leave, you actually need to beep the card to lock it - that’s completely counterintuitive because it’s never required in hotels. And the property DOESN’T WARN you about it! So we went away once leaving the apartment completely exposed, and also slept during the night with unlocked door. I urge the owner to add this to instructions about the stay, it’s critical.

The apartments are very spacious and very nicely furnished. The high ceilings were great and the bathroom and whole area was made up for 3 people (one on the comfortable pull out couch). The staff were very accommodating and helpful and available. Free laundry! We loved having that option available to us! The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and we enjoyed cooking in it and bringing our own breakfast to save some $$. It was a lovely stay! Great location to tram/bus as well as walking distance around town.

It would have been good to have some instructions about the microwave/oven. It was difficult to work! Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay here. It is a fine and perfect location and lovely way to see Oslo city sights.

The location was perfect! Just a 10-15 minute walk from the most important tourist spots—the wharf, the Nobel Peace museum, the Royal Palace, and a quick taxi ride to the Munch museum and opera house. The room was clean, modern, well-furnished and functional. It was handy to have a laundry room and iron/board available.

Since our room overlooked the street, it could be a bit noisy at night, with merrymakers shouting at midnight and beyond. But all it all, that wasn’t a big deal. The automatic check-in worked well, but it wasn’t always easy to get the attention of the people in the office, who seemed to be busy doing other things, perhaps taking reservations for other properties. I didn’t find them very helpful most of the time, although we did get one of the young women to make us a restaurant reservation, and one young man who was the most helpful of all helped us figure out the washer and dryer.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Frogner House Skovveien. The apartment was comfortable and well-equipped with all the essential amenities. Although it was a bit small for the three of us, a larger space would have been more convenient, but our overall experience was still very pleasant. The presence of a laundry room on the third floor, which we didn’t use, was a great feature that definitely added another star to our stay. The check-in process via the machine was a breeze, and the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive to all our queries, making us feel right at home. The location is unbeatable, within walking distance of Oslo’s most beautiful attractions, including the Aker Brygge district, the Nobel Prize Center, the National Museum, Frogner Park, and Vigeland Sculpture Park. Additionally, it’s conveniently close to coffee shops, restaurants, supermarkets, and public transportation. I fell in love with Oslo and fully intend to return, and there’s no doubt that I’ll choose Frogner House Skovveien again.

The location is absolutely amazing, there are lots of coffee shops nearby and grocery shops as well. The check in is so easy and smooth, the staff is always smiling and welcoming, the rooms are very well equipped with everything you need, they even have laundry facilities inside the hotel. So I had a great stay and I’ll definitely be back!

It’s located in a very popular area with many bars around and the weekends can be a bit loud after 22:00, but I wasn’t too bothered by that.

Amazing, spacious room, on a very central location, excellent staff providing assistance and advice at all times. Netflix service available on the room TV.

I would rather have cleaning service and clean towels at least every other day (instead of clean towels after 2 days of staying at the premises). It would have been nice if breakfast had been included in the price of the booking, it was either way too pricey for a stay.
