1) Security is very good. They will always check cars coming in, including the boot and running metal detectors under cars. Also, there's always at least 2 staff at the counter 24/7. With doorman/ security guard at front and back entrances. 2) Location is central and safe. Surrounded by many malls and you feel safe walking around at night. People are always around, including walking underpasses. 3) Facilities. The gym is available 24/7. There's someone manning the counter at all times. The pool is also large enough to swim laps. 4) Short walk to both weekend markets. Salcedo Weekend Market (Saturday) and Legazpi Sunday Market. 5) Great service overall. They have turn-down service every night. Also, amenities are well maintained and clean. 6) Breakfast spread is equivalent to paid quality buffet outside.

My family and I stayed at DIscovery Primea for 3 nights. The room/apartment was fabulous, clean and ideal for a family as it was a large sized apartment. The beds were comfortable and the ensuite bathroom facilities in each room were immacuate. The breakfast was amazing and the breakfast staff were so freindly and helpful each morning.. Location is excellent in Makati. The pool was lovely and the poolside bar was nice. I have to say all of the hotel staff were amazing, professional, and welcoming and could not do enough for us. Especially the concierge and the front desk staff who were extremely helpful.

I would stuggle to find fault with anything during our stay. The only small reccomendation I would make is the poolside bar service is very slow and could do with a little improvement.

A true luxury experience with an amazing infinity pool. The penthouse bar at night is a highlight. Convenient location across from a mall and not too far from the airport—ideal even for a layover. Breakfast was outstanding: three rooms filled with both local specialties and international classics. Attentive breakfast staff, even quick to help if you’re rushing for a flight.

The air conditioning couldn’t be properly turned off, making the rooms uncomfortably cold. Credit card policy was inconvenient—without one, every family member had to pay extras separately for spa, gym, etc.

Loved the quality and large amount of choices available at the buffet breakfast - both Filipino, Western etc, and the expresso coffee was good too. The room was lovely - bed and pillows especially were super comfortable. The pool looked good but we did not swim. The bar on the rooftop / balcony was a lovely spot for a drink after a long day of travelling. All the staff were delightful - very proactive and friendly - nothing was too difficult for them to accommodate. They made the final leg of my friend's 50th birthday tour perfect with a cake in the room on arrival and some 'towel art' on the bed. Thank you!

The pool was closed during the day for renovations unfortunately, only opening from 4pm. That was a pity as we would have made use of it during the day. Would have loved a water filter in our room so that we could avoid bottled water and just refill instead. We had to request a kettle but it was delivered promptly.

My stay at Discovery Primea was beyond expectations. The breakfast was very delicious and diverse. I personally booked an Executive Suite, which was very spacious and offered a beautiful view of the city. I would also like to highlight the pool, which has a truly stunning view of part of the city — just as other guests of the hotel have mentioned. The pool water is heated, which I really liked. The only downside was the bad weather, as it rained every day. But of course, that has nothing to do with my rating or with the hotel itself.

We stayed in a 2br primea suite for one night. The room was spotless, generously sized and very comfortable. The beds were great and rooms well air conditioned. The added washing machine and dryer were very useful. We made use of the fantastic pool (not too deep for kids). I had the best massage I’ve ever had from the spa. The staff are very courteous and friendly. We were tired, so had room service for dinner - which was delicious - served at the dining table in our room. Breakfast was included in our booking and delicious with good latte. We would definitely stay here again. Security was very tight and we felt very safe.

We stayed here for a total of two nights at the start and end of our three week holiday in the Philippines: - The hotel is only 15 minutes away from the airport - The hotel looks great, and has a number of restaurants inside which are all good quality. - The value for money of the rooms was excellent. The rooms were spacious, quiet and very comfortable with an excellent shower and bath. - The hotel also has a rooftop infinity pool and hot tub, alongside the best equipped hotel gym I’ve ever seen (as in, it’s actually a gym and not just one treadmill!). - There are numerous other services on offer, such as a wellness clinic and spa but we did not try these.

- Nothing - this was one of the best hotels we stayed in the Philippines and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Manila.

The staff at Discovery is amazing - friendly, professional and always with a smile. They made you feel home. The facilities are great and the room has everything you need. Breakfast has pretty good choices (both local and international) and the food at both in-room dining and the Tapenade is just top-notch. Their paella is the best in Asia.

The only thing we were missing is real hot water to take a good bath. At best, it was around 37 degrees. However, the duty managers kept following up on this issue and they even offered us to change room to a different floor.

We decided to have a staycation in the city for our wedding anniversary. Staff were friendly and accommodating. From the front desk, the concierge, the gym staff, the restaurant staff, and housekeeping staff, their service went above and beyond our expectations. Thank you for the surprise room upgrade and surprise anniversary cake. We had dinner and breakfast at Tapenade, food was so good! Also they have the comfiest bed we've ever slept in, among all the hotels we have stayed. This was a great value property. It’s October and thought the food prices were extremely affordable, as well as the room itself. The pool was a great experience, no need to go anywhere to relax. We enjoyed a beer at the bar and great views. I want to point out the included breakfast was a 10/10 buffet. They had everything, I can’t believe that was included on top of the affordable price for my double room.

Bed sizes, won’t take points away, but be aware of bed sizes overseas vs Philippines. I booked two “double” beds for two adults, two kids. The beds were smaller than a U.S. full. Maybe a tad larger than a twin. I would make sure you reserve two king sizes instead, because they do not have Queen in this hotel. Other than that, everything was perfect. Amazing room service food and very comfortable bed and bedding.
