I stayed at New World Hotel Makati and overall had a pleasant experience. The lounge was a real highlight — stylish, comfortable, and ideal for both business and leisure. Service was exceptional, with Jimmy, our waiter, providing attentive, professional, and genuinely warm hospitality. That said, the rooms felt dated and would benefit from modernization. The TV system was also limited, with no option to connect to Netflix or YouTube, which many travelers now consider standard. Another drawback was the coffee served at breakfast in the lounge, which unfortunately had a chlorinated aftertaste. Despite these issues, the staff and lounge made the stay memorable. With updated rooms, improved in-room entertainment, and better breakfast coffee, this hotel could truly deliver a five-star experience.

A must improve maybe, (1) Wifi connection (2) Videt at public toilet (near the main lobby) The rest, acceptable as it is. I must suggest for an interior upgade of the room finishes. And change the extra bed if not pleasing to the eye. To impress the Guest well. Kindly focus on the impressions of every Guest as per the value. It will add prestige to all. We looked at many hotels before selecting the New World Makati. Our stay was amazing. The location was perfect, the hotel beautiful, the food and beverages delicious with great entertainment and impeccable service. Everyone we encountered at the hotel was delightful but a few names stand out. We always make a point to learn the names and get to know the incredible staff that take such great care of us. We were greeted at the front desk by the lovely Grace. She checked us in and gave us a beautiful room. As we arrived late, we had just missed the evening cocktails and food included in our upgrade in the Living Room on the 24th floor. I would highly recommend this upgrade. Even though the cocktail hour had ended, the incredible host, David asked the chef to prepare us something to eat and gave us wonderful cocktails. The quality of food and beverages from breakfast, to afternoon snacks to evening cocktails was consistently delicious and the service impeccable. Some of other wonderful staff in the Living Room were Kate, Issa, Jimmy and Ella. Our evening entertainment in the lounge was world class. I did not get the singers name but she had a beautiful voice and commanding presence. Thank you to Rhea and Owen for taking such great care of us. Don’t miss the excellent gym and beautiful pool. Thanks to Freeman for the laughs, drinks and great service. If you need to get anywhere around town, Robert and Aki at the front entrance will find you cars, taxis as well as suggesting places to go and things to see. As we checked out to head for the island part of our vacation, we were greeted by front desk manager, the warm and gracious Liza who wanted to make sure our stay was perfect. We shared with her that it was more than amazing. The staff of this hotel certainly embodies the warmth and friendliness of the Philippine people and are the sparkling jewels in the crown known as the New World Makati.

I've stayed many times at New World and keep coming back as it is one of the best hotels in Makati while also being fairly priced. Located right across from the excellent Greenbelt Mall, the rooms are spacious and comfortable and the staff universally friendly and helpful. The gym is very nice as is the pool which is well suited to swimming laps. Breakfast is also excellent

It's a bit of a quibble but as an older hotel, the bathrooms could use a bit of refurbishment, particularly the showers. But that said, the rooms are kept in good order and overall the hotel is very clean and well maintained.

Great location right across the Ayala commercial complex. Exemplary customer service and training, from desk and service staff to security. The breakfast buffet was something to look forward to. The pool and free spa facilities were also great.

The bathroom has been shoddily maintained at spots—badly overapplied white silicone sealant, cheap plastic shower head, dated separate hot/cold taps, worn plastic bathtub. Everything was functioning well but it did leave a bad impression of not having concern for details. The weight room also seemed like it has seen better days—equipment was old and incomplete.

Nice hotel, met my expectations for the price. Staff was friendly, accommodating, and attentive, and the rooms were nice and clean. Location was great, just being across the street from the Green Belt Mall on the southern side of Makati. No major complaints besides common hotel issues.

House keeping was loud everyday, and the soundproofing of the rooms was not great. If you want to sleep late, then you might find it difficult with noise from the hallway from house keeping or people letting their doors slam shut. Hotel Management, please tell your house keepers to not let doors slam, and to not prop the doors open with the latches while cleaning. This is an important but often missed detail that goes a long ways towards a nice, restful stay.

The location was perfect as it was near shops and restaurants. Daily breakfast was great … loved daily variety of the dishes and also loved the fresh juices.

Internet was spotty aDN even lost internet for one day. There was also one day that we didn’t have cable.
