Amazing hotel with everything you need. The pool, the gym, spa, and other recreational activities is top notch. The hospitality is exceptional. Philippino has the greatest respect ever. You will always love the people. They great your from the heart and respectful. Jade was the best, cleaned our rooms, sort us out with amenities. Amazing bloke of a person. You won't regret booking this Amazing hotel. The breakfast is amazing. Chinese restaurant in the hotel. Close to pretty much everything you need. The mall is close by if you want to go out to eat. The staff are friendly and reliable. Tell you what you need to know. Just book it and enjoy the Amazing experience of Makati and Manila. I'm coming back for another stay.

A very comfy, very classy hotel, placed in a very good neighborhood (financial district, old airport tower, close to current airport and few malls). Very polite staff and very exquisite atmosphere.

Making the room required some effort. No button, no ”make up my room” card. Might have been an exception for that very room, but is fair to mention it. 45 min for getting some ice in the room is not quite the norm for a 5* hotel. Getting also an invite to book your own taxi on Grab is equally not the norm for a 5*. Quick warning: the slabs in the bathroom were extremely slippery when wet. I can clearly see the legal trouble coming rather sooner than later. Lastly, the smokers terrace (3rd floor) was resembling rather as a prison walk in inner court than a comfy 5* place. 4 tables, 4 chares and two fixed ash trays, standing in a corner.

Second of 3 overall stays during me and my wife's Asia trip celebrating a milestone birthday of hers. Exceptional and unquestionable service as always. This is why they have the reputation they have. Tried their lobby restaurant which was fantastic from what we ordered and left us more satiated than we expected with no room for dessert. Highly recommended as always. We will be returning again for our final stay in 10 days (as of the 14th of March) and as per our first stay, we were able to leave some of our non essential luggage with them for safe keeping. A++

No complaints whatsoever.

Everything was perfect. Very well organised and super friendly staff. It was just a very relaxing and great stay. The breakfast was very nice. The buffet is extremely diverse.

When we entered our hotel room the temperature was just below 18 degrees Celsius which is just freezing and way too cold. We adjusted the air conditioning and turned it off while sleeping and the temperature was between 23 and 24 degrees Celsius which is just perfect considering it's always hotter than 25 degrees Celsius outside and around 30 degrees Celsius in the afternoon. Energy consumption is way better if the air conditioner temperature are set some degrees higher.

Location design of hôtel services staff all. Everything was perfect. Mr Erik from the desk office is very nice good man, helped us and care us a lot. Professionnel smile always. He desseves very good appréciation.

The happy hour for alchool is only from 5pm to 7pm. Westerner tourist people come back to the hôtel after 7pm. Westerner customer diner time is after 8pm. How can we profit of alchool time? Also the smoking zone is not covered in case of rain. During my stayed there, it was raining every day then was not easy for me not convenient for smoking. Need gazebo and more chair.

The hotel isn't too far from the airport. The staff were brilliant, helpful, fast and great at communicating. The room itself is spacious, clean and enough for 2 nights stay. Excellent sized gym with sauna, steam room, cold dip and jacuzzi attached.

This isn't an incident with the hotel but another guest where an Asian man touched my husband without consent twice after being told 'no' and 'stop' at the sauna room. I have informed the staff at the wellness centre and hopefully they have investigated this by checking the cctv camera outside the changing room to find out who the guest was. This shouldn't be happening where a man feels vulnerable in supposedly safe space.

Booked for my mom and her friend for an event. She said it was nice. Event was okay. She did not complain about anything which was good.

I had a few conversations with the staff online trying to clarify check-in time. Took a bit more effort since we had to personally call front desk or staff to clarify check-in time. Issue was cleared out after the call. So tip for future bookers. If staff don't reply within a few hours, maybe call them to clarify any booking or time issues. I believe this will apply to any and every booking made to every hotel.

This was a splurge for us, but with this our first trip to Manila, I wanted to make sure we felt extra comfortable. We arranged an airport transfer, and we were greeted by a man in what looked like a very warm red hotel uniform. He guided us to our car, which was immaculately clean with a friendly and professional driver. The hotel is in a fantastic location if you choose to stay in Makati. It is surrounded by shopping malls that also contain tons of food options. Makati is very safe, and we felt fine walking around later into the evening. The hotel's breakfast buffet is massive and fancy, with probably five or six different stations. The gym and pool are also something to write home about - don't miss out on the sauna, hot tub, and cold plunge in the locker rooms!

When we first arrived in our room, it smelled strongly of paint. Luckily, our window opened, so we could air out the space a bit. I will also mention this because it is relevant to some foreigners like us - you will have to put your stuff through an X-ray and walk through a metal detector every time you enter the hotel. They even inspect all cars pulling up to the hotel with sniffing dogs. I definitely saw it as a positive, but I could see how some could see it the other way. As much as they are practical, these precautions are there to make you feel safe and comfortable in what can feel like a very chaotic city.

The staff, the chef , the location, room, facilities, swmmingpool, spa, jacussi, steam, everything was alright and perfect, the breakfast is so delicious, but because we booked at the HorizonClub the lounge is also good but the foods is limited not much to choose unlike other 5star hotel is much to choose,, but we are are so happy anyway and satisfied for what is available, The family of my brother was so very happy and amazed of their memorable stay in Shangri La and many thanks to the staff for arraging to uppdate my booking as will granted connecting door to our room. I was also grateful to the staff to allowed for the storage of our baggage for few hours and the little cute girl for booking a grab for us,, We wish we stay again to Shangri La Once again thank you so very much to all the Shangri La staff, for being a nice and hospitality,,👍 God bless us all🙏

The room was comfortable and spacious, perhaps getting a little dated compared to other places. The gym facilities were excellent and I will stay again if only for your Fitness center and friendly staff. My wife and I enjoyed taking afternoon tea in the lobby area and listening to your musicians - this was very special for us especially the violin players, what a wonderful touch that was.

The only real criticism is with the pillows. These are too soft and without support. The wife and I have Latex pillows at home, they are not so expensive these days but hold shape and firmness that ensures a comfortable night's sleep.
