Its location is excellent. Clean room and yummy-comfy sheets with an awesome view of Manila Bay, plus the elevator being conveniently accessible to our room made our stay perfect. Easy check-in. Staff handled our check-out with so much tact and grace. We opted to extend our stay in the end. Love the multi-purpose soap (was that castile?). Was impressed how we didn't have to struggle with water temp adjustment in the shower, likewise with the aircon, TV, and the Wi-Fi connection. Everything was a breeze! These little things often add stress to our stay in other places. And so, we are simply grateful that these were well thought-out by Hop Inn Ermita to bring the best service to its guests. Plus: 7-11 just beside it. The drinking station by the elevator is accessible 24 hours. They do not provide hotel slippers and robes. But we're happy that the shower room was equipped with a heavy-duty hair dryer. Drinking glasses were provided. The bed provides ample space below it for your luggage. Means were made to maximize the space of the suite, allowing for the basic yet important necessities available, including a safe in the open closet.

Only 1 bedside table. We didn't ask, though. So, we aren't sure if the hotel is flexible on this if we requested another. Noise/Sound from rooms can be heard from the corridor, which made us realize that we can be heard from outside, too, if we aren't mindful. It's not too much of a downside, but we just found it unusual (It can actually be a plus during emergency situations). It is good to note that once inside our suite, we do not hear any sound from the adjacent rooms. Note: No hotel phone in the room. Front Desk/Management is reached via Viber.

A very relaxing and enjoyable three nights at this hotel. The room was quiet, clean, comfortable and well maintained. Everything was in excellent working order from the quiet, split system A/C ( very important) to the warm shower. Housekeeping staff were friendly and informative. Thanks to Ryan at reception for displaying professionalism and surprised me with an early check-in, as my room happened to be already cleaned. The view of Manila Bay was awesome and there is a delightful coffee shop next door. Thanks to all.

It was a bit expensive.

The cleanliness is beyond expectation. 24/7 viber and what'sapp channel is opened for assistance to guests instead of intercom phone. It's fantastic. The big enchilada is zero plastic use inside the hotel (even no plastic bag in the trash bin). I totally support hotel's environmentally friendly policy. 7 Eleven store is next to the lobby. This is very convenient for the guests. Hotel location is not very far from the most famous instagrammable spot "Intramuros Spanish-era landmarks". I got there via grab taxi with very cheap fare 142 PHP.

It would be better if a small refrigerator is provided inside the room. But every floor has equipped with hot/cold water dispenser as common use.

Over the course of 3 weeks we stayed at this property. The staff were always super nice and accommodating. If we ever needed anything we could call the front desk or we could use the Whatsapp chat feature. Staff were super quick to come to room if needed. Front desk were always greeting us, and in 3 weeks, we maybe opened the front door 2 times, they were always quick to let us in. The rooms were always super clean, and were great for the price paid. The hotel is only 2 blocks away from Robinson Mall. Stayed here 3 weeks, will be staying here again very shortly.

Wifi was okay and slow at times, but not bad for free wifi. I wish the property had a fridge and microwave in rooms, but not a huge draw back. Sometimes they would forget to fill the soap dispensers, but you could chat them and they would come right up. So overall, no real bad things to say.

Accessible place for public transport and wakable going to restaurants and the bay walk area

We had total of 14 rooms booked and an additional 2 rooms during the stay. This hotel will keep you waiting for checking in. They don't even cake to think of preparing the hotel key card before guest arrives the fact that we checked-in almost 7pm so we ended up waiting too long when you're already exhausted having your domestic flight plus a day trip in Tagaytay. Only one staff at Front Desk to check the group. This hotel is a mess for group check in if they're to do this kind of move.

Clean room. Great customer service by the staff. Excellent security which you can trust. Could even borrow the iron conveniently as I had to iron my shirts for the conference I was attending. The bed was comfortable. The lighting inside the room was warm and sufficient. The overall ambiance and vibe was unforgettable. Place was close to Robinson mall and you really don't even need to visit any other mall.

The dustbin was a bit small. But honestly, this is not even an issue. I think the hotel is 10/10.

I like the location. It's near Robinsons. Staffs are nice. The hotel looks safe since the elevator also uses keycard.

The floor in the room is sticky. Looks like it was not moped properly. No slippers. The room is not sound proof, you will hear the opening and closing of doors in the other rooms. My door lock is broken, they tried to fix it but they cant figure out if the problem is the door lock or the key card. They cant fix it after how many tries, until they decided to transfer me to other room.

The Location of he hotel, it's very accessible to malls, restaurants and establishments. It has 711 on the ground floor. The hotel itself and the rooms is spacious and the bed is comfortable. The staff and guards were very accommodating and helpful. We even extend our stay of another 1 day. The Price is very affordable and service was exceptional.

Nothing. Definitely it will be on the top of my list where to stay in manila.

The Hop Inn is a great hotel. 24/7 service desk, wifi, refillable water stations at each floor, spacious rooms with airco, hot water and a TV screen. It was a very comfortable stay. The location also is good, 15 min from the aquarium, 30 min from the harbor, several malls close by, and a 7-eleven right next door. Only negative is maybe that the sea side of Manila is not that nice, so if you book the seaside view, you'll mostly see container ships floating around.

The room was small but cozy, with all the essentials like a comfortable bed, good air-conditioning, and a spotless bathroom. The staff was friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with a smile. While the hotel doesn’t have extras like a minibar or a gym, the price point more than makes up for it.
