The staffs were friendly and all smiles all the time, very accommodating, and the food was great.. The place is near to the malls, in front there are restaurants, laundry shop, massage centers, hair salon..very convenient to whatever the purpose of your stay. So far with our 1 week stay, it did not coast us a lot considering the situation of our emergency stay, it was out of the budget, yet, we spent right for a comfortable stay. Highly recommended.

Good location. Excellent value for money. It is basically clean and safe. Very nice compared to the atmosphere outside. I decided to stay for two weeks.

Beds should be made up. I asked several times and the staff said they would, but they didn't, so I gave up. The lobby is spacious and comfortable, but the prohibition of bringing in food and beverages and the high pricing of beverages is offensive. For a bottle of coke, you can have a set meal outside with coke. The showers are prone to fill up with water and almost overflow. They should use a liquid that improves the plumbing. The male staff and security guards were courteous, but the female staff seemed little less hospitable by comparison.

Absolutely loved the modern and clean design of the room and the bathroom, the great customer service, the fact that there were lots of outlets in the room, the mini fridge and hairdryer, the dispensers for shampoo and soap (minimizing plastic waste!), the rooftop bar, and the water dispenser on my floor near the elevators. Poblacion, Rockwell, Burgos, and even the CBD are just a short walk away.

Although I was placed in one of the quieter rooms of the hostel, the soundproofing still had some issues as I could hear the mass at the church outside and the sound of the TV in the room beside mine. It was good that the aircon was a bit loud as it was able to slightly drown out the noise of the TV. Although the towels smelled freshly laundered, they didn't look super clean as they were old and have been used over and over before. The double bed was two mattresses together, which would be uncomfortable if you liked rolling around the bed. I just chose which side I was going to sleep on (one of the mattresses was not as firm as the other one).

The room we rented "Family room with private bathroom" matches the photos, but the stairs to the second level are quite steep and uncomfortable. The staff is kind and helpful. The location is good, close to mall and market.

There were cockroaches crawling in our room and the bedroom mattress is on the floor. There are no clothes hangers and the room is very narrow and small for 3 or 4 people. The beds on the second level also have a mattress on the ground. One cannot stand upright at one's bedside. There is no place for luggage.

It’s a good location in Makati near to many places, including the airport by mototaxi, if you are a solo traveler with a bag pack you can use a Grab moto for 150 pesos ish and save money. If you book at Lub d make sure to add the breakfast, it’s buffet style and it’s a good deal.

It’s my second time staying here, I did two years ago and the same problems continue. The shower constantly gets clogged and the full shared bathroom area gets flooded. Even the staff looks like tired of keep cleaning the water, that’s the only negative thing, besides that, everything’s good!

The beds were very comfortable. Shower and bathroom facilities were good and although I didn’t use them the washing and ironing equipment was good to have. Food and drink upstairs were good - slightly more than you’d pay elsewhere but very convenient and lovely evening/sunset view from the roof. Walk to the main Greenbelt area is about 20 mins. Good anytime fitness about 5 mins walk.

Curtains on bed didn’t reach across. Lift was very hit and miss - at least they have stairs. There were people working nights staying in my dorm so it was dark all the time with no talking in the room.

- Dorms/cubicles are spacious and beds are comfy - Bathrooms are being cleaned regularly - Washing machine and dryer are available - Fairly good location/not too far from the airport Finally, shoutout to the Security men downstairs for always greeting everyone with a smile! :) they watch out for Grab drivers when you leave/arrive at the premises and help with luggage/push the lift button for you. I just thought that was so nice!

- Aircon was a bit loud but you get used to the sound - I wish the curtains were long enough to cover the whole cubicle for more privacy - Showers work well but could use some paint - Wifi was spotty for video calls - The Pumphouse Café does not have any alternative mik

- in dormitory room, everyone has their own large locker for suitcases and hangers and a small cabinet next to the bed, e.g. for documents/wallet - nice staff at the 24-hour reception - a few beds in the room - but you feel comfortable - a lot of space - they change the towel - in the bathroom you don't have to wait in line for a shower/toilet - the staff takes out the garbage and washes the floor on a regular basis - on the roof - skybar - you can eat breakfast, lunch or have a drink - a common place to relax - good localization

- minus only for the showers - they are often used by guests, so it is difficult to keep them perfectly clean

The Hostel: Well designed private room and common area. Relatively clean and in decent condition. Showers include hot water and good water pressure. Nice rooftop offering decent food, drinks and awesome views of the city. The Stay: The bed was very comfortable and the noise level is kept to a minimum. Air conditioner runs well. Location is ok, but requires a bit of travel to most attractions. However, everything is easily accessible via Grab taxi, scooter or metro. The Service: The staff were very kind and helpful.

Surface areas could have been cleaner. WiFi network only worked from the lobby (no connectivity from my room).

Stayed at Lub d and now I lub it! 🧡 The vibes were immaculate, the beds comfier than my life decisions, and the staff? Friendlier than your group chat after 3am. Would definitely come back – but this time with less luggage and more sunscreen

Honestly, I loved everything about Lub d, the vibe, the people, the energy. My only complaint? That I had to check out eventually. Still recovering from the heartbreak. 💔😂
