I would strongly recommend staying at the Sheraton Grand Hotel. Their attention to detail was outstanding. Sometime you see pictures online that don’t resemble where you are staying but I can confirm that what you see in the pictures is what you get. Their staff were fantastic, nothing was a problem. There is one small thing that I would suggest to the hotel to do, is to have a plate warmer. Especially for breakfast time but other than that first class. Breakfast was outstanding, everything that you could think of was there. Root top bar with sunsets in the evenings and over looking the river, stunning. We ordered a breakfast box because we were going on tour the next morning and the spread of stuff that they gave us, unbelievable, I have put a picture of it in with the photos. Thank you again and I will be back.

Location was perfect, view on river & castle, close to city center and main attractions. Room had enough space, well decorated, comfortable bed, clean except for glasses at bar (3 out of 4 were dirty, not usable except if washed them yourself, not acceptable for 5star hotel). Also I had to ask for room service in the afternoon as no one showed up. A daily room service is a must for a 5star hotel. Breakfast was very good, lot of choice, shame the pancakes were cold, otherwise perfect. Although few minus points, I can recommend this hotel.

As said the room service should be better. Dirty glasses at arrival is a no go. No room service as well. This should be better for 5 star hotel.

The hotel’s breakfast was exceptional, offering a wide variety of fresh, high-quality options, from fluffy pastries to perfectly cooked eggs and gourmet coffee. The attention to detail and impeccable service made every morning feel like a five-star dining experience. What I loved most was the thoughtful touches from the hotel, making our stay truly special. They welcomed our son with a chocolate dragon’s egg in our room, and after we upgraded, we were delighted to find local delicacies waiting for us. Even more impressively, the hotel discovered it was our anniversary and surprised us with a cake and wine. How thoughtful is that? I felt genuinely well cared for and appreciated every detail.

There was nothing I didn’t like in general—everything about my stay met or exceeded my expectations.

The property was excellent, with the exception of the air conditioning.

The air conditioning was marginal in the room and very poor in the main area of the hotel that included the reservation desk and restaurant area. We felt sorry for the hotel staff working in very warm and humid conditions. Management should spend money to correct the air conditioning problem that spans the entire hotel.

The location is perfect, 10 minutes walk to Rynek the main market square. Hotel looks over Wisla river and Wawel castle. The beds were heaven, aswell as the breakfast. The main lounge area is very cosy despite the big surface,and atrium, with several different private sitting areas and nice lighting. The staff is very helpful and friendly, with a discrete overall presence, ,the perfect hospitality. also late in the evening with any question. The provided umbrella`s were a welcome help with heavy rains. I enjoyed the renewed swimming pool and jacuzzi which is open from 7- 10 p.m. I didn`t want to leave, and will come back another time for sure.

Check in was very quick, efficient and friendly - great first impression. First impressions of the building and location absolutely excellent - the hotel looks stunning inside and out, sitting right by the river and castle. Rooms not the biggest, but very clean and well appointed. Restaurant facilities excellent and again, staff very friendly and attentive. The rooftop bar offers stunning views of the river and is a great facility.

Great location and the inside of hotel is stunning. Best selection of cold breakfast buffet. Hot breakfast selection needs some work.

We stayed for three nights over New Year paid a let of money for our room and paid a premium price for New Year’s Eve which worked out to be about £450 to find out that we couldn’t even get a drink around 11:30 in the evening which is absolutely appalling wouldn’t even let us take a drink to our room Kind of ruined our break. Really sad when you’re paying so much money.

Breakfast was amazing anything you like is available and everything is really delicious. the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. the mini bar is full there is a kettle, espresso machine and all kinds of teas or instant coffee if you like. The room had an amazing view specially at night with the city lights striking on water. You are in a walking distance from Wawel Castle and the city center (only few hundred meters to the castle and 800 meters to the city center). The walk next to the river is amazing in the mornings. Parking is available inside the premises which was a huge plus for me.

my only comment with be the music put in the mornings since 7 when the breakfast hours start and in the evening till 11 or 12 depending. during the week its no problem but during the weekend if you would like to sleep few more hours it will be challenging.

What an absolutely amazing hotel! The staff were exceptional, so polite and attentive. We stayed for our anniversary and had a little plate in our room with chocolates, which was a lovely gesture. The room was big, with comfortable beds and a cot there waiting for us. The food at the rooftop was great and the view just makes the experience even better. If I had to pick a favourite part, it would be the breakfast. One of the best breakfasts we’ve had. So much choice of fresh food and the staff were very attentive at replenishing. All the staff were well trained and friendly, they made us as a family feel very comfortable and they were always interacting with the baby. To feel comfortable as a new family is important to as and they really went above and beyond. I hope to visit krakow again, and there is no doubt that we would be choosing this hotel.

Very friendly and helpful staff, keen to chat. Breakfast is excellent. Location for the old town and buses is great. Spa facilities are great, pool a bit short for lap swimming but there is a water jet/current to swim against. Beds are super comfortable.

The bedroom windows don’t open, but the air con is good at controlling the room temperature. The rooms are sound proofed. The bedroom windows in some rooms look into the internal court/dining area which I wouldn’t like, but maybe ok for others. The only English speaking/translated TV channels are news channels.
