Excellent location. Knowledgeable staff. Great rooftop bar and restaurant. A memorable city to visit.

We chose Kossak mainly becaus of its excellent position to walk to the city centre (which is only a 5 minute walk away). At the check in, we were told that the hotel will be undergoing a major renewal and that we would be the firsts to experience the new room's layout. The accomodation was excellent, cozy, super clean, with all the possibile commodities and showing a fantastic design. Bathroom and shower were big and super comfortable. Breakfast was among the best we've tried all over Europe and the breakfast room is top-notch! The staff is super discrete, helpful, responsive, competent and always smiling. Bravi!

Honestly there hasn't been a single flaw in any aspect...

We stayed here during our trip from Japan. Although we had booked a standard room, we were kindly upgraded to a suite as there was availability. The room, including the bathroom, was extremely clean and comfortable, and the view of Wawel Castle from the window was absolutely stunning. The staff spoke in clear and simple English, considering that our English was not very fluent, which made communication stress-free. We also had żurek at the rooftop restaurant, and it was absolutely delicious. If we visit Kraków again, we would definitely love to stay here once more.

The only slight downside was that the hotel is a bit far from Kraków Central Station. We visited the Auschwitz Museum from Kraków Central Station and traveled to Warsaw after checking out, so it was a little inconvenient. However, arranging a taxi through Uber only cost around 1,000 yen one way, and the hotel has excellent access to the Old Town. So, if a little extra effort isn't a problem, I think it wouldn’t be an issue.

Warm welcome, very competent, friendly staff. Fresh new carpets throughtout, in fact the whole hotel's furnishings appeared to be new. Sumptuous breakfast, I cant think of a simple item that was not available! However I would recommend the hotel due to its beautiful location, cleanliness and very helpful, happy team.

Rooftop restaurant closed. The big downside for us was, the refubishment had not been completed in the roof top restaurant. THIS WAS THE REASON I HAD CHOSE THE HOTEL. We were very disappointed. We had not been fore warned !

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Kossak in Krakow. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making check-in and the overall experience smooth. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained. The larger of the two rooms had additional facilities including robes, slippers and a good quality coffee machine. One of the highlights was the exceptional breakfast, offering a great variety of fresh and delicious options,both hot and cold. The hotel is conveniently located close to the main centre, and for added convenience, there’s a nearby tram stop that makes exploring the city even easier. Also would like to mention the hotel transfer although more expensive than a taxi was in a luxury vehicle with great communication beforehand. I was very pleased with paying the additional cost. Would highly recommend!

Only issues I had were the shower layout over the bath didn't make much sense meaning it felt there wasn't much space to enjoy your shower. Not a dislike but just a comment, if you want to use the shower give notice as it is not left on.

Food at breakfast was outstanding, best hash browns I've ever had and good selection of meats (hot and cold) pastries and breads. Something for everyone. Staff were very helpful, it was my partners birthday and I asked if they could put a cake in the room for our arrival, they did with no extra cost. We had to leave before breakfast on our last day so they made us a breakfast box to take to the airport. Had an incident where, after booking, we found out we were arriving a day early due to the airline moving our flights and they happily amended the booking at the same price per night as agreed on booking.com The bed was huge, our view was really good (5th floor, castle view) and it was reasonably priced. The bathroom was really good and the room seemed to have little extras that we needed, boot cleaning kit, sewing kit (partner ripped a hole in her coat pocket). Would 100% book here again if I returned to the city.

Only minor downsides, felt like a slightly longer walk to the market square than anticipated and limited TV facilities which is fair enough, as you don't go away to watch tv but during those "rest hours" in the afternoon, it might have been nice to have something familiar on in the background.

The location was ideal, about 10 minutes walk through a pleasant area to the Main Square. Our room, deluxe double, had a stunning view of the river and Wawel Castle. I had, before arrival, emailed the hotel and they arranged a taxi from the airport and also helped with the arrangements to visit Auschwitz. On arrival we were given a list of suggested restaurants, compiled by previous guests….really helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the hotel was very clean. Breakfast was varied and very relaxing…..never rushed or crowded.

Excellent hotel with super friendly staff who did everything they could to make our stay perfect! Breakfast was superb, beds very very comfortable, showers and free sauna very good, towels and bathrobe supersoft, very clean everywhere, and the balcony had an amazing view on the castle and the river was just soooo nice!

Lovely hotel. Super friendly, helpful staff speaking really good English. Quality room/bathroom. Great breakfast options. Quality packed lunch provided for early morning trip pick up. Great location for both old town and Jewish quarter.

Our only minor issue was the in room a.c. Despite helpful staff trying to solve the temperature issue it was uncomfortably hot over night, every night! Without this issue it would definitely have been a 10/10

Excellent quality of… everything! Exceptional, really! Beautiful room, small but had all it takes and every detail was taken care of!!! The most comfortable beds ever, even the carpet was pleasant to walk on. A rare pearl.

The staff was obviously not happy about us being there for breakfast until 10 am despite the breakfast being served until 10 am. I’m sure it can be solved with a better communication between management and staff or between reception and the guests.
