Very clean, great hospitality, the team and manager were really nice. Breakfast was excellent. The bar is small but very nice and it's fun to have a drink before bedtime. We had an issue with the lock on the door (the door didn't lock from the outside and inside) they tried to offer other solutions but after taking care of the problem they refunded us for that night.

The family room is located on the 5th floor and the sealing was tilted (it shows in the pic but it seems larger) so we bumped our head in the sealing all the time. If you're not planning to spend the days in the room it's ok since the bed is very comfortable.

Excellent location near to Old Town (only a 5/10mins walk) but in a little belly quiet location near park and Wawel Castle. Room was spotless and all facilities were as described. Tea and coffee facilities - we needed to buy milk as only coffee crème available. Price was extremely reasonable and would definitely return. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful - couldn’t do enough for us.

Bar area was slightly small but that only added to ambience and quaintness of the hotel. Slight issue with us having twin beds rather than double but that could have been our fault at booking stage.

The whole experience of the hotel was just first class. Very friendly staff who were more than helpful. I have to admit we didn’t use the restaurant as we wanted to explore and eat out, but we used the bar and it was very relaxing. The room we had was perfect. Good size. Very warm considering it was very cold weather while we was there. Even though our room was looking out to the road (like I think most are) you here no road noise at all, and it’s a quiet road anyway. As the rooms are high up you can’t even see the road from your window, and you can enjoy the views of the park. Would really recommend this hotel for everything.

Nothing was not to like.

Room was very well furnished to a high standard, spotlessly clean and fully fitted, albeit quite small. The bed was very comfortable. Pleasant staff and comfortable downstairs reception areas. The location is excellent, less than 5 minutes to the old town, the river and Wawel castle. Area is pleasantly quiet while being centrally located.

Bathroom was very small and borderline uncomfortable to use. Had to step out of the shower and shuffle past the W.C. to have enough space to towel dry, don't expect such cramped facilities in a hotel of this rating & price.

Everything was fantastic! The location was a short walk to most major tourist sites, the staff were all very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was varied and delicious, and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. This was one of the largest hotel rooms and most comfortable beds we've had during our travels in Europe, and everything was very clean and modern. The breakfast buffet each morning had a great selection that varied slightly from day-to-day with a menu of items that could be ordered as well, such as eggs, omelettes, pancakes, and oatmeal. The bar offered a nice area to relax and the drinks we ordered were delicious. We would absolutely stay here again!

Our experience at the Wawel Queen Hotel was spectacular. Not only because it's a great hotel, for its facilities and amenities, but also because of its tremendous team of people. The hotel staff helped us at every turn and offered support during one of our tour excursions that was canceled the day before! And they managed to get us tickets, thanks to their skillful management. We want to thank everyone, but especially Ivo, who accompanied us throughout this entire process. Thank you so much! We plan to return whenever we're in Krakow.

Everything was amazing!

Great location and friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable bar area. Nice breakfast selection of hot and cold food. Comfortable bed and rooms nicely decorated. Eco conscious - only change towels and bedding when requested using towel placement/request card. Prepared takeaway lunch for us as we were leaving for a day trip too early for breakfast - sandwich, muesli bar, fruit, yoghurt and bottle of water.

Needs firmer pillows. Even when shower door is closed properly, the shower leaks - slow draining makes this worse at times. Our room was pretty compact (107) but the other room in our booking was a good size (same room type) so just depends on what you’re assigned.

Location - perfect, next to Wavel castle (as the name of the hotel hints) Room - ours was in the street level which was a bit concern at first but during the weekend stay we did not hear a thing coming from other rooms or from the street. Perfect! Wifi - fair enough, no problems. Breakfast - OK. The offerings were just fine for people who are omnivores or vegetarians. Vegans are also considered so fear not if you happen to be in the premises. Staff - perfect! A few extra requests were delivered without a hitch and planned surprises remained surprises to the end. Regards to Mr. Pawel!

The breakfast was OK although there were few surprises with - my spouse complained the pancakes texture tasted a bit that they were from a powder mix (I guess a matter of taste) - I got myself a poor luck with dried fruits which hurt my teeth while eating the morning porridge but I can't really blame the kitchen for this

We had an incredible stay at the Wawel Queen Hotel! It was comfortable, charming, and everyone who worked there was so nice! The best hotel in Krakow for anybody looking for an intimate and "neighbourhood" place. The location is absolutley fabulous to get anywhere in Krakow (Easy to walk to Market Square less then 10minut) and the hotel is well designed and superlative quality throughout. Not a massive hotel with never-ending facilities.Absolute hidden gem of a hotel. Amazing rooms, with the most comfortable beds,our room was clean and well maintained. They served a delicious breakfast for a little extra charge. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring every detail was perfect. We highly recommend!

Maybe the bar could be open a bit longer.
