Clean place and friendly staff

The smell of cigarettes in the bathroom on the 2nd night-staff said that it happens sometimes that people smoke in the rooms or near extractor fans and smoke goes into other bathrooms through vents and there’s nothing they can do about it 🙁🤷‍♂️

The false fire alarm call was an inconvenience we could have done without!! Only one working lift during our visit was inconvenient - the other was awaiting an engineer More suitable tables for eating food at when ordering from bar / lounge area would have made more sense (the breakfast room was not available for food during our stay). So to accommodate our evening meal which we had been told we didn’t need to make a reservation for the staff had to ask others who were just drinking to move to coffee table type location

The rooms where very clean and very comfortable bed. The breakfast was absolutely amazing. The front desk staff was always very helpful and accommodating everyone spoke very good English and even helped me with speaking my very bad Polish. The hotel is about a 10 min walk to Wavel Castle. The also have parking in the hotel I highly recommend reserving a parking spot. When I come to Krakow again I will stay here again! 10/10

The only small negative thing I can say is the water dispensers on every floor only had flat water. In a stay in Germany they had flat and sparkling water. Almost not worth mentioning, and no impact to the trip at all.

Great location, friendly staff, nice and quiet. Comfy beds and rooms are pretty soundproof. We requested a quiet room and they gave us a room on the fifth floor overlooking a courtyard so no street noise. It was quite warm and there was no air conditioning but it was March so that's understandable and it was easily solved by opening the window a little. My only negative is that the temperature in the shower was a nightmare. It was either roasting hot or freezing cold. Couldn't seem to get a comfortable temperature and my husband had the same issue so ended up having pretty cold showers. Overall, would definitely recommend this hotel though and it was very reasonably priced.

Check in was quick, and the receptionist very friendly and welcoming. Large room for standard, comfortable. Option not to have room serviced every day, with a little treat for doing so Quiet bar and food area for relaxing. Catarina the waitress was an absolute delight. Great service and very tasty food. Helpful bar staff. Great situation, five minutes from Old Town Square and Castle area. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room, with free water too.

Attending to requests quicker. We had no hand soap from arrival for three days. Requested four times at reception. No televisions were working on the entire third floor for our whole stay. We like to see news broadcasts in the morning and evening. Some days very poor clearing of breakfast tables and resetting. On two mornings we had to source our own tableware etc

Staff need better training in terms of speaking to guest. They give wrong information and their tone of voice isn’t welcoming when they get corrected

The location was great. It is 7mins away from Wawel Castle and a few mins away from the old town where the christmas markets are. We checked in at around 11pm so I had to order food from Uber and have it delivered to the reception prior to our arrival even tho I wasn’t sure if they will keep it. Thank God they kept the food in the front desk until we arrive. They saved us since we were really hungry from the trip. The staff were all nice and friendly from the receptionists to the breakfast staff and cleaning staff. I asked a LOT of questions to the receptionists (i’m sorry 🙈) because I was preparing a surprise for my parents who will be traveling with me to Krakow for the first time. I am very thankful to them for being so patient with my questions. Our room was big with coffee/tea machine and complimentary bottles of water. There was also a hand/body lotion in the toilet which was very useful. We also liked that there’s netflix/youtube available on the TV. During our last night in the hotel we found a chocolate with note on our beds left by the hotel staff and we really loved it!! Another plus is the breakfast. We loved the waffle, sausage and muffins. They were very tasty. We had to check out at around 6:30am so we requested a breakfast box the day before. The next morning they gave it to us when checking out, we had baguette with ham, cream cheese & veggies and muffins plus fruits and drinks. This experience exceeded our expectations.

Unfortunately the fire alarm went off at around midnight on the Friday night. There was a recorded message which was obviously telling guests to leave the building but unfortunately we did not speak polish and we felt that there should also be a message in English for those guests not polish as there were a lot of guests staying from other countries. We left along with other guests and it fortunately was a false alarm. We felt there was not enough communication for something that potentially could have been serious. There also should have been some sort of contact from management the next day to make sure that guests were alright after this happened.

Location was great for walking and for access to transport. Hotel was lovely and most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good, particularly the a la carte options and my husband was able to order breakfast to take away on his early tour.

We were planning to have a drink at the bar the night we arrived so my husband went to the bar to order however both barmen who were working totally ignored him. They didn’t even looked at him to acknowledge his presence. We gave up and went out.

Mostly our stay in this hotel was perfect. Employees (of the hotel and bar) are over the top! The room is big, good looking and very comfortable. It is also perfectly clean and quiet. It is not necessarily obvious, but the location is great also to go visit the city center. The parking is a little bit expensive, but very good.

The toilet seat was a little bit broken, moving but nothing very serious. My last little point is that I sadly wasn't able to test the breakfast as I think that it is a little too expensive.
