We paid a little extra for one of the larger rooms and it was absolutely worth it- we had a large corner room with balconies on both sides (had one whole side of the building’s balcony to ourselves!). It was an incredible atmosphere and the swallows flew around the balcony at dusk. Considering how lively it is in the bars downstairs it was quiet when the doors were shut. It had good air con and a ceiling fan. Free wine and water in the room , a lovely bar and restaurant downstairs. All of the staff were lovely. At Browns Boutique you have to walk 2 mins to the central hotel on the other side of the street for breakfast but it didn’t bother us.
I would have liked proper coffee at breakfast instead of from an automatic machine , but the rest of the breakfast was nice

It is really well located—close to Rossio train station, Armazens do Chiado (and the lift to Chiado/Bairo Alto), and the Arco da Rua Augusta. The staff were incredibly helpful, especially Inez. Great comfortable bed with nice linens. Nespresso in the room. The breakfast was exceptional tho served in the building next door. And, even tho I faced the street it was quite soundproof. Wasn’t even sure if there were others in adjacent rooms. I would stay again if I were in Lisbon.
The lift is tiny—if you have significant luggage you will need to ride up alone. My room did not have a wardrobe/closet—there was a small clothes rack in the WC. The all-glass shower and the sink were adjacent to the bed—if you were traveling with someone else , who was not a romantic partner, know that there would be no privacy. Wasn’t an issue for me.

The hotel was cosy, clean, cute and artsy. The staff were very friendly, professional and courteous. The Fred Perry clothing was a nice touch for the staff. The location was excellent. A wonderful hotel. Comfortable pillows too.
The soundproofing of the rooms. A lot of clatter and noise during housekeeping and clatter from other rooms.

This hotel is in about the best possible location to see all parts of the city: shopping, historical sights, city walking, restaurants are all literally on the doorstep. The building is a beautiful classic Lisbon building but has all the modern facilities and and comfort anyone would wish for. There is a very a welcoming overall feel to the place with exceptionally friendly staff. excellent Aperol spritz in the lounge too!!
We made a bad choice for breakfast and had a very strange eggs benedict on a piece of cake and it was stone cold? A bit odd. Everything else was lovely, including the service.

Conveniently located but didn’t suffer from too much noise despite the proximity to the main outdoor dining street nearby The room was very comfortable. I liked the modernised renovation which retained some original features of the building
I had to keep asking for more bottled water. It would be much easier if they just put 2 bottles a day in the room so I don’t keep running out of it I was late to check out by 15 mins and I had someone come banging on my door as if to throw me out for being late. Very unfriendly person. I think they have just one person specifically for this purpose though because the other staff were ok.

I loved the location of the hotel, the bedrooms were beautiful with everything that you needed and a huge mention to the staff who were exceptional. We were greeted by Alfonso, on reception, who was so welcoming and helpful. On approaching Lisbon city centre, there were road closures due to various events taking place in the city and it was very difficult to navigate our way to the hotel. When we eventually arrived at our hotel Alfonso, who was on reception, was so kind and helpful as we both were a little stressed at navigating the city. He informed us of all the hotel benefits and offered us a welcome drink at the bar. The reception and bar area were very nicely decorated.

The location was super convenient. And it was actually very quiet given how central the location was. The staff were fantastic, very helpful and friendly. They upgraded our room and we didn't even ask. The bed was very big and extra comfortable. We received a free welcome cocktail that was refreshing after a long day. The room had all the essentials necessary for a pleasant stay.
This is so minor and didn't detract from our experience at all but the decor was a bit cluttered. I had to move decorative pieces off the nightstand and cafe table in order to have space for my things. But the friendly staff and comfort were worth that small inconvenience

This was the best boutique hotel we have ever stayed at. The location was very perfect and central close to shops, restaurants and the main plaza. Absolutely beautiful and charming. We received an upgrade to a suite with views of the castle. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was stunning and well appointed. We wished we could have stayed longer. The entire vibe of this hotel is very special and retro. Beautifully decorated throughout. The bar and restaurant was excellent. It is a real experience to stay here and well worth it. We will definitely return.
We loved everything.

Browns Boutique Hotel was perfect! We received a free cocktail when we arrived. The staff was so kind and attentive. Very pleasant and helpful. The room was spacious and so clean and beautiful! The bed was very comfortable. We had wrap around terraces in bedroom and bathroom. Great views! Breakfast in the morning was amazing! So much to choose from and all was delicious! My daughter and I were so happy to stay here and very sad to leave. It was a great experience to stay at Browns Boutique and we would most definitely come back again! Thank you all!!!

The hotel is really cozy, with very nice rooms - everything was really fine. All the staff was so heartwarming. When we arrived, they gave us lots of ideas what to do and visit in Lisbon. There is also a bar and a restaurant in the hotel, and they are also very nice. We used to sit there every evening for some drinks. The breakfast is served in another hotel that is only a few steps away. Breakfast was also very good, and all the staff there was really nice as well. The hotel is located near the Praça do Comércio, also near the Rossio, and the Elevador de Santa Justa is not far.
