The location was excellent. Very centrally located, just 150 m from metro station and not far from bus and tram stations. Our appartment was very well equipped and clean. We had everything to prepare our breakfast and freshly baked bread and pastries were served every morning. The bed was very comfortable. Good wi fi. But, the most important is that the people working there were very friendly, willing to give information, offer a smile and a glass of wine! We thank them and we certainly will come back!

The location is fantastic. About a three minute walk to either Rossio Square (metro, trams) or the Placa do Comercio. One of the major pedestrian shopping / restaurant areas is literally the next street over. The staff is exceedingly helpful and attentive, also everyone spoke excellent English which was great. Check in time is 3pm,and it seems to be fairly firm, but they happily watched our bags when we arrived in the morning and had the bags delivered to our room by 5pm when we finally made it back from our first day of exploring the city. The do it yourself breakfast is fantastic and really suited us well. Bread, eggs, oranges for juice, assorted fruit, yogurt, granola and dry cereal each day. Housekeeping replaces the items you use each day so that you are fully stocked for the next. Also milk in the fridge and a espresso machine. There is an elevator which was very nice for moving our luggage and if we were too worn out at the end of the day - though after a day walking around Lisboa, what is another three flights of steps?! Hotel also can arrange a hotel shuttle back which is convenient. Taxi from the airport on the first day was 28 Euro (Feb 2023). We were glad to have done that instead of Metro, while the walk is short, it's cobblestones most of the way to the hotel. Could not recommend this hotel more. If we ever come back to Lisboa, we will certainly look here first. I wish that they had locations in other cities, as other hotels like the Dare Lisbon House would be a must.

Honestly everything was great. Some people might be bothered by the evening music. The hotel's location is excellent, right near the main pedestrian dining and shopping street. Each night, there were street performers playing music to the crowds. We loved standing on the balcony listening to the music as we settled down, but it does seem to go on until around 10 or 1030. One other thing that others might want to know, though it didn't bother us at all, is that the breakfast selection mostly stays the same each day. We weren't bothered by this even after five nights, but it's probably good to know this going in.

It is an authentic accommodation right in the city center. I love this style. The owners are definitely artists or people with artistic sensibilities. But you have to admit a few things. You are in the city center and you may not have a completely peaceful sleep, even if the windows are soundproof. The hotel also has its own original breakfast concept, you don't go to the buffet at 8 o'clock in the morning, but have to prepare it yourself. They will hang fresh pastry on your door handle. It's absolutely amazing that you'll have ingredients in the fridge when you arrive. Including a bowl of fruit on the table and a bottle of water that they refill every new day. You don't have to pay anything. You can easily grab an apple or have some wine poured at the reception. All of this is included in the price of your stay. You don't pay anything extra. And there are quite friendly people at the reception who will gladly advise and help you.

What I definitely didn't like was the hotel's attempt to rip me off for €80. The hotel offers a taxi service from the airport to the accommodation. One way costs €40. That's a disaster. Take an Uber or Bolt and it will cost you a few euros. Specifically, the trip to the hotel cost me €7.95, the trip back €9. That's a huge difference. You can also get to the hotel by metro from the airport.

This was a fantastic stay in a lovely apartment hotel in the perfect neighborhood of Baixa. The room was beautiful with tiles and murals of the old building, with swanky chandeliers and exceptional lighting. We loved the DIY breakfast, with fresh baked goods delivered each morning, with a fruit bowl and refrigerator filled daily - even oranges to make fresh squeezed OJ, The value of this breakfast made the room daily cost an amazing bargain. The marble bathroom was great and a large shower. Truly exceptional stay!

The only small thing was that on one side of the bed, the table was a tiny stool, so it was difficult to place your glass while in bed watching the TV.

We experienced friendly staff, the location was perfect and the room met expectations. The flexibility of being able to have breakfast in the room at the time you want to is also very nice. The Dare Lisbon House offered us everything we hoped and more (we enjoyed the complementary wines). I advise anyone in Lisbon to stay here. As a light sleeper, I was bothered by sounds from the lobby during our first night. Noises can be heard very well in the rooms on the first floor. This can happen with older buildings, and was not a huge problem for me. I purchased some earplugs across the street, and the problem was solved.

The location is great, walking distance to all attractions in Baixa, Chiado and Alfama but on a quiet street with very good restaurants. We stayed in a deluxe apartment on the 4th floor, there is an elevator so getting to our room with luggage was not a problem. Our beds were comfortable and we had a good night sleep. The kitchen is small but big enough to prepare drinks and breakfast. The idea of a self made breakfast is great. All products were provided (tea, coffee, oranges for fresh juice, milk, yogurt, eggs, cereal, jam, butter) and we got every morning fresh rolls and pastry. You can start your day without rushing to the breakfast room. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

The whole experience was fantastic, when arriving in reception we were greeted with tea/coffee/wine and told it was complimentary for our entire stay, if you wanted one, just call down and ask, which we did a couple of times, They also recommended where to go and see around Lisbon including recommending a different tram than the usual one, and or us NOT to wait on the Santa Justa lift if we simply wanted to see the views, we could walk up the stairs to do this. The breakfast was a continental style make it yourself in the room, with fresh fruit, including oranges and an electric juicer, milk, eggs, granola, yoghurts, jams, butter etc. and fresh bread and pastries delivered each morning at 8am. Room was spacious, comfortable and a short walk from lots of tourist attractions. Highly recommend to anyone thinking of going.

The hotel has a lot of character, the staff are really friendly, the location is absolutely perfect for exploring the city. We were there for almost a week and the layout of the room - with a generously sized bathroom and a separate kitchenette - was great for this as it didn’t feel claustrophobic like many hotel rooms do. The provisions and breakfast were a nice touch, especially the fresh oranges with juicer, and pastries every morning. The bed was very comfy!

It was quite noisy in the mornings.

Staff were welcoming and helpful. The suite was comfortable and the bed very comfortable. I have recently had back surgery and did not want to be in a hilly area. The area was very good, convenient to everywhere we wanted to go or to the transport we needed to use. The breakfast arrangements were lovely, and the morning pastries delicious. The bathroom was great, and the coffee good. We avoided the Tuktuks and the 28 tram and did other very much less crowded and enjoyable things, all very close to the Dare Lisbon hotel.

Everything was as expected and we were happy.

The main reasons we chose this hotel were a great location and they had some one at reception 24 hours a day. They lined up a catamaran tour for us and a taxi to get us there, and ordered a taxi to the airport. The bed was comfortable, A/C worked great and there was plenty of hot water. The stocked the kitchen with breakfast items and brought fresh pastries to our door at 8AM. We usually ate the pastries in the morning and would have the eggs and cereal for another meal.

I would much prefer orange juice instead of oranges I needed to squeeze. I never squeezed, I just ate the orange. On our first day, they left 2 bananas, 2 kiwi and 2 pears. We ate the bananas the first day, I cut up the Kiwi the second day and it was not ripe enough to eat and I can not eat pears. I would have appreciated having my bananas restocked.
