Everything was great! Even more! If someone wants to visit Lisbon and be satisfied with their accommodation - this is the place I recommend. First: Booking.com had organized a wonderful meeting for me with the driver Paulo, who helped us with our luggage and drove us to the accommodation address in Baixa for free, which is the very center of Lisbon. Second: Here, after about 6-7 minutes, Fabio came, who fully assisted us with the accommodation. The apartment is large, spacious, with air conditioners (heating/cooling) in the bedroom and living room. All towels were changed every day, and the apartment was cleaning during the time we were on trip. There is a refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, toaster, electric kettle and microwave, and even a washing machine. And across the street, 10-12 meters from the front door, there is a wonderful small restaurant that I recommend. They cook extremely delicious food! All the main landmarks are within a 10-30 minute walk from the apartment: The Elevator from the beginning of the 20th century, the Carmelite Church, which remained as a monument to the devastating earthquake of 1.11.1755, the Church of St. Nicholas, the Monastery of St. George, Commerce Square, Rossio Square, the Maritime Station... We liked everything.

The check in process was easy, I have done the check in at home. We got a code from the digital shop for entering to the apartment. The use of the code was very comfortable. The apartment were very clean and well equipped. It is in the center of Baixia, the location is perfect.

The air condition is only at the salon and one of the rooms, the two other room doesn't have air condition, and I think it is necessary. The elevator reach only the forth floor, so we had to carry all the luggage from the forth floor to the fifth floor by foot, also we had an adult woman with age of 80 and she had difficulty to climb the stairs.

The location was perfect for our family of 4. There are a number of amazing local restaurants nearby and the apartment is surrounded by a shopping area. The apartment is spacious and clean. The beds and pillows were comfortable. There is also a lift.

Nothing much apart from you need to pay one euro for the washing machine capsule, which we didn't know beforehand. However you can always bring your own.

Great location, nicely laid out flat with excellent kitchen/cooking facilities. Excellent clean bathroom/shower. Beds comfortable (mattress quite firm) Plenty of pillows/towels Very clean. Friendly cleaning lady.

The air conditioning was difficult to get working (not intuitive and no instructions). it worked well but left us all with a sore throat (maybe needs cleaning) Lack of lighting in the bedroom - very dim and no bedside lamps.

This location cannot be beat! In the “flat” part of town. Rain was expected during our visit so this was important as the calcada floor tiles are very slippery when wet! Close to many shops, restaurants and metro/bus/trolley stops. Major plus was the elevator (rare for old Lisbon buildings!) for transporting luggages and certainly a relief after a day walking the hills of Lisbon.

Upon arrival the bathroom sink was draining extremely slowly (stopped up?) but it was remedied very quickly. Sofa bed was provided but bedding was not complete- again easily resolved. We would have appreciated some guidance written in English on how to use the washing machine. We had to Google the user manual the that particular model and go from there.

1. Location was great, just a block away from the the busy Rua Augusta. Plenty of food options nearby. 2. It has a washing machine. Really comes in handy when we’re traveling for a long period of time. 3. The ‘contactless’ check in / check out process. Everything was done online, even when we arrived and had to get our apartment through the kiosk, I liked not having the tedious process of dealing with people personally. All the instructions were clear and we checked in and out smoothly. 4. Plenty of storage space and hangers for clothes.

1. Creaky floors. The noise can be distracting at night. 2. Street noise can be heard even with all the windows closed.

Very beautiful, very spacious, such friendly staff (thanks a lot Marla) and the location couldn't be better. Impeccable cleaning and very comfortable. Really great value.

The check in was annoying. Even tho I did the online check in, I needed to use the digital kiosk at the entrance to get my code. The front door was not opening when I arrived and I had to wait for 10 minutes until someone picked the phone. There were 3 families there too and it took long until they did their check in in the kiosk before I could get my code.

perfect little apartment, had everything we needed with lovely traditional Portuguese tiling. the sofa bed aswell as main bedroom was perfect for a trip for me and my mum for her birthday. amazing location, walking distance to everything or a short uber trip to Alfama.

The safe way closed which meant we couldn't use it. its quite noisy so not great if you're a light sleeper. The oven was beeping when we arrived, we informed a member of staff though who got straight on the phone to management and got it fixed.

We booked this apartment for its location, kitchen and washing machine and it delivered on all counts. The location is on the flat part of Lisbon and perfectly situated to walk to many attractions or catch transport. So many shops and restaurants and even a supermarket too. The communication via the message function on Booking.com was always prompt and positive. I had hesitation about there not being anyone at a reception and it all being digital but in the end it worked okay. The online registration beforehand is a must to avoid queues at the one digital kiosk in the main building. The online registration and payment of city taxes was a little clunky but worked, as did the codes. There is a free telephone near the kiosk for help, which we used twice. Responses were quick and helpful. The apartment is spacious enough and comfortable, including the sofa bed. The kitchen was well equipped. The housekeeping lady Adriana was wonderful. Everything was spotlessly clean and she was friendly, welcoming and very helpful.

Comments in reviews refer to the noises you can hear from upstairs and outside. It is an old building so while it is true, we did not find it was a problem. Due to the age of the building the power cuts out if you are using too many appliances at the one time. However, we used the free phone to call and someone was around very quickly to show us how to reboot the power by pressing a particular switch.
