The room we stayed in is beautiful, so comfortable and big, with great leather armchairs and wonderful books to read, great shower, huge bed, the hotel itself is fantastically decorated, just so cool, the staff were very nice, it was my wife's birthday and they left a card and a bottle of sparkling wine and two pastries, plenty of breakfast choices, nice bread and pastries and fruit etc.. but..
..The "hot" breakfast option was cold, I'm thinking the hotplate doesn't work very well. The only other issue was the construction of a Bershka shop next door, which wasn't the best for having a ly in or chilling in the room during the day, but I wouldn't let that put anyone off in the future, construction will be finished a couple of months at a guess

Location. Bar. Lobby, Marshall’s speaker in the room. Over all the experience was good.
We arrived early ( very early) bcos of the flight schedule… we finished the check in formalities and went out to roam the city with the request, if they could give us an early check in. However they did not give us our room even a min before 3 pn, that being the regular check in time. So if you expecting an early check in, guess it not their policy, so don’t expect it. In fact when we asked around 02:15 on, one of the staff at the reception very matter of factly told us “ well there is still 45min” 🥹

The hotel staff were excellent and the hotel was kept very clean. Bedding very good.
The breakfast was poor. Not enough choice and almost cold. Definitely not value for money. The lighting in the bedroom near the wardrobes was very poor.Couldn’t see your clothes. No mirror in the bedroom and getting ready wasn’t possible if the bathroom was occupied as it contained the only one mirror.

1. Few minutes walk to the historic site of Santa Justa Lift 2. Clean 3. Classy interior design 4. Love the size of the room ; very spacious 5. Jazzy vibes 6. 1 complimentary drink from the Hotel’s Bar
1. Lack of basic amenities such of toothbrush/toothpaste , facial tissues , disposable shaver 2. No instructions on the use of its shower 3. We arrived early but check-in time was at a later time . We placed 7 of our luggages in the hotel for safe-keeping. Our luggages were placed among many other tourists’ luggages, beside the main door of the hotel. There was only 1 number tag given for our 7 luggages, and our 7 luggages were not tied together . So, anyone could have taken our luggages by mistake.

Nicely appointed hotel with a wonderful staff. Very attentive and helpful. We ate at the hotel a couple nights after long days of touring and thoroughly enjoyed it. Bartenders were excellent and drinks so tasty too. They upgraded us to a junior suite and it was delightful! We would definitely stay here again!

Very nice hotel, in a perfect location. Central to all attractions, old town etc. We enjoyed our lovely complimentary cocktails on arrival, and everything else was lovely. Other than the breakfast, the hotel is very good. I would definitely stay here again
We only had the breakfast buffet on one morning and most of the hot food was barely warm. I would advise skipping the breakfast and dine outside instead. For €18 per head, you would get far better hot food nearby. The coffee was pretty forgettable too. I like a decent coffee to start the day but you won’t get it here.

As a solo female traveller, it takes me ages to decide where to stay. It was brilliant, clean, bang in the middle of everything, you can start walking in either direction and it will not disappoint. Everything on your doorstep, from shops, restaurants, pharmacy, transport etc. Bar staff was very engaging, friendly, and helpful. I found receptionists to be the least hospitable, quite formal, and no smile from either of them, but I couldn't care less about that. Rooms are well isolated and quiet. My view was non-existent, but I knew about it in advance, and it was by choice, since I only came there to shower and relax in the evening. I opted for the breakfast outside of the hotel because I feel 18€ is a bit excessive, so for that price I rather experience other places, which there are plenty. I would definitely come back if I ever come to Lisbon again. Oh and P.S. I have chronic back problems, and the beds are great, mattress on the firmer side but comfy and supportive.

I stayed at the Browns Hotel in April, so thought I would try this location this time. I did love the previous location as it is a little out of the centre (15 min walk) but I much prefer this location because it: - is in the centre and it is easier to walk to different locations. Around the area there are plenty of eating spots, shopping spots and it is good distance to walk to various monuments. -The room was lovely, a lovely vintage yet modern aesthetic. -Breakfast was very lovely, the room, the setting the food. -Staff were outstanding, helpful, super friendly. We had to leave super early on the day we were leaving so they created a breakfast box for us to take - as we were going to miss breakfast.
I loved everything to be honest, the staff were wonderful. Only think I would say was a bit of a nusence was the traditional door key & the struggle to get into the room with it. It took a long while to get a hang of opening the door with the old key. It would have been helpful if staff explained how to use it - as there is a certain way to open with the old style key. Quite a lot of the time we had to ask other people staying there to show us (aa they had to figure it out as well).

The room was very well designed, and we really enjoyed the stylish decor (we loved the SMEG kettle and Marshall speakers). The room was functional for 2 people - with a good sized table and chairs that allowed us to have our meals. There was also a small set up to make coffee and teas in the morning. The bed was comfortable as well. Toilet was clean and generally functional.
The door has a difficult mechanism to open — the hotel utilises a physical key that requires some coordination. We had to get some assistance from hotel staff to open the door. The shower doors would unfortunately let water through despite it being shut tight — which resulted in the rest of the bathroom area being constantly flooded.

What a lush surprise this hotel is! Clean, well decorated, great options. A welcome drink upon check in and a free bottle of Portuguese wine in the room plus a liter of free water. (IYKYK in Europe what a luxury free water is). Staff was friendly and thorough in their information and instructions to guests. They use physical keys - a nice boutique touch but I had no idea how to unlock a Portuguese door and needed staff to talk me through. They were patient and kind, though I felt a bit silly. Food is decent - take advantage of the happy hour deals. Room service is quick but it's only lunch and dinner.
It's located in the heart of Baixa-Chiado. If you want to be in the thick of *everything* - location is perfect. If you want something a little more mellow, it won't be a fit. It is super convenient to attractions, restaurants, bars, shopping, coffee and the metro. But it is crawling with people. Not my usual location setup but at least I couldn't hear anything from the room.
