Loved everything! We had the suite at the top. This apartment is exquisite! The large bed is very comfortable with a luxurious bathroom en-suite. Lobby area with a small fridge, coffee machine and dainty tea cups was beautiful. Very spacious throughout with additional separate shower and toilet. Beautiful lavender toiletries ‘on tap’ - the whole apartment was impeccably clean throughout and the deco was to die for! Perfectly located in the lower end of the city close to plenty of restaurants and bars but was quiet overnight.

If anything it would be the view as it’s in a narrow street but we didn’t spend much time in the apartment so wasn’t affected.

THE PLACE IS EXCELLENT,EXCACTLY AT THE CENTER OF THE CITY EVERYTHING IS SO CLOSE ROOM WAS VERY BIG AND COMFORT,WITH TWO BATHROOMS AND A SMALL LIVING ROOM VERY CLEAN WITH ALL THE AMENITIES,ENOUGH SPACE TO PACK YOUR THINGS AND MOVE VERY NICE DECORATION

1.THERE WAS NO FRIDGE IN THE ROOM (UNACCEPTABLE) THEY BROUGHT ONE THE NIGHT BEFORE OUR DEPARTURE,I HOPE THEY KEEP IT FOR THE NEXT CUSTOMER 2.IT IS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO LEAVE YOUR LUGGAGE IN A DIFFERENT PLACE THAN THE ONE YOUR ARE SUPPOSED TO STAY (IN PALACIO DAS ESPERIARIAS) AND THEN TAKE A TAXI TO GET TO THE ROOM.THERE HAS TO BE A PLACE AND SOMEBODY RESPONSIBLE TO PICK UP THE LUGGAGE AND KEEP THEM IN CASIHNA DOS SAPATEIROS UNTIL THE CHECK IN TIME COMES

We got to Lisbon super early in the morning. The staff at checkin did their best to get us our room a bit earlier than checkin time, which was a relief after from 20+ hours from Aus. The room itself was amazing, and the decor was stunning. Having breakfast around the corner each morning was such a treat with scrambled eggs, fresh juice and sandwich.

The checkin away from the property was such a hike with our luggage, both from the train station and then back to the property we were staying. The room is so huge, but the bathroom, particularly the shower was not of the same standard. I think that’s just standard for the older buildings.

They are very strict with timings (you cannot arrive earlier and cannot leave later) and the worst is that you cannot leave the luggage on the premises, but you need to leave them in their other location (10 minutes and not so pleasant walk as it is quite uphill) There is no reception (Even if they are responsive) It is generally better to have a reception presence and some human real interaction. Still they were always polite, but not accommodating for early check in or late checkout (not even for 1 hour). As facilities their other hotel is better, but as location I prefer this one.

Beautiful property in the hearth of Lisbon. Ideally located for sightseeing. My guess is that bad reviews are from the period prior to the renovation. Pictures in the bad reviews have nothing in common with the room that we stayed in. It had boutique design, with a lot of colors and flower theme.

As I said, hotel is in the heart of Lisbon which is great. Downside is that it can be a bit louder as room window is above restaurants. If you want to keep the window open during the night this could result with the noise from restaurant guest and when staff is moving the terrace chairs and tables.

Comfortable apartment with AC, in a very central location, close to the waterfront and to cafes, restaurants and shops, with good wifi, a coffee machine, and vouchers for breakfast at a place just 2 minutes walk away

The online check-in system took too long as we got sent the wrong link first, there were steep stairs up to the first floor, the bathroom was very small, the sofa had marks that need cleaning, the little plastic fridge (in a wardrobe) was not very effective, and there were no hand-towels the first night. These were things that stopped us giving a “10”.

We loved the large apartment and its location. Quiet at night despite ideal central location.

Hallways and stairs need an update. Stairs were steep and rugs dirty. There were stacks of towels left on the stairs daily. We also had trouble doing the online check-in, and couldn’t get our entry code until completed. Website needs to be more user-friendly. We tried twice from home, even called the hotel for assistance and then ended up finally getting it to go through while in Portugal. It would’ve been nice to have somebody there to meet us and check-in in person.

Excellent location within walking distance of all main attractions and areas. Beautifully decorated, comfortable and spacious room. Spotlessly clean. We booked a superior suite and it was fantastic, with two bathrooms and two sitting areas.

The check in process was a bit unclear, more information prior to arrival would have been nice (only received the code at 14.50 with checkin at 1500), and there was no option to store bags when we arrived in Lisbon early morning. However once into the property it was absolutely perfect. Some noise from street level which may be disruptive if very light sleeper, but the excellent location was worth this compromise

The Stay was great it started with us arriving into Lisbon around 11am. We knew check in was stated as 3pm but I emailed and asked anyway. Around 12 we had been given the code for the building and room which was really nice. The apartment was very unique and just so large brilliant value for money and it felt very safe and very cozy. Had everything you expect, great shower pressure,comfy bed, Aircon etc. The location was brilliant it's literally in the center of Lisbon you are a quick walk away from the pink street for nightlife and have brilliant shops and attractions right by you for during the day. I would find it very difficult to not pick this apartment again should I return to Lisbon tbh. Prior to your stay they sent me a message on booking.com as you have to complete a form for the government telling them about your stay. This is a requirement and the CANNOT give you your code until this is done. I couldn't get the government site to let me send it away so I told the hotel this and they were able to help me do this.

I guess the only complaint could be the noise at night but it's very very minor and it's because as I said you are literally in the center I didn't mind but if you are a bit sensitive I would suggest earplugs.

Wow!! The place was really nice!! The room is designed in a very special and unique way. The library with songs of Frank Sinatra, the cherry liqueur, for welcoming guests, conditioner that works well, a lot of light, and space in the room. The cleaning was perfect The owner was very helpful and kind, and responded very quickly to any questions. Even I forgot some stuff in the room and needed help to send it to another destination, they found it and were very kind to do it!! So I really recommend that place, you will enjoy, and feel safe😊
