Great location close to the main square. Everyone was really nice. Bed was comfortable. I was able to borrow a kettle and real coffee cup for my room. Fridge in room. Good shower pressure. Nice breakfast but the same everyday.

As with most places shower/room tiny. Had to close bathroom door to get to sink. Kept banging my legs getting around the bed to avoid hitting my head on the TV.

Absolute perfect location within walking distance of everything. Staff were very helpful.

We were so disappointed with our room. The view of the brick wall of the building opposite (which was very close) was the worst we’ve ever had on a city break. The room was very dark with only one tiny window and the tall building opposite so close there was no natural light. Couldn’t open the window as the noise from all the air conditioning units on the side of the building opposite was deafening

We loved the location. Right in the heart of everything. There were restaurants galore, shops , sightseeing, everything was walking distance. The room was clean, spacious, and quiet. The staff were absolutely fabulous greeting us so warmly upon arrival. We loved them all. They genuinely were there to help you enjoy your stay, providing great tips and amazing service throughout our stay. We didn’t have the breakfast as there were ample choices to explore, however we did eat lunch at the restaurant and it was probably one of the nicest meals we’ve had thus far. The duck, the Caesar salad, the cod cakes oh my lord, yum! Plus, we would have late night drinks at the bar after a long day and they most enjoyable and once again, the staff fabulous.

We liked a lot the location, very close to many sightseeings, to public transport means. The front desk and the bar staff very friendly and helpful, housekeepers delivered a good service. Lots of thanks!

The room and the bath size very small, difficult to move around the room for 2 persons. Should the sqm of the room have been mentioned at booking, may be we'd have been made aware of that aspect. The desk too small to work on it, so we had to move the coffee machine. The hanger bar for clothes at too high level, hence we had to stretch a lot to get to them. The shower glas walls were making a disturbing noise when dragged to close. For 2 days we received face towels ragged at the edges. In spite of these aspects, we keep in mind the good service of the staff and the great location of this hotel.

The location was great and a short Uber ride from most things we wanted to see. The breakfast was great and very robust with eggs, bacon, sausages, various cheeses, fruit and pastries. There was any kind of espresso or coffee as well as fresh juice and Prosecco to make mimosas. This was a great value. Also, surprisingly the room was very quiet once you closed the bathroom door. It was odd actually as there were street performers every night which you could hear loudly in the bathroom but when that door from the bathroom to the room was closed, it was virtually silent.

The only thing I could say that was a bit disappointing was the bathroom. It was not set up well for any drainage and so when the shower was running, no matter how well you tried there was water all over the floor, and the towels were soaked. There was also a fair amount of obvious mold at the base of the shower and where the provided soap tray attached to the shower wall. For people who are allergic to mold or just don’t like to see it this was a disappointment.

Location is perfect, bed is comfortable and ample for two people. Airconditioning System is very efficient! Soundproofing is effective, the only thing is, when people walk and drop things exactly above you, there is a kind of reverberation into the floor below... Shower is decent and of strong enough pressure... There is a small balcony, although, it is really for effect....

Floor is very slippery when wet in the Toilet and can be a real hazard for falls after coming out of the shower, or when walking from the main room into the Toilet and you haven't noticed that it is slippery.... Breakfast room can be crowded and difficult to maneuver at peak times.... The Wardrobe can be on the awkward side if you are of a short or medium size, I didn't have this problem as I'm tall... There is an unpleasant smell just outside the hotel from the surrounding drains, this smell can sometimes be detected in the breakfast room...

I liked being just by the Praça do Comercio. Extremely well located.

On the first night, when I arrived the AC in room 311 did not work and I ended up moving to a different room (304) which was considerably smaller, we could barely walk around the bed. I still got charged the same price... I did not ask for any kind of refund because the staff was so pleasant that I felt bad because they were really trying to make it work for me, but I think they should have charged me for a smaller room. I'm leaving a good review because the hotel is really nice in terms of location and staff. Breakfast was also good.

The location of the hotel is spot on! Right in the center, which enabled us to go to the hotel in the middle of the day for a break or to change clothes. The room are clean and rather good considering the hotel level. Because I asked quiet rooms we received rooms which that faced a neighboring building or a wall that was very close and there was an unpleasant smell in the air. So we had to keep the windows closed and shuttered all the time, which was less pleasant. The staff is very nice and tentative. We didn't take breakfast since they are much better options outside the hotel.

There isn't a lobby/sitting area in the hotel which enables to sit when waiting for check in, check out, taxi friends etc. This is especially lacking when you return tired from a trip outside.

The hotel lives up to its name. It is very charmingly located in the middle of the city but is very quiet at night. The reception staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is nice and clean and we have a nice view of the city since it is almost Christmas. The lights and decorations outside are beautiful and what I also love is the personalized welcome message with my name on it and so many compliments in the room, the drinks and especially the famous Pastel de Nata. The breakfast is also delicious and plentiful. I absolutely recommend this hotel and will definitely come back.
