- Overall cleanliness - Breakfast was very good, although there’s room for improvement in the warm items and juices - Excellent bathroom, although more hooks would’ve been useful - Terrific sound proofing from outside noises - Location was pretty good even though it’s not in the main tourist areas (it’s very well connected though, with Metro and commuter train stations nearby). Campo Pequeño however has quite a few attractions on its own. - Helpful and nice staff
- Not the friendliest street location to park a car, although they have their own private parking - Storage / closet room could’ve been better

comfortable bed, clean nice breakfast, close to metro
Some male staff seemed to have lack of knowledge about tourist attraction , ( when I asked he just handle a tour pamphlet!). Other day when I asked how to get to Belém as metro was not working he suggested to walk to other 1.5 km station ( which was actually closed too). On the way back to hotel a stranger at front of hotel advised me to take direct a bus just 3 min walking from hotel. Why your employer does not have such knowledge working in tourist hotel??Also I stayed 9 nights in this hotel and only after 4 nights I discovered( by curtesy of one nice woman employee /receptionist advised me kindly that a cattle is available at the reception . on anther hand few young employees where very polite, opening doors helping with language ( One was Gabriel, sorry forgo name of other)

This hotel is perfect for business visits and for tourism if you want to be a little far to the crazy old city. The commute from this place is perfect, you can walk to the metro station, buses and even at 9 minutes walking is Entrecampos metro station to take the metro to visit Sintra. The hotel is clean and very well cared for. You can book a room with a buffet breakfast or you can purchase the breakfast for 11 Euros (in June 2025). The breakfast has a variety of products and amazing choices for fruit was my favorite part. There is a place for an event in the Campo Pequeño park where we enjoy concerts with local artists for free and enjoy a delicious local beef. At night we close the windows and enjoy the room with air conditioning and sleep. The pillows need to be changed because they are a little uncomfortable but in general it's a very good hotel for the price. The staff is very friendly.

Good buffet breakfast that started at 7.30am! So, was able to get an early start to the day. This was great because most cafes don't start breakfast until about 9.00am. Room and bathroom were always clean. Bed was comfortable. I could adjust room temperature to my liking. The room faced a busy street but was fairly soundproof. Nice rain showerhead and excellent water pressure. All the staff were nice but the young woman, the architecture student in particular, was excellent. She suggested interesting things to do and see and was very helpful in extending my stay at the hotel.
It took a very long time of me running the water for water to warm up. I felt terrible about wasting water but it wasn't possible to shower in cold water. In the initial 2-3 days, water heated up nicely. After that, water was just lukewarm. So couldn't really enjoy the rain showerhead with excellent water pressure.

This is a beautifully restored older building right in the center of things. The owner was delightful.
This is not the place to stay is one has mobility problems as it is necessary to climb at least 1 flight of stairs and perhaps more (depending on the room). Our room was also noisy because of the location on a major street. Traffic noise continues until about 11 pm ad begins again by about 7 am so this is not the place if you want to go to sleep early or sleep in in the morning. The TV was a little quirky.

Very clean and very comfy bed and great air conditioning. No musty smells. great convenient lighting by the beds. Mini fridge in room and free bottled water and replenished daily. No street noises.
It is kind of middle of town, but not really walkable to most main attractions or Biaxa/Chiado or Alfambra or Aquarium, which seemed to all be in different directions. Ubers were easy to get, but added up after while as you would take one to say Biaxa spend several hours then come back for a rest then maybe go over to main square for evening. So another uber back. I believe a metro stop was close by, but uber was often just slightly more- not at popular times. We wanted to be sort of near the airport- 15-20 min at 6:30 AM In hindsite, I would have stayed closer to Biaxa/chiado and just left much earlier for airport.

I was in Lisbon for a conference and was extremely happy with the Alif Hotel. Staff were more than helpful, my room was comfortable, everything I needed was available, the breakfast was excellent and the location near the Campo Pequena was within walking distance of shops, restaurants, public transport and not far from the airport. I would highly recommend this hotel. In addition, when my flight was cancelled due to the blackout, I was able to extend my stay and staff were wonderful taking away some of the stress of the situation.

This is a great stay at Lisbon! Me and my boyfriend had a great time and it was very easy to get to the central area by Bolt or Uber (which costs around €4-5 each way). There is a shopping mall about 2 min walk (literally across the road) which has a food court. There are also plenty of restaurants, pastries and bakeries nearby. The breakfast was great with good options (pasteis de nata every morning 🥳) and basic breakfast food which was perfect for the price of the hotel. The hotel is located about 10-15 minutes from the airport and I would recommend getting a Bolt or Uber from the airport as they charge about €5-6 for the ride and the hotel taxi charges about €20. The room was very spacious and we had a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was also nice and spacious. We also had a small balcony. Would definitely recommend this Hotel to anyone visiting Lisbon!
Not much negative to say about the hotel. Everything was great, would only have loved having a kettle or coffee machine in the room as well!

Once through the lobby the hotel was comfortable and pleasant. Rooms very clean, beds comfy. Price was good, near metro and the neighborhood felt safe and lively. The converted bullfighting ring across the street offered eateries with great happy hour specials.
Other than a vending machine dispensing instant coffee, with no option for no sugar, there is no option in the hotel for any hot drinks. It isn't even possible to purchase only coffee during breakfast service. A kettle in the room would be so welcome or make one of the coffee machines in the breakfast room available to guests. The lobby has a unwelcoming, cold atmosphere with the staff appearing more as security than hospitality. They were all pleasant to deal with but the lobby could have warmer lighting, lower TV volume, plants etc.

Very clean, comfortable hotel that represented excellent value for the money we paid to stay there. Great shower! The staff were friendly and helpful. Metro/fertagus connections within easy walking distance and there is a decent shopping mall across the road.
It is a bit remote and you will need to use transportation to get in to the city centre. But it is well served by public transport (see above) and you can get an Uber from right outside the door (they are remarkably affordable in Lisbon).
