Everything ….what an amazing hotel… the first welcome to the last goodbye, the staff so friendly and kind… the rooms were so clean and fresh… no shortage of toiletries and first class toiletries…. Towels changed everyday… complimentary water in room and fresh juice at reception… tea and coffee facilities, fridge also in room… couldn’t praise our stay enough.. location near everything.. supermarkets, coffee shops, restaurants, beach..,just fantastic…

Nothing genuinely loved everything about it…

The hotel is ideally situated near a variety of shops and restaurants. We received a warm and friendly welcome at reception, which set a great tone for our stay. Both the reception area and restaurant feature stylish, modern décor that’s truly inviting. Our room was beautifully designed and thoughtfully decorated, with subtle sensor lighting that made nighttime movement easy without disturbing sleep. The bed and bedding were exceptionally soft and comfortable, ensuring a restful night. The shower had excellent water pressure, and the bathroom amenities had a lovely, refreshing scent. I absolutely loved staying at this hotel and will definitely choose it again on my next visit to Matosinhos.

The location was excellent. It was three minute walk from the beach. The breakfast was very good, lots of fruit, cereal and a good cooked breakfast, also cheese, cold meats and lots of pastries. There was fresh chilled water, different flavours inside the front door. There was an iron and ironing board in the room, also tea and coffee making facilities.

Staff were very slow to replenish breakfast dishes, eg. bread, butter and cooked breakfast. Some mornings we had to ask for them.

Location beside beach supermarket & public transport routes . Lovely restaurant s nearby . Great to be close to city centre .hotel really clean . Liked the foyer for relaxing in & watching tv / having a drink . Great breakfast too . Fridge was perfect . We used the gym also .

Air conditioning was always on , very effective in the room but would like to have been able to turn it off at night & not leave window open .

The staffs were great. Very helpful and friendly and polite. Helped us to check in very early. Property is located in Walking distance to the beach. Even though outside the city center, loads of taxis to take you to the center quickly. Very calm area. Very clean property.

Very minor to mention. Coffee is bad and that is not only the property but also many coffee shops in the city. Also I expected to have flip flops of some sort. Also hairdryer was missing.

We booked this place to stay after our wedding party and we were really glad we did. Staff was really nice and accommodating. We were offered a room upgrade, prosecco and a cake. The room was modern, well decorated and impeccably clean. Really good value for the money, recommended!

The rooms are a bit small. But we knew that in advance and to be honest wasn’t an issue as we didn’t need more. Otherwise nothing really.

Our room #101 ,1st floor, right by the elevator, Big room, daily bottled water, big tv, bar fridge, coffee machine, great bathroom, loved the sensor night light, made it easy to use bathroom middle of the night without turning bright lights on. Breakfast was great, close to large supermarket, 10 min leisurely walk to the beach, restaurants close by

Toilet had a glass screen, would be better for that screen to be frosted,

The location was excellent as it was very close to where the guest would be working. The breakfasts were apparently really good. A free bottle of water was provided every day, just little things that go a long way. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The hotel was very clean and the rooms extremely comfortable.

Everything was fine. The person I booked in is extremely fussy but he had no complaints about anything related to the hotel.

A truly American hotel in Portugal. Tea/coffee service and mini-fridge in the room as well as free parking, sufficient linens for each guest and wash cloths. There were welcome cookies and water in the room. Bathroom was very thoughtfully redone and there were lots of electrical and charging options as well as a large window that tilted open to allow fresh air. Lots of options to control the level of lighting in all areas. Although I was not there on business this time, it would be a very comfortable room for a business traveler. Lots of seating options, large closet with iron and safe, almost no street noise when the windows are closed and sufficient space for the luggage of 2 people (but probably not 4). Very friendly and professional staff. The other guests seemed friendly and happy to be there. If you stay in enough hotels in Europe you’ll appreciate that exchanging smiles and greetings in the hallway can be uncommon - not so at this hotel. Genuinely happy guests! The bar/lounge area seemed popular among other guests. Lots to do in the surrounding area!

I asked about parking before checking in. The instructions were utterly useless when I arrived so I paid for (very reasonably priced) on-street parking before learning of the parking garage. Later decided to use the garage but staff did not warn that entry to garage curves (twice) and the entrance is steep, so you’re entering almost blind and it is difficult to see the correct path. Ended up damaging the bumper. Entirely my fault and the street parking would have been much cheaper. Only a comforter on the bed and no separate sheet that I noticed, so I had to lower the temperature to avoid overheating.

Rooms very comfortable and clean with a modern, walk-in shower. We chose not to eat in the hotel so can't comment on breakfast or other meals. Great location in a quiet neighbourhood that was convenient for beaches and loads of restaurants. Public transport into Porto town was very easy - bus from right outside or a short walk to the metro.
