large, clean, comfortable apartment. front desk staff was friendly and helpful.

There are two different hotels… the Oca Vitória and the Iva Flores. The reception desk for both properties is on Flores. We climbed the hill to the Vitória entrance, dragging our suitcases up a steep cobbles hill, only to have to go down to the Flores entrance to register. Very confusing.

This accommodation is spread across several floors and 3 buildings, centred around a garden. There is a small granite pool outside that can be used, a bar and spa facilities. Its location is perfect, in the heart of historic Porto surrounded by shops, cafes and places of interest, and about 10 minutes from the river. The staff were all amazing - incredibly helpful, making us welcome and suggesting places to eat and visit. Our room was huge, easily sleeping 4, 6 at a push, and we had view of the cathedral. Would recommend for all travellers, our 5 year old was very happy there.

The room was very clean but a bit tired and sparse. The cupboard door was loose and the bed very firm but that’s personal preference. None of this really an issue but a repaint and new curtains would make it 10/10.

The hotel's situation is exceptional. It is in the heart of Porto, near all the city's attractions: the wineries, the River, Lello Library, Palacio de la Bolsa, Seo, etc. It is also in a good zone of restaurants and commerce streets. There is nothing better when visiting Oporto. I also liked the silence inside the installations. You are not conscious of being in the core of a great city.

The hotel does not have a car park, and parking in the streets around it is impossible. They have an agreement with a nearby Private Car Park to park the car for entire days. The price is reduced, but it is still expensive.

Was surprised by how complicated it was to get our bags to our apartment. Also the website did not accurately represent the space we would be staying in.

Beautiful place and the staff there were amazing! Really great top tips from them which really made the stay even better!

The only thing I would say for constructive feedback is that we staid in the top villa building. The room was great! My opinion is that the corridors and corridors doors looked very industrial, like a warehouse and that they party let the beauty of the hotel down.. you could invest in making that top building look nicer and more pleasant to look at or walk through. ALSO, awful pillows.. the pillows need changing to thicker and more comfortable pillows.. didn’t sleep well on them at all

The hotel was located in a perfect position to enable sightseeing around the beautiful city.

When you search for hotels in Porto with a pool this pops up and you see the picture of a fountain when we got there the only pool is the in door spa pool which you have to pay to use which was disappointing.

Absolutely loved how wonderful the staff were. They were extremely helpful and VERY friendly. All our needs were tended to in a very efficient manner. Hotel was perfectly located in the centre of it all and we were very easily able to access the sightseeing tour buses as well as all the amenities and gift shops. The property itself was very clean and well-looked after.

There were too many stairs and this is something I should have checked before booking. My mother has bad knees and the property we booked, although was very beautiful and spacious, had too many stairs to climb. The hotel staff were helpful enough and offered to take up the breakfast to our room at no extra charge though! The breakfast could do with a little more variety too.

The apartment was great. It was very spacious and the balcony had a wonderful view of the city and cathedral. The gardens were nice and we enjoyed sitting in them on the sun loungers. We also enjoyed the plunge pool. The location of the hotel is very central, you can walk to most places.

There were no Portuguese beers, there was a good selection of Spanish beer. Why no Super Bock? The plunge pool was included, but there was an extra charge to use the pool.

Excellent location, very close to metro and railway station. Our duplex villa opened out into a lovely garden with outside seating. The villa was spacious, the very large double bed was comfortable and the villa was cleaned daily. The villas are part of a hotel which offered breakfast for 15 euros. With our own kitchen, and numerous eating places just outside the hotel, we didn't try this. The kitchen equipment included a kettle, a toaster, a microwave and a Nespresso machine - some juggling with the single kitchen electricity socket was required. The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming.

A few additions to the room are needed. There was no corkscrew or bottle opener - we had to "borrow" one from reception and give it back straightaway! Very limited in terms of plates, cups and bowls. In the living area there was a sofa but no occasional table to put cups or glasses. We had to ask to replenish loo rolls, soap and washing up liquid. There was no towel to dry dishes.

We stayed in the split level duplex, which led out into a beautiful communal garden area. The location right in the centre of town, yet with the peaceful garden with fountain and deck chairs was so relaxing. You are within a few minutes walk of the main tourist sites like the Tower, but can come back to enjoy the quiet garden surroundings.

The room is a little dated, and in the booking description it says we could use the spa and sauna, but at check in we were told this was an extra charge. Would have been better value for money if this, plus breakfast, was included in the price.
