I recently missed my flight and found myself in need of a place to stay. After searching online, I was fortunate to secure a room at this hotel. The staff went above and beyond to assist me in every possible way, even after regular working hours. The next day, I had an early flight, and the staff kindly accommodated my needs outside of their usual schedule. Their exceptional service made a stressful situation much more manageable.

From check in to leaving, everything was perfect. The room was very quiet - for a city centre hotel that is a bonus, also very comfortable. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the city centre.

In my view, the hotel was perfect. Nothing could have improved my stay

It is a little difficult to find, but the location could not have been better! When you arrive, you cannot just walk into the lobby. You must ring a bell outside and wait for someone to allow you in for check in. Very safe and secure! Breakfast was not included.

Spacious room with a big fan, the cleanliness; all white and relaxing atmosphere. Comfortable beds.

-The bathroom was just what you need, which was great, but there was a funny smell (although we understood it as it didn’t have a window. I liked the bright paint and it was very good overall.

The staff was very helpful and gave us some indications to better enjoy our stay in Porto.

The bath/shower was clean and functional, however tiny and outdated, the splash curtain would stick to your body constantly due to the lack of space and taking a bath was not an option.

At first we were put in a tiny attic room with a double bed-a photo of this is NOT on their website and I had booked a twin room with Booking.com. No explanation was made as to why we were put there in the first place just that we would be moved the next day. My guess is that they had double booked but this was not explained at all. We spent two nights in the attic room which was very cramped indeed before we were moved to a much bigger room with far more space. I cannot fault the reception staff, especially the young girl who was extremely helpful. Also the lady who took care care of the cleaning and changing of bed linen etc-the cleanliness of the hotel is excellent.

Someone should have explained why we were not put in twin rooms to begin with. I didn't ask to be compensated for this purely because the room that they gave us was probably the largest that they had and because the reception staff were so lovely. However it doesn't take away the fact that we had paid upfront before seeing where we were going to spend the next two nights -I would have asked for a reduction had I known.

Maybe the shower could be a bit less claustrophobic :) And the water stream/pressure was in the shower a bit weak, but all was super clean and cozy;)

The hardworking sweet lady in charge of everything: reception, cleaning, etc. The building is a beautiful piece of architecture. High ceilings and a wonderful open dome. Central location.

The beauty of the historical building doesn't help much when having to climb large staircase (no elevator).

Only one problem with the room! The traffic outside our balcony window! It was horrible. I slept like a baby but the noise was very irritating at times. From early evening till around 1 in the morning!

The lady at reception was excellent and very easy to work with. She went out of her way to help us and was even able to provide us with a piece of luggage we required.
