We recently spent four wonderful nights at this hotel, and we can confidently say that it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, the entire staff made us feel so welcome. Every member of the personnel was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional, ensuring that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast. It was absolutely fantastic! There was a wide variety of options to cater to every taste—whether you prefer a continental spread, fresh fruits, or heartier options, you’ll find something to love. Don’t miss out on it if you visit! It’s definitely a great way to start your day. During our stay, we also had the pleasure of using the hotel’s massage service. Brigida and Joanna were truly exceptional. Their massages were not only relaxing but also carried out with great professionalism and care. The quality of the massage was top-notch, and it was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring Porto. If we had to mention one minor disadvantage, it would be the bathroom door, which is made of glass. Although it doesn’t allow you to see through it, it does not block sound as well as a traditional door might. This didn’t impact our overall experience much, but it's something to be aware of. All in all, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the entire team at the hotel. Your hospitality made our trip to Porto even more special! I would like to give a special thank you to Ana C. in the reception who could professionally handle a difficult situation. The property felt fresh, spacious and modern.

The gym space was ridiculously small - the size of a hotel room. I had to share this space with three more people which was a bit too crouded. The use of the indoor pool and the entrance to the spa costs extra 8 eur for an adult which is too much as it is already quite an expensive hotel. No kids are allowed which makes the spa hard to use if you have kids…I would instead suggest setting up certain hours during a day for a childfree time.

Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices. Specially enjoyed the fresh orange juice watching it come out of the machine. Lots of healthy food on offer and some naughty choices as well like the croissants and honey and pasteis de natas. Restaurant staff were polite and efficient. Beds very comfortable especially the enormous pillows. We ate in the hotel in the evening on a few occasions and the food was beautifullly presented and tasty. Room was kept very clean by the housekeeping staff - thanks for that.

Had difficulty getting the shower set at a comfortable temperature. Also I couldn't reach any of the hooks in the bathroom as I'm only five foot tall. Had the same problem trying to reach the hangers in the wardrobe.

Spent a wonderful 5 nights here in April. Hotel is modern and clean and ideally situated for exploring Porto. Transfers from the airport were easy on the metro and then a 10 mins walk to the hotel. We had asked for a quiet room which was very peaceful. The room was spotlessly clean and airy with a great bathroom with walk in shower. Bed was super comfy too. There is a great selection for breakfast including fresh omelette station and fresh orange juice machine. The friendly, hardworking restaurant staff kept everything topped up and the tables clear. We also ate in the hotel for dinner on two nights and the food was delicious. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful with any queries. We would 100% stay here again on our next time to Porto!

The breakfast was amazing! Lots of choices - I was able to get my oat milk and chia seeds. We were so impressed with the freshness and quality of the food. Availability of fresh orange juice, multiple coffee and tea options. Everything was refreshed routinely. The waffle and omelette bar was excellent. The room was clean, modern, comfortable, and well laid out. The lighting options were excellent, the shower was very nice, and the beds were comfortable. We love the little balcony and available kettle in the room. The outdoor pool was very nice and my wife used the gym one morning and was happy to have it available with many options. The hotel is conveniently located in the city, and it make it easy to return to it throughout our day as needed. We can't wait to stay here again on our next visit!

Nothing to say here, we were very impressed and would definitely stay at the Catalonia on our next trip to Porto!

The hotel was very well positioned with plenty of restaurants nearby. The pool and bar areas at the hotel itself were a welcome bonus, and the staff were attentive. The river and bridges of Porto were well within walking distance.

We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel - we thought it was very expensive. There are plenty of cafes where you can get breakfast nearby. DO NOT ask the hotel to book you a taxi - we did and we were ripped off. We were charged almost as much for a 10 minute (without meter)drive to the station as we had paid for a 30 minute (on the meter) drive from the airport three days earlier.

- It is a pet friendly hotel and all the staff was ultra welcoming to ours. They provided a bed and bowls for his water and food - Breakfast has lots of variety and live cooking - Location is perfect for sightseeing - Modern and comfy rooms - Lots of plugs in the room and bathroom - TV in the room has chromecast already attached. You can watch your streaming services in the big screen.

- Be aware that parking is not available in the hotel but public parking is availabale nearby and on weekends and public holidays you can park in the street in front of the hotel for free. We already knew beforehand so not exactly something that we didn't like, just a heads up for other possible guests.

Really handy location in Porto, close to bars and restaurants. The pool was good for cooling off (the sunbeds were mostly taken, but doesn't matter if you're just going for a swim). Comfy beds. Staff were helpful.

I guess we booked the most basic (standard) double room, but at first we were put in a room between the ground floor and the first floor, and we were kept awake by the sound of the pipes when people on the first floor would use the bathroom. Like, no insulation whatsoever, it was like being in the bathroom with them. We asked to move and we were moved up to the first floor. But I don't see how that can be acceptable to anyone paying £120+ a night to stay here.

The location was great, with many restaurants in the area. You can walk within 10 minutes to many landmarks like Porto Cathedral, São Bento station, Santo Ildefonso Church, and Mercado do Bolhão. Using the Guindais Funicular, the Ribeira district was also accessible on foot. The property is new and higher-end, with many amenities. We didn't use it, but the outdoor pool and lounge area were beautiful and would be relaxing for enjoying the sun. We were too busy sightseeing since Porto has so much to offer. Breakfast was amazing, with many quality choices even for people with gluten-free diets. The front desk staff was very professional and went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant stay in Porto. We felt very well taken care of.

The whole property was lightly scented with fragrance, including the lobby and the rooms. I am scent-sensitive, and the fragrance was a bit too much, although I assume most people would love the fresh, alluring scent in the air. The beds were a bit too hard and not very comfortable for us. We mentioned to the cleaning staff that there was a missed spot that needed to be cleaned. And it was done quickly. Thank you.

Lovely, comfortable spacious rooms, big beds, and pillows very quiet had balcony looking over the garden, hotel have pool and spa pool and sun loungers outside In the garden staff very friendly from the moment we came by receptionist,bar staff,and cleaners all said hello and made us feel welcome, great location everything's in walking distance to town/high street lots of shops and the riverside where there is lots of restaurants, bars tourist shops and when we need to get about further we used bolt for taxi like uber once you have the app taxis only cost 1-5 euros to most places with your first 50% off we even used bolt taxis to take us to airport for 7 euros

Very overpriced for drinks. I'm not sure why we weren't allowed plastic cups by the sun lougers, but that is what we were told by bar staff. It seemed a bit silly as we were the only ones around the pool,
