Location is superb, possible to walk around city center, near to the attractions, main shopping streat , restaurants...but also close to public transport ( metro, buses).Room ( suite) was very spatious, bright and clean. Room internet also well- we had some issue on the first day, but was resolved.Cleaning service is excellent.Hotel is small so it is very quiet.Staff at the reception very helpful, reception working 24/7.

Breakfast could have more choices. It is continental, but every day there was only one sort of cheese and ham, also only white bread, toast and bun. Bun was freshly home made and delicious, but in limited quantities so if coming after 9 , not sure if there would be any left. Otherwise all was tasty and fresh.

It is lovely place when you get inside the hotel. From Outside you don’t realize there is a hotel in there, unless if you pay attention on the signs. It is a busy location and avoid to park in there it is very congested area. Inside it is a nice hotel . Each floor has a theme based on the Coliseum theatre history. Our room was great and we loved stayed in there.. very well located and it is a walk distance to all the attractions in Porto

There was a little issues with the water that goes outside the bathtub area.. it looks like the bath door doesn’t seal well. We have to through towels on the floor to keep it dry

Location and reception staff were very good. Breakfast was OK Room had plenty of space and was kept very clean Great shower with plenty of pressure, our room also had a jacuzzi bath, but we didn't get to use it. Very good air con (if a little chilly even when set to 24°)

The beds! we asked for a double if possible, but were given two singles, they were the hardest mattresses we have ever slept on, very uncomfortable compared to what we are used to. A couple of nights there were functions next door which were very loud at 6am (not the hotels fault at all) it was quite noisy, luckily we could keep the windows shut to keep out most of the noise as the aircon was good

Room was very small. Strange layout of the toilet and shower. Mattress hard. Wash basin in the room and frosted glass doors that were pretty see through. On paying we had a disagreement about the credit card payment. If you are offered to accept GBP or Euro choose Euro and then decline the conversion. Otherwise you get charged by their conversion rate and a 5% surcharge, This was not explained. It seems that this is rife in Portugal. So be aware. We were only there one night.

clean, great location, close to the main market area and promenade, such a helpful front desk for tourist locations, great parking right across the street for low cost - fun entertainment themed room, a little on the small side but manageble, stocked mini fridge. The hotel is in the same building area and attached to the Coliseum stadium that hosts musich concerts etc. Breakfast had warm choices (eggs, baconetc) and the normal cold choices (yogurt, fruit, cereal, cold cuts) in the buffet. Housekeeping even found a necklace I lost there and they are sending it to me. Update- they did send me the necklace, it arrived a week after I they found it..what great service I am really surprised they found it. That means it is a hotel run by a good team!

Breakfast -- Very good breakfast -- scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, crossoint/breads, some sweet pastries, milk/cereal, fresh cut fruits (orange, pineapple, melon etc). I would have rated this as a Great breakfast if the espresso was better. Great view of the city from the terrace breakfast room which also has the outdoors seating space Room: Very very nice room, clean bed, small living area next to the bedroom with it's own TV, refrigerator, good, clean bathroom. Modern decor. Location: Very good. About 15 min walk from the Douro river and Sao Bento metro station. Close to the bars, restaurants. The tapas bar opposite to the hotel is fantastic

Espresso at breakfast is not good. You see the dark liquid pour in first from the machine and then some water. Not very hot in temperature either. This is the only real negative for me. Not super close to any metro station or a bus stop. However, Sao Bento station is a quick 12 min walk.

We originally booked for 2 nights our circumstances changed and they waved the 1st night no show fee as a good will gesture. Now if you intend to just sleep then the standard double or twin are fine…. But if your there a few days and want to come and go get the suite We paid for an upgrade after 1 night in smaller room and it’s well worth it. 24hr access with fob… lifts to all floors only 5 rooms on each floor

Location was great to access the wonderful city of Porto. The themes running from the colliseum next door were a nice touch. Staff were amazing. Breakfast was very continental but more than sufficient and fresh served in the rooftop terrace overlooking the city.

The only issue we had was that the shower water temperature was often luke warm at best. Staff were attentive to this and tried to sort but think it was as s consequence of the water pump infrastructure to the upper floors.

Property was conveniently located in the city centre, the room was large and spacious with a separate area with chair, sofa, tv, mini bar and kettle with cups and assorted drinks. Leading off of this area was the bathroom equipped with a jacuzzi bath, shower, twin sinks and a wc. The main room had twin beds which is what l requested, a closet with safe, dressing table and another tv, this room was also large and spacious.

Although adequate the breakfast could do with expanding their choice.

We were upgraded from a standard room. The room was large with a separate sitting area with a couch, coffee table, and TV. The bathroom had a spa bath. This was the musical room. A free yummy breakfast overlooking Porto was delightful. Reception assisted with information during some stressful times re our cruise booking. They even phoned the travel company as we didn't have international roaming. We can not thank you enough.
